The Wroclaw Agglomeration Development Agency is a company established in 2005, owned by the Wroclaw Commune and 32 local governments from the agglomeration. Our activities are focused on many areas of the functioning of Wroclaw and the surrounding municipalities, contributing to tightening cooperation and building a strong economic position and image of the Wroclaw agglomeration. Diveindata helped us map gamedev studios in the Wroclaw agglomeration. This enabled us to investigate who these entities are, what size they are and to answer a number of questions of interest to us.

The deciding factor was the favourable reviews and one of the previous reports. It was not insignificant that we support local startups to be successful.

The task was to prepare and write a report that covers the entire subject of Wrocław Gamedev.

We worked with the entire DiD team (2 people) and the graphics team (2 people) from the contractor's side. From our side, 3 people participated in the project. A project manager, a specialist and a PR manager.

The result of the cooperation is a report describing the whole Gamedev industry in the Wroclaw agglomeration. The report has already been downloaded hundreds of times in the 3 months since its launch.

We had a lot of discussions and planning at the beginning. In the next stage, we met every two weeks for starus and for a summary of each stage.

The end product was a report in a clear and attractive graphic form, presenting the potential of the market in which we operate, trends that should be addressed, as well as potential threats. We also received a benchmark with comparable players showing what we are better at and where we still have room for improvement. The report provided actionable steps that should be taken in the future to keep the company moving in the right direction.
