Introduce your business and what you do there.

I'm a senior UI/UX designer at GWVS GmbH, a company that develops digital tools for Telis Finanz to deliver financial consulting services.

We needed help developing four corporate websites. Our primary objectives were to ensure full accessibility compliance, modernize the UX, and create a consistent, high-quality digital presence across all sites.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

unicrew has handled the technical implementation of our four corporate websites. Their scope has included front-end and back-end development, accessibility implementation, responsive layout execution, integration of the content we provided, setup of analytics tracking, and thorough technical QA. We've worked with 2–5 teammates from unicrew.

How did you come to work with unicrew?

We chose them because I had experience with the company and were impressed by their quality.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them in March 2025, and our engagement is ongoing.

What did you find most impressive about them?

What we've been most impressed with about unicrew is their reliability, clear communication, and the consistently high quality of their work. They've listened carefully to our needs, been extremely pleasant to collaborate with, and handled every task with professionalism and attention to detail.

There's nothing they could improve on.

BACKGROUND

Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the managing director of QUEO Gmbh, a company that develops individual software products. We have 30 employees.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with unicrew?

We needed help with recruitment. We also needed some assistance managing a project for an end client.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

unicrew provided us with recruitment and HR services. They sent us a couple of profiles of available applicants and organized the interviews and screening process with us. They also helped us create job descriptions and identify key candidates. We were looking for a Java developer with backend skills in Spring Boot and a good level of English.

Moreover, unicrew was involved in the onboarding process. They checked in with the employee during the first days and talked with us when we had some problems.

What is the team composition?

We mainly spoke with our contract account manager. There was also a project manager who was more involved in the project and the applicant.

How did you come to work with unicrew?

unicrew contacted us via email about two years ago. After that, we had a talk online and met a couple of months later. We started working on the project together.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent around €40,000–€50,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together on this project from October 2024–March 2025. We’re currently paused but plan to work together again.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

unicrew successfully found a candidate for us. The team also provided a good service around the onboarding process and the contract. Overall, the services were very good. unicrew had fine solutions when problems came up. It was a pleasant experience working together.

How did the company perform from a project management standpoint?

unicrew met deadlines and stayed on budget. They responded very fast, and their communication was very good. They also kept the expected time slots all the time. We used Jira for project management and communicated via email, Zoom, Google Meet, and Microsoft Teams.

What did you find most impressive about them?

unicrew worked from Ukraine and Poland and was able to create candidates and send them to us for a fair price.

Are there any areas they could improve?

It wasn’t easy to complete the logistics, but I don’t know if they could have done anything better. Due to the conflict, the candidate found it quite difficult to get a laptop into Ukraine.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Take care of the timings and think about how long it will take to get somebody into the project. It will take a little bit longer than getting somebody from your own country into the project. However, unicrew had good communication and took care of the problems by finding solutions.

BACKGROUND

Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the CTO of a science tech company in the sustainability measurement industry. Our company lets customers calculate the carbon footprint of food production, especially for chickens and pigs. The process starts with sourcing the feed for the animals and goes through the farm to the slaughterhouse. For this whole chain, we calculate the carbon footprint and 15 other environmental factors, such as water and land use.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with unicrew?

We hired unicrew for their development resources. Since we're a small startup, quickly getting resources and scaling them down is essential.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We've hired three full stack developers and one UI/UX designer from unicrew to help us with the engineering part of our SaaS platform. We already had a legacy application that needed rebuilding, so we've reviewed the documentation and gotten the requirements. unicrew has come into the existing product, but they've done many parts from scratch, like the API.

The team leverages React for frontend development, Next.js for the backend, and Neo4j for the graph database.

What is the team composition?

We work with four teammates from Unicrew.

How did you come to work with Unicrew?

When I came to the company, it was almost decided to go with unicrew. Our company founders had the team on their list and were already working with them on another venture. As I took my role, I had two companies to review, and I decided to go with unicrew because they seemed more professional and appealing.

How much have you invested with them?

We've invested almost €200,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with unicrew in May 2024, and the engagement is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We've seen enhanced customer satisfaction thanks to unicrew's work. Our customers love the UI and speed of the application. We've received positive feedback, and there are no errors in the system. We only fix minor UI bugs, which aren't worth mentioning.

How did Unicrew perform from a project management standpoint?

unicrew meets their deadlines and stays on budget. They've finished the API on time, even with tight deadlines. We maintain our project management system and use Shortcut, similar to Jira. Since we're a small team, I take on the role of project manager and Scrum master.

