Design Monks LLC is a full-service UI/UX design agency, working with brands across 7 countries, from early-stage startups shipping their first product to established names like Goldman Sachs, Pepsi, Viber, and Y Combinator-backed companies. With a team of 50+ designers, strategists, and project managers, the agency handles the kind of work that actually moves businesses forward, not just design that looks good in a portfolio.
Our services span the full scope of digital product and brand design. UI/UX design, mobile app design, SaaS product interfaces, web design, logo and brand identity, Webflow development, and Framer design all fall under one roof.
No matter if you are building from scratch or trying to fix what already exists, Design Monks has worked in enough industries and at enough stages to know how to approach it well. The way our team works is where things tend to stand out.
Every project begins with genuine discovery, understanding the users, the competitive space, and what the client is actually trying to achieve, before a single design decision gets made.
From there, the process moves through wireframing, prototyping, and iterative design with the client actively involved throughout, not just called in at the end to approve something. AI tools are integrated into the workflow to sharpen decisions, compress timelines, and reduce the kind of guesswork that usually causes unnecessary revisions. Clients consistently point to transparency as one of the things that keeps them coming back.
There's always a dedicated point of contact, structured updates, and clear documentation at every stage, so no one is ever left wondering what's happening with their project.
For startups that need to move fast, SaaS companies building scalable systems, or growing brands that need their identity to finally match where they're headed, Design Monks brings both the craft and the strategic thinking to make it happen.

The client also received positive feedback about the new design, with users reporting that they now understood the user journey better.

I am the CEO of Onethread.
Describe what your company does in a single sentence.
We are a project management software startup.

To redesign 70% of our user journey
Develop both the UX & UI for a lot of the features

High ratings

Great culture fit
Good value for cost
Company values aligned
How many teammates from Design Monks were assigned to this project?
2-5 Employees
Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.
Design Monk went deep into researching a lot of our competitors to set up a bench market of what is happening in the market. After that, they did a thorough analysis of Onethread to figure out a lot of the issues we had. Then, we first went with the overall flow and made some major changes in the user journey.
Once that was done, they, along with our team, worked on each of the features. They'd develop a basic wireframe first, show us that, we'd give feedback, and then we'd finalize the wireframe. Then, basically, repeat the whole process for the UI as well. So it was a back-and-forth but they were very cooperative the whole way through and took all the comments from the founders, devs, and designers to make the design more comprehensive. Once we finalized one feature only, then they moved to another.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Although we have not yet been able to implement the full design due to our commitments to some clients, the new design feedback has been amazing. In the parts where we implemented the design, around 20-40% better retention of those pages. Users understand the journey significantly more now. We are hoping for a significant drop in churn when we implement the full design.
Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?
They were always very open and understanding of our requirements. Even at times, when we changed our minds on something we had previously developed due to external feedback, they still incorporated that. The project took slightly more time than expected, but that was down to the changes we wanted to make, and it eventually made a scope slightly bigger than initially planned.
What was your primary form of communication with Design Monks?
Virtual Meeting
Email or Messaging App
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Well cultured, easy to communicate and their sincerity in their job. Didn't seem like I was using a 3rd party team. Their dedication is like they are our in-house team.
Are there any areas for improvement or something Design Monks could have done differently?
Not really. I am pretty happy with how they conducted the whole thing.

The client submitted this review online.
BACKGROUND
Please describe your company and your position there.
I was thinking about starting a pilot project regarding Food Reviews. I found a team who worked in this team and gave it the name. So you can call me the founder of this team.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
For what projects/services did your company hire Atiq's Pixels?
Basically, it was a Food Review website where people can see food ratings, restaurant ratings, and share their ratings. We do not have any UI/UX designers on our team. That's why we hired Atiq's Pixel.
What were your goals for this project?
We wanted to build a user-friendly website for food lovers and build a platform where everyone can choose the best food and restaurants. And our plan was to make some premium features and earn from it.
SOLUTION
How did you select Atiq's Pixels?
I was searching for an experienced UI/UX designer. Then one of my friends referred Atiq's Pixels. Then I visited their website that was cool and checked out their works. And I was totally impressed. Then contacted them and made a deal.
Describe the project in detail.
In this project, we included the following features:
User can see others' reviews on different foods
User can see others' reviews on different restaurants
User can give ratings to food or restaurants
Can see the menu list of a restaurant
Also the trending dishes
Our app suggested food based on weather
User can follow each other
What was the team composition?
We had 2 backend developers, 1 frontend developer, and 2 UI?UX Designer (From Atiq's Pixel)
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Yeah, we launched the project and it was pretty much successful as a pilot project. We are eager to take it in market. For that, we need some investment and we are working on it. But, in the end, I think that we are successful.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Yeah... It was pretty good. And all were possible for Atiq's Pixel. Because at the beginning of the project, they gathered all the requirements from us and built a wireframe for the whole project. That's why we could easily build our backend and didn't wait for the full mockup. And the collaboration between frontend, backend, and UI/UX was smooth.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
The process of their approach to a problem. In my opinion, UI/UX is one of the important factors in a business. But most of the company don't give importance to it. But, this company is different. They are very focused on the design as well as usability. And they are very proactive. The designs they provide are up to the mark. And in every project, at first, they build a wireframe. And I think, this wireframe makes the life of developers easier.
Are there any areas for improvement?
I think they are very good at this field. And their design solutions are also practical. And I saw, they researched a lot about new design types. So my wish will be for them is "Keep going as now. Soon you will reach the top. Best of luck."

