Both required a simple structured backend, minimal use of custom built code, leverage of relevant WP plugins to improve functionality, high level security and adherence with our Cybersecurity Policy, visibility in terms of usage (e.g. visitors to each site, frequency, relevant pages, etc), customisation with regards to saving Quick Links and flagging useful resources by user, logins per user not per organisation, different access levels and content depending on a user’s profile, and easy navigation and search. 

The following were also required:

• A feedback mechanism on any given page to collect information on how to improve user experience, e.g. Was this helpful.
• Taxonomy references to be used to provide meaningful results, e.g. search by topic.
• No duplication of content across the intranet.
• Show last modified date, author etc.
