I am the CEO of Energy Matters. Energy Matters is an award winning, Australian owned and operated company, that has helped thousands of Australians organise solar for their home since its inception in 2005.

As a founding member of the Clean Energy Council’s Approved Retailer program, Energy Matters prides itself on its long history and trusted name, one that consumers, installers & manufacturers know they can trust.

Today, Energy Matters is using that experience and expertise to help connect consumers to trusted local installers, providing 3 high quality solar quotes, as well as continuing to assist & educate on the renewable energy industry.

Our requirements are on-going but include:

1. SEO - solar & renewable search on Google
2. Website development & updating our content
3. Implementation of new digital programs
4. Writing blogs daily to educate consumers on current renewable and energy news

What were your goals for this project?

1) Page 1 for every solar related search term (within 3 months) and to achieve over 1500 solar leads per month 2) Completion date of <28 days from request to fulfilment 3) Goals are defined on a per-campaign basis 4) Daily with 5-6 blogs per week

How did you select this vendor?

Digital Eagles were already in place when I took over as CEO - they were referred to one of the shareholders. They were selected over several other options due to a number of factors, with the primary being their flexibility, quality of work, TEAM approach to problem-solving and creative thinking.

We have several champions within their organisation with each individual responsible for a component of the digital marketing mix - this is prefaced with a monthly (and as needed) brainstorm to prioritise the month ahead and tasks to be worked on / ideas to be implemented.

With every campaign we bring to the table, their team is always full of ideas and articulate with their approach to extracting the brief, whilst further developing the concept throughout this process.

What was the team composition?

I consistently work with at least 4 of the team and 6 so far... everyone is in the loop with the scope of work being undertaken and able to delegate tasks where required.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

I have witnessed increases of 20% of our core business goals during COVID-19 which ordinarily would have been a period of consolidation... whilst this didn't surprise me, I was very impressed with the outcome. New campaigns are being launched consistently and tweaked as required until operating as they should be.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The project lead is fantastic to work with and communicates daily.... we feel like a very valued client!!

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Super impressed with their accessibility, creativity, quality of work and willingness to take on new projects. Digital Eagles have literally become our one-stop-shop for all of our Digital Marketing needs and eliminated the need for me to resource or recruit internally.... I hope this continues!!

Are there any areas for improvement?

Given the incredibly fast paced nature of how I work and my lack of patience, it would unfair to criticise. I have seen tasks taken on quickly, developed and realistic timeframes achieved to complete. So far, so good ?

It' s hard to go into complete detail without breaking confidentiality. However, some of our clients have had tremendous success with their new websites and it looks as though the DE team is growing.
