The measurable outcomes were clear: with their ad optimizations, we saw impressions rise, click-through rates improve, and overall costs trend downward—acknowledging some fluctuations month-to-month. Beyond the metrics, the communication was top-notch. As a small marketing team, having access to their resources felt like we had expanded our own team—making a huge difference to our success.

What impressed me most about Disruptive Advertising was the combination of deep expertise and genuine partnership. Christine and the team didn't just offer services; they became an extension of our small marketing group. Their personalized approach—no cookie-cutter solutions—and the sheer breadth of resources they made available made us feel we had a powerhouse behind us. They excel in both quality and care, and that balance is rare.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Disruptive Advertising could have done differently?

One area of improvement might be creating a standardized, long-term performance tracking format—something month-to-month that shows key metrics like impressions, CTR, and costs. Having a clear pattern over time might help teams—especially those less experienced—digest performance at a glance. Even a log correlating major actions to results would help tie efforts to outcomes. That would make future success even clearer for us.

So far, they're exceeding expectations in terms of lead flow and CPL. They've been extremely communicative every step of the way, including identifying new keywords and ad copy ideas that have resulted in several new clients.

Everything has been on time, meetings are prompt, and they respond within 2-3 hours to all requests.

The most impressive thing so far has been the communication and thoroughness. They've identified several areas of ours that could be improved, along with identifying several ideas that they felt wouldn't work with suggestions for better alternatives.

We are measuring everything using our existing CRM Platform as well as shared assets/resources via Google Drive. Working with the Disruptive team, we've created a fully integrated digital marketing strategy that help generate high quality leads through PPC, paid ads, social media marketing, and more. Leads can call, chat, or fill out our landing page contact form where our intake staff contacts the lead and onboards them. We measure each lead through our CRM which is filtered back into our paid marketing efforts to further increase the overall quality of leads. As google (and other platforms) continue to change, Disruptive helps us remain visible to our clients while maximizing our conversions.

Through our own CRM measurements, we could easily see an increase in overall lead quantity as well as quality while our cost per lead continues to fall. Some months are better than others but we have watched an overall trending increase year over year.

I have a WONDERFUL relationship with my project manager at Disruptive. Jonni has helped shape our overall digital marketing strategy and is always quick to provide additional opportunities for growth or creative ideas to maximize existing efforts. She is quick to respond to any questions, is always prepared on our marketing calls, and truly cares about the success of our firm. It's been an absolute pleasure to work with her and the rest of the Disruptive team. They are genuinely authentic without the BS of "telling us what we want to hear" or trying to get us to spend more.

While we've collaborated with many companies offering similar services, Disruptive truly stands out. They consistently deliver on the results that others only promise. Their team is not only knowledgeable and professional but also feels like an extension of our own marketing department. I've built genuine personal relationships with everyone at Disruptive; they genuinely care about our firm's overall well-being—from our staff to my personal well-being—not just the numbers, which is incredibly rare and valued. 

Are there any areas for improvement or something Disruptive Advertising could have done differently?

Naturally, as the marketing landscape changes, so do companies that provide marketing services. Disruptive continues to adapt their service offering and manage staff changes in an effort to provide the best level of service. However, from a customer point-of-view, this leads to unwanted changes in staff and a period of time while new staff gets familiar with our account. Thankfully, our account exec is still with us and minimizes this impact. I don't see anyway around this but is the only improvement I can think of.

The primary objective was to take an existing set of campaigns on google ads and increase profitability / reduce marketing cost. Secondarily we wanted to start advertising many new brands that were not already being advertised.

Increased ROAS.

The project was managed by a communicative project manager; however, very little actual work was done. The proof was in the changelog, where almost no changes were made by their team.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

High ratings on clutch.co and they also told us they managed a similar large company in a different country but we now suspect this was misleading if not outright lying.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Disruptive Advertising could have done differently?

Where do I begin. In short, Disruptive did not deliver. I suspect most of their high ratings are for small companies with small budgets because they went backward with our 6 figure marketing budget and really had no idea how to produce positive results. Our marketing costs went up, not down.

We kept telling them we wanted to expand our marketing to new brands that we brought on, but they never did until the very end, launching a campaign that burned money with no results. We invested hundreds of thousands into new brands and barely sold them because they simply refused to start new campaigns. That inventory sat collecting dust.

To add insult to injury, after they failed to deliver the project, they charged us exorbitant termination fees even without doing any work. For example, we were charged for August, and they literally didn't even have access to our system anymore. They did NOTHING and charged us 5 figure termination fees.

The most concerning was after removing them, we immediately improved by doing it in-house within a week and have continually improved every week thereafter. Our revenues are way up, our costs are down, and we're selling new brands.

We have not looked back. I do not recommend Disruptive if you have 6 figure budgets; they will burn money.

Thanks for your feedback. While it’s unfortunate that things didn’t go as expected, we need to follow our processes, especially with on and off-boarding clients as that allows us to provide the best offer to new and existing clients. That said, we understand that not every partnership works out.

We’re sorry to hear that you feel there was a disconnect, especially around the campaign execution and billing, but we followed the terms of the agreement, and any fees charged were in line with that. We tried to be as clear as possible in both the onboarding and off-boarding process around this. We’d be happy to review the specifics if needed.

They are responsive to our needs immensely and, in most cases, will reply immediately to our communications whether via Slack or email. We are a unique company with unique solutions, so having a flexible, receptive ,& knowledgeable partner is crucial to us achieving our goals.

When Disruptive Advertising says they keep their employees on top of industry trends - they genuinely mean it! We are in several betas, some who've yielded impressive results, that were it not for their continual push to be the best, we wouldn't have otherwise known about. 

Additionally, I want to highlight the quality of their teams. Going above and beyond is their modus operandi! From account managers Angelica & Tim to the team members like Bronson, Kaden, Lexi, Jesse, Amy, Mandy, Sammy, Summer, Caitlin, & many more - all our collaborations have been stellar.

It's tough to think of areas Disruptive Advertising could improve - it would be their current dashboard/analytics tool if I had to call something out.