We hired Atiq's Pixels to design user interface of the mobile application version of our product. Furthermore, We also developed detailed User Experience flow of the app.
What were your goals for this project?
Our goal was to penetrate local small business stores and give them an online communication system to reach their potential customers. For this, we really needed a design system that can be easily browsable by people of different ages and background.
SOLUTION
How did you select Atiq's Pixels?
We browsed various design websites to get some inspiration of how should our mobile application look. We found Atiq's profile in Behance, which is network of creative people. We reviewed Atiq's Pixels previous work and we contacted him. We liked his approach to work and hired him.
Describe the project in detail.
Once we selected Atiq's Pixels to implement our design systems, they immediately started to work on the mockup and wireframing. We discussed our ideas in first couple of weeks and from there they really brought the ideas into visual shape. We're provided with users journey at first. Then we finalized the wireframing of different screens within the first 2 week.
The team of Atiq's Pixels have really did outstanding work on designing the UI of the mobile application that really suites our users demographic. The design system took 4 more weeks to complete. So it took roughly 2 months to complete the project with Atiq's Pixels.

Our project is still in the early MVP stage. We've introduced our mobile application to very few merchants. The design system that was developed for us by Atiq's Pixel was really top-notch and helped us introduce the features of the application more easily. So far the feedback we got have been amazing but still we have long way to go.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
We communicated directly with project managers and other designers of the team with no friction. Our ideas and concerns are greatly appreciated by the team behind Atiq's Pixels. We have sprints in every week and the outcome of these were outstanding. The final product has a lot of our combined ideas implemented.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
I really liked how they took on the challenge head on. The challenge of this project was daunting as there are lots of demography at play but they really researched different methods and styles and finally really cracked the perfect design. I loved the transparency they demonstrated during the project lifetime. If somethings were not working or delayed, they were always upfront.
Are there any areas for improvement?
We got little behind with the deadline of this project. So we hope in future, the projects will be completed earlier.

Atiqur Rahaman handled UI/UX design services for an online shopping platform. The team created a visually pleasing and user-friendly design for the client's mobile application.
The client was very happy with the new design, which met all the aesthetic features and user-friendy aspects that they asked for. Whenever there were issues, Atiqur Rahaman was quick to resolve them. The team's responsiveness also ensured that everyone was always updated on the project's progress.
The client submitted this review online.
BACKGROUND
Please describe your company and your position there.
I am a co-founder of an online shopping assistant service. It is located in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
For what projects/services did your company hire Atiqur Rahaman?
For our mobile applications for the delivery men and customers, we hired Atiq. These mobile applications were crucial for building up a proper pipeline for customers and deliverymen to interact with each other properly as well as the customer managers could watch over issues.
What were your goals for this project?
The goals were to create a solution from where customers can order products online, which we don't store rather we have deliverymen who shop those products on behalf of the customers and then delivers them to their doorstep within 1 hour.
SOLUTION
How did you select Atiqur Rahaman?
Our requirements were simple, we wanted a person who could solve UX issues and create a overall working and aesthetically pleasing user interface for application users. We filtered candidates based on their work experience and their quality of works. Atiq had worked on really interesting projects before and his quality of works made it easier for us to choose him.
Describe the project in detail.
We had idea of creating two mobile applications and one admin dashboard. From the customer end mobile application, the customers can browse and order products online. Then comes the part of the deliveryman application. A nearby deliveryman will accept the request for the delivery. Hence the delivery status would get updated from pending to confirmed. Then the user can track the deliveryman as well as see the status.
And for the deliveryman it was very important to see the product list properly with picture and description along with the delivery location. After buying the products the delivery man would drop the item in the doorstep of the customer and take a picture as a proof of the delivery which then gets uploaded the applications and the admin can monitor them.
What was the team composition?
Our team was very atomic. We had two software engineers who were building the applications and admin dashboard for us. One project manager, one customer manager, and one UI/UX designer.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
So we started by taking small step at a time. And developed the applications within times. The solution provided by Atiq was very easy to understand and simple enough to implement within a very short time. The users understood most of the things very well while using our application. There were a few issues where the users failed to understand, later on Atiq provided solutions for us to fix those issues.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
We used to use Slack and Jira to communicate and manage tasks. Atiq was present in onsite or online meetings through google meets. He has great communication skills as well as skills to make others understand his vision. Overall it was easier for us since he used to think about many problems that may occur in the future and how can we tackle them.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
His straightforward communication and punctuality would make him unique as a person along with his design skills. He is a very thoughtful person, thinks before he acts. His work was very professional and organized.
Are there any areas for improvement?
I don't have any rough experience with him. But still I would recommend him to keep him up to date with the design trends and utilize new patterns to solve interesting issues.