We communicate via email, Discord, and regular stand-up video calls.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We're impressed by the quality of developers that unicrew provides. They return with two or three high-quality developers when we need another resource. We've had difficulty choosing between them because they're all so good. This has been nice because we've had to filter out candidates with the agencies we've worked with before. unicrew's developers are outstanding.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There's nothing we'd have them improve.

BACKGROUND

Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the founder of a company that works in the diabetes and personal health management space.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with unicrew?

We needed support with software development and maintenance.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

The team at unicrew has been helping us with ongoing software development and maintenance. We brought them into an existing software system, and they've come on board to help further the development and handle maintenance. The key technologies they've used include .NET and TypeScript. They've also added functionality to the software.

What is the team composition?

We work with around four people from unicrew, including the CTO, developers, and project managers.

How did you come to work with unicrew?

I found unicrew through a Google search.

How much have you invested with them?

We've spent around $20,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We've been working with unicrew since June 2024, and the engagement is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The team’s work has been great, and we haven’t had any issues relating to their work.

How did unicrew perform from a project management standpoint?

The team stays on budget and meets deadlines. We have a great deal of confidence in their team because of how they handle project management. We speak to the same people each time, so we’re able to build rapport. Communication is incredibly fast, and they use Jira and GitHub for project management. For day-to-day communication, they use Google Meet and email.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We’re one of unicrew’s smaller clients, but they’re always incredibly quick to respond. When we have issues, they treat them as if they’re extremely important. We feel like we have a partner, and that’s been incredible. That’s why we’ll keep them on for as long as we can.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don’t have any areas for improvement.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I’d unequivocally tell someone to work with unicrew. I have experience working with remote teams, and unicrew is top-notch, absolutely professional, and very capable. They’re one of my favorite teams to work with.

BACKGROUND

Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m a team lead and partner at a cloud company focused on Microsoft cloud solutions. My team develops collaboration platforms, which usually involve customization and software development. We have 13 software developers who consult our customers about using tools like Microsoft Teams and Microsoft SharePoint. We customize the tools and develop visualizations and automation to make things easier, digitize processes, and sometimes even full stack development that interacts with the systems the customer already has.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Artelogic?

We needed a partner to support us on bigger projects where we needed additional developers to scale.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

I wanted to work with a small team because it took me time to prepare to work with a new team. We started with one software developer because we wanted specialized solutions for our customers. Having a contact person at Artelogic who knew us and our customers made sense. The developer was part of our team and worked on the project rather than in the background, supporting our software development projects.

Artelogic went through a recruiting process to hire the developer who worked on our project, and we interviewed different candidates. Artelogic supported automation in the Microsoft SharePoint project to automatically translate in a specific use case. We created the design and high-level architecture, and Artelogic implemented the automation based on Azure functions developed in Visual Studio.

The team used web standards or frameworks in Microsoft 365 to authorize and authenticate securely between the different systems. Artelogic also used C#, .NET 8, and packages related to Microsoft SharePoint, such as the MSAL and PNP frameworks.

What is the team composition?

We worked with one developer from Artelogic.

How did you come to work with Artelogic?

Artelogic contacted us via email because they thought they could help us. I liked how the team communicated in the early stages; it was professional. Artelogic took time to ask questions but was polite and not too aggressive. We had several companies in close call, but Artelogic seemed the best fit for what we were looking for.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent between €10,000–€50,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from May–September 2024. Our end client decided to stop the project.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Artelogic helped us get the solution live, and our customer was happy.

How did Artelogic perform from a project management standpoint?

Project management was on our side, but the software development tasks were managed well. Communication was open, and Artelogic responded quickly. Even though there were some technically difficult tasks, the communication was good. The developer participated in the team meetings, which we had twice a week via Microsoft Teams. There were additional one-to-one meetings or project-based meetings depending on the phase of the project. Timeframes were held.
Are there any employees from the service provider's team that you would like to give a shout-out to in this review?

Vladyslav performed well, and I really liked working with him.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The most important thing was Artelogic's good communication.

Are there any areas they could improve?

It could help if a teammate from Artelogic spoke German professionally. Most of our customers speak English, so it wasn’t a problem, but it could be an improvement.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

If the company is already used to working with external parties, freelancers, and large projects, they will do it better than I did. I think hearing Artelogic’s advice and planning it professionally is good. Have everything in place before you start work, have capacity planning to involve customers as early as possible, and plan the steps you have to take on an organizational level.

BACKGROUND

Introduce your business and what you do there.

