I'm the Marketing and Commercial Director and Co-Founder of G&C Ltd., a manufacturing company in Greece. Our company creates products and provides high tech solutions relating to software and hardware.

What challenge were you trying to address with Dimicro S.A.?

We needed to develop a new web application.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We provided the requirements, including functionalities, for the app to Dimicro S.A. After initial analysis, they provided specifications for the project and then created the architecture of the application.

They presented all of the information to us, comparing the advantages of using certain technologies and options over others. The platform was developed using HTML, JavaScript, and another database for the backend.

What is the team composition?

We worked with about 7 people in total on this project: a project manager, a project lead for the development team, and 5 developers.

How did you come to work with Dimicro S.A.?

They were referred to me by a colleague. After meeting with them, they inspired us with confidence that they could deliver the results we wanted. That became even more apparent during initial stages of the project.

How much have you invested with them?

The budget was around €60.000-70.000 (about $74,000-86,000 USD).

What is the status of this engagement?

The project lasted from September 2016 to June 2017.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Internal user testing has been successful. Dimicro S.A. exceeded expectations. They're extremely knowledgeable of their work and managed to deliver something that was continuously optimized in terms of performance and user experience. The end result was far better than we envisioned during the concept of the design phase.

How did Dimicro S.A. perform from a project management standpoint?

They delivered in a timely manner and did a great job during the analysis stage. There weren't any surprises. They gave us an accurate perspective of the total cost of ownership and timeline, which is rarely the case with other I.T. professionals. Dimicro's quality of work saved us from additional expenses and delays.

As a completely new concept, they took an Agile approach to the project and maintained quick response times throughout. They utilized a project management tool, so we could provide feedback in a structured manner. We also had in-person meetings and could call or Skype them when needed—All means of communication were available to us in order to complete the project.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They're not only tech-savvy, but also skilled in application architecture. Knowing how to write code in any programming language is quite different from structuring it into an entire architecture. They can do it all.

Are there any areas they could improve?

As a customer, nothing stands out.
