I’m the senior project manager for a pharmaceuticals company.

We needed someone to develop a platform for us to connect with the public.

How did you select DigiGround and what were the deciding factors?

A former team member of ours referred us to DigiGround. They suggested DigiGround as an option to help us to achieve our platform goals.

DigiGround developed our web-based management platform. We provided some documentation, and their team was involved from the planning and user requirements phases all the way through to the development and testing. During the development itself, DigiGround helped with creating more robust documentation.

There were a lot of software developers working on the system at one time, though we had a main point of contact.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The program DigiGround has developed has been received well by the pharmaceuticals industry. This approach was cost-effective for us. Having done this initial work with DigiGround, we are now also comfortable working with them for the next phase of our project.

One of the many great things about DigiGround is that they communicate very well. They’re also very accessible and accommodating. They’re easy to work with, and we can always get a hold of them, even after business hours.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their software development skills are second to none. My whole team is very impressed with DigiGround and the talent that they’ve brought in. We get lots of requests from our clients about adding new features, integrating with different platforms, and building out new functionalities.

DigiGround is always able to find a solution for any idea that we bring to the table. They also give great suggestions for design requirements.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

There is always room for improvement but overall we were satisfied with our end product.

Digiground designed and developed my 3 websites. They provided various drafts for me to review in the initial stage, and once we went live, they have continued to monitor and amend the sites on a needs basis.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

I have seen a progressive increase in site traffic and overall higher search rankings.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

I was allocated a dedicated developer as my point of contact and we coordinated together and still do. This has been very effective as I have to make regular updates and amendments to the sites.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They keep the customer at the forefront and have always been available when I need them. Their support and ongoing service is excellent. They are happy to adapt when need be and are always very timely which is most important as I am in the media which changes continually.

I had initially another company design my first site and they were argumentative, disagreeable and provided a low standard of work. Digiground picked up the pieces and offered me ideas and suggestions and sound advise.

Are there any areas for improvement?

One suggestion is for any technical reporting etc to presented in a simple and straightforward format, so the inexperienced can gain a better understanding.

Custom database for backend with tie-in to WordPress and WooCommerce. React Native for app development with NFC functionality. Website, app and overall brand design work.

MVP delivered.

Offer to work directly in-house with their team. Cloud based software from both Microsoft and Google for planner, communication and content. Git for code development version control. Use of internal staging services and production deployment on AWS.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The ability to reallocate resources and man power when needed for sprints to meet a projected deadline. The friendly and positive work environment is impressive.