I'm the founder and president of a B2B SaaS company.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenges were you trying to address with Artelogic?

We needed a programming team to support our overall web development. Our goal was to have faster and safer development.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Artelogic has become our programming team. The team provides staff augmentation services and is responsible for web development, new feature development, and streamlining our server usage. We've had a fully functioning business website that has existed for over a decade, and we've had a transition period when we started working with Artelogic. We required a broad range of skills, including experience with PHP, AWS, and Heroku. In addition, Artelogic has helped us scope future projects involving AI.

What was the team composition?

We have three main points of contact from Artelogi:g a developer, a business manager, and a project manager.

How did you come to work with Artelogic?

One of my team members had worked with Artelogic on a previous project and was very impressed by them. He recommended I talk with the team, and I chose Artelogic because of their professionalism and the referral from someone who had previously worked with them. When I first spoke to the team, the pricing was higher than I had hoped, but it turned out that Artelogic could work much faster than our previous service provider. Ultimately, the team wound up costing us less or at least the same.

How much have you invested with them?

We've spent around $30,000–$40,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with Artelogic in December 2023, and the engagement is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Artelogic has diverse experience because they have several professionals on their staff. Artelogic has enabled us to develop and roll out products significantly faster than our previous service provider. The team has great knowledge of AWS and Heroku, which has helped us streamline and reduce costs. Artelogic has helped us reduce our AWS costs by 30% or more. When we started working with the team, they helped us have a smooth transition.

How did Artelogic perform from a project management standpoint?

Artelogic delivers work on time and has excellent communication skills. We use a combination of Jira and WhatsApp for project management and communication.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Artelogic does a very good job of delivering and following up on work. I'm pleased with the team's ability to complete work requirements.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can't see any massive areas where Artelogic needs improvement.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

When starting a project like this, give any new programming team as much information as possible, particularly if you have been working with a previous team. The best thing you can do is make sure you have conduits to move institutional knowledge into the new team. Other than that, Artelogic meets their promises, so I recommend trusting the process.

BACKGROUND

Introduce your business and what you do there.

I'm the general manager of a software company that I founded with two of my brothers in 2005. We started this company focusing on developing custom software solutions. Over time, we switched to developing only one software solution, which we now offer as a SaaS. This product is an ERP system with an online shop functionality.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Artelogic?

We hired Artelogic to expand our development team. We were working on rewriting our software's frontend back in 2019, but we had limited capabilities, so we decided to hire an external developer to speed up the development process.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Two developers from Artelogic have joined our team: a frontend developer and a backend developer. These developers work with us on our ERP software. For example, the frontend developer is remodeling the whole frontend side of our software. Additionally, the backend developer has worked with our head of software development and other members of our team on developing custom features. As for the technology stack, we use TypeScript and LitElement for the frontend development.

Initially, Artelogic figured out what we needed by joining our candidate interviews and refining the profile for future candidates. During this process, we had several interviews with candidates, during which Artelogic learned our requirements. They eventually improved their recommendations based on what they learned, which worked well for us.

What is the team composition?

We work with a frontend developer and a backend developer from Artelogic. During the first phase of our collaboration, we were in touch with Artelogic's customer success managers, who helped us search for the right developers for our project. Since then, we have worked directly with the developers on a day-to-day basis, and we only connect with Artelogic's management from time to time.

How much have you invested with them?

We've spent around €70,000–€80,000 (approximately $76,000–$87,000 USD).

What is the status of this engagement?

Our partnership with Arelogic started in September 2023, and it is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Artelogic's developers are very good. Engaging them to expand our team has worked well.

How did Artelogic perform from a project management standpoint?

Artelogic is very responsive to our questions, and they proactively ask if everything is going well and if there's something they can do to improve their service. They're very interested in having a good partnership, which is very good. We communicate via email and video calls, but mainly video calls.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The work ethic of Artelogic's developers is very good, and they're very professional in their job execution. For example, they frequently offer reports, track their times accurately, and keep track of their activities in version control frequently. Basically, they always track what they're working on.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can't think of anything Artelogic could improve on; they're very good.

Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?

We've worked with other companies similar to Artelogic, and they weren't as good as Artelogic has been. Thus, I can only recommend getting in contact with Artelogic and see if they're a good fit for you.

BACKGROUND

Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the CTO of Open Room Inc., a Japanese company that focuses on real estate and has been operating for six years.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Artelogic?

We were trying to launch our company to the market by introducing a new product. The real estate market in Japan is a bit outdated technologically speaking; most companies still use paper, fax machines, and other outdated processes.

