While the overall experience was excellent, enhanced scalability planning during the initial architecture phase and more frequent performance benchmarking could further strengthen their already solid delivery model. These additions would support even greater long-term growth and optimization.

We didn't have an ERP system and relied on manual resources for job submissions. We reached out to Devinity Solutions to develop an ERP system for us.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Initially, we shared our business requirements with Devinity Solutions, and they assembled a team of skilled professionals to design and develop a comprehensive ERP system from scratch. The project manager oversees the entire project and ensures the team meets deadlines. They communicate directly with our team to ensure alignment with the requirements and goals we set for them.

Devinity Solutions' backend developers have been responsible for the backend deployment of the ERP system using Python, ensuring scalability, data integrity, and security. The frontend developers have worked on building the system's UI using React and JavaScript, ensuring it is responsive, scalable, and easy for us to manage. Additionally, we've collaborated with database engineers to store all the data we have now and in the future.

Devinity Solutions focuses on designing and managing PostgreSQL, ensuring the data is structured efficiently to support real-time synchronization between the front- and backend without slowing down performance. The development engineers have deployed the system on AWS per our requirements, ensuring security, scalability, and availability while optimizing performance and reliability.

Devinity Solutions' QA engineers check the system for performance and bugs, ensuring everything goes smoothly, including real-time data synchronization.

Devinity Solutions helped us with the beta version, and we did a couple of tests together until we came up with the final ERP solution. Their team currently provides us with annual maintenance and upgrades.

We're working with 15–20 people, including QA engineers, DevOps engineers, development engineers, database engineers, frontend developers, and backend developers. We have separate teams for front- and backend development. Our in-house project manager coordinates with Devinity Solutions' project manager.

Devinity Solutions pays attention to our requirements and meets deadlines. Since we had the ERP system developed, our downtime has been reduced, and efficiency has improved. Overall, our performance has increased a lot.

We raise tickets through Jira, and they resolve issues within 24 hours. We use Jira and Trello, communicate via Slack, and have regular Zoom and Microsoft Teams meetings. Devinity Solutions is cost-effective compared to other service providers.

I’m the chief supply officer at Gaper, a remote staff augmentation company. We provide remote resources to clients worldwide. Our platform has an extensive vetting process, which I lead. Customers come to us and say they need a software engineer, and we provide them with a list of people to interview.

We needed a technology partner for our staff augmentation business model.

Devinity Solutions provides us with software engineers. Whenever we see a skill that our customer needs, we contact Devinity Solutions. We tell them the request and ask if they have the right resources. If they’re available, we do the vetting process again with their people. If it’s a proper match, we send their resources to the customers, and the other process starts. Recently, we got an AI specialist who connects APIs with OpenAI and ChatGPT.

We work with around six teammates from Devinity Solutions, including our main point of contact.

How did you come to work with Devinity Solutions?

Our CEO recommended them to me. They were also from the same university as me, so we had a connection. We started with them because they had a full-stack software engineer. We worked with him for over a year, and then we started getting more people from them, like front- and backend engineers. That was how the engagement started.

Devinity Solutions is good and responsive. We have a lot of trust in their software engineers. If we’re stuck somewhere or can’t find good people, we know that if we send them, they’ll crack it.

We communicate via Slack and Trello. We have different SDRs and project coordinators on our side, and we have a monthly call with their team. If their software engineers have any issues, they can come to us.

Their software engineers are good. We can trust and rely on them, and they’ll deliver the solution.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They’re a young company, and sometimes they lose focus. They could earn and grow more if they had more focus.

If you want good software engineers around the .NET, MERN, or AI tech stacks, and if you want them to work remotely under your supervision, you should go for them.
