Our mobile application is a platform for ‘proximity-based triggering events, utilizing a user-facing, native mobile app and a backend website for system administration. There will be two main ‘types’ of these reminders. Reminder lists for stores, which can be shared among users & Peer-to-Peer reminders. Both can be geospatial based / activated. The app will allow its users to create, share, and maintain lists of items that they will be reminded of when in proximity to that store or user. All items available within the mobile app will be managed by the system administrator via a separate website.

We had an overall project manager, a UX analyst, a UI/UX designer, a web developer, an Android app developer and an iOS app developer.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We have been able to include a very large number of stores and products in our app that is far greater than other apps in this industry. User testing has been showing a very positive response which gives us the confidence that our app will be very successful when it launches officially very soon.

The overall project manager set us up on their online project management system. It has been great to be able to keep all the stages of our project. Our developers and designers have been keeping us up to date with this system.

They developed the hardware, the web application and the iOS and Android mobile apps for us. The hardware they created are sensors used to monitor a wide variety of things for the transport industry. The sensors can monitor speed, acceleration, elevation, breakdown, GPS route coordinates, and then transmit all the data through the cellular network. Our clients can see all the data points within the centralized application control panel to fully monitor their cargo. Their team did a lot of initial research and were able to suggest hardware components and sensors that would be the best configurations that would reduce the costs during mass production. They helped us figure out the best components that are reliable, durable and cost effective, so the total hard costs for each finished sensor goes down, and profits go up. They were able to bring the total cost of each unit down by 21%. They were creative while building the prototype sensors, which they were able to do quickly within a couple months. The software they created to run and monitor the sensors uses the latest cutting-edge technology, and connects our industry to the Internet of Things, which is fast, efficient, responsive and very well designed.

Our team consisted of a very experienced and qualified hardware architect who had a PhD degree in Electrical engineering, system design engineers, UI/UX designers, highly skilled web and mobile app developers, a quality assurance analyst and a project manager.

Due to funding, we are building the app in phases. The first phase does not have all the features that the completed version will have, but Dedicated Developers exceeded our expectations with the original version of the app and completed all deliverables on time.

The workflow was smooth and easy. The database used was simple to use and I could easily view the progress of the app. I was also able to upload any documents or ask any questions I had through the database. I always received a timely response.

I am the director of marketing at Demand Products Inc. in Atlanta, Georgia. We sell construction hand tools that are used in the eaves and siding business to put in stucco finishes on buildings. In addition, we sell large machines that are used to cut polyurethane foam.

We have not gone live with the site yet because we have some back-end work to complete, but it’s a light-years advancement for us. The previous site was hard to look at, but the new one is very current with today’s technology and is easily navigable.

They Dedicated Developers team has exceptional project management skills. They are always available via phone or email and have a great response time. We also used Webex during conference calls so they could walk us through their exact designs. That led to very thorough discussions.