Thus, we were trying to create a website with image processing and AI capabilities so that we could process and digitalize paper documents and images in a way that made sense. Although we did the development work in-house, we didn’t have enough workforce to test the features and ensure a good quality of our software. Therefore, we hired Artelogic to do that for us.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Artelogic provided us with testing services and takes care of our QA process. Given that we’re a very small team, we didn’t have a lot of time to do additional work, so we were lacking documentation. Still, Artelogic dived right into our product and explored it. We were there for them to answer questions and help them understand our work, especially because everything is in Japanese.

What is the team composition?

I worked with two managers and a testing engineer from Artelogic.

How did you come to work with Artelogic?

We found them on Upwork while looking for testing engineers.

How much have you invested with them?

We paid them around $4,000 per month.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together around February 2023. Unfortunately, we just put our engagement on hold because we ran into some financial issues. Still, we hope to resume our contract as soon as possible.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Artelogic’s work had a very positive impact on our team’s morale. As our development quality was improving, our engineers were more confident in what they were doing, allowing them to work faster and with more confidence. As a result, our releases took less time and were less stressful.

Moreover, Artelogic’s work freed a lot of time for everyone on our team. Before this engagement, we even had our business team involved in the testing side as well. After working with Artelogic, we were able to focus on the announcement of upcoming features. Overall, their work made everyone more productive.

How did Artelogic perform from a project management standpoint?

We had no issues on the project management side. Everything was delivered as expected.

Are there any employees from the service provider's team that you would like to give a shout-out to in this review?

Ihor (Engineering Director) was great. He kept our communication open at all times and was very proactive in ensuring everything was good. He was excellent at listening to our feedback, and communicating with him was very easy. Thanks to him, I always knew what was happening on Artelogic’s side.

I would also like to give a shoutout to Olena (Software QA Engineer) because she was perfect for us. She was very autonomous and did a great-quality job, so we almost did nothing ourselves.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We really appreciated the fact that Artelogic was very autonomous and explored the product on their own.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can’t think of anything Artelogic could have improved on. Everything was great.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Don’t be afraid to ask for anything because Artelogic is very accommodating. If you think of anything that can improve your relationship, just say it.

BACKGROUND

Introduce your business and what you do there.

I'm the CEO of a cloud solutions company. Our company, founded 12 years ago, specializes in IT and R&D.

We're proud to be one of the first providers of global cloud-as-a-service solutions. Our presence spans 18 data centers on four continents in just four years.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Artelogic?

We ramped up our marketing efforts by focusing mainly on website development. We have explored ways to expand our development team through offshore solutions rather than relying only on internal R&D.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Our internal team sometimes requires additional assistance in various areas, including project planning and overcoming technical obstacles if the need arises. The Artelogic team provides valuable guidance and support, which significantly contributes to the development of our solution.

Artelogic contributes to the holistic solution. They know when and how to provide contributions to meet their professional obligations as they come up. They have met my need for an offshore unit, albeit on a smaller scale than I previously had.

What is the team composition?

There are three people from the team.

Are there any employees from the service provider's team that you would like to give a shout-out to in this review?

I want to highlight Oleksandr (Co-Founder & CTO). He's played a crucial role in bridging the gap to find a solution for us. We worked together to identify our team's needs, and he provided a flexible solution.

How did you come to work with Artelogic?

I considered Artelogic as a potential candidate for the job as I was familiar with them from my previous role.

I thought that their focus was only on Windows, but I was pleasantly surprised to find out that they also have knowledge of PHP. They were a natural choice for the position.

How much have you invested in them?

We have spent close to $75,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

The engagement with Artelogic began in September 2022, and it's ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We have a working and operating site. Although it has yet to launch, I am incredibly pleased.

The Artelogic team finished the project on time and within budget. Their work was of excellent quality, making the cost justified.

How did Artelogic perform from a project management standpoint?

The scope of the project management is essential in the solution. Good communication helps find better solutions.

Their project management shines in communication, finding the solution, and finding something that works.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Despite the ongoing war in Ukraine, they have consistently delivered their services.

I was impressed when I learned that despite having a small team, they could cater to our needs and provide a comprehensive solution. Artelogic has been delivering excellent value for our investment.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There's always room for improvement, but everything is going as expected without any surprises. I'm pleased with their quality.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

My recommendation is to be patient and communicate well. Define and share your needs, and give them time to adjust and find a solution.

Whether you need a solution for a large team of developers or a small group, they will create a customized solution to meet your needs. You will get a very solid and holistic solution.
