We worked together on this project from October 2024–March 2025. We’re currently paused but plan to work together again.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

unicrew successfully found a candidate for us. The team also provided a good service around the onboarding process and the contract. Overall, the services were very good. unicrew had fine solutions when problems came up. It was a pleasant experience working together.

How did the company perform from a project management standpoint?

unicrew met deadlines and stayed on budget. They responded very fast, and their communication was very good. They also kept the expected time slots all the time. We used Jira for project management and communicated via email, Zoom, Google Meet, and Microsoft Teams.

What did you find most impressive about them?

unicrew worked from Ukraine and Poland and was able to create candidates and send them to us for a fair price.

Are there any areas they could improve?

It wasn’t easy to complete the logistics, but I don’t know if they could have done anything better. Due to the conflict, the candidate found it quite difficult to get a laptop into Ukraine.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Take care of the timings and think about how long it will take to get somebody into the project. It will take a little bit longer than getting somebody from your own country into the project. However, unicrew had good communication and took care of the problems by finding solutions.

I’m the CTO of a science tech company in the sustainability measurement industry. Our company lets customers calculate the carbon footprint of food production, especially for chickens and pigs. The process starts with sourcing the feed for the animals and goes through the farm to the slaughterhouse. For this whole chain, we calculate the carbon footprint and 15 other environmental factors, such as water and land use.

We hired unicrew for their development resources. Since we're a small startup, quickly getting resources and scaling them down is essential.

We've hired three full stack developers and one UI/UX designer from unicrew to help us with the engineering part of our SaaS platform. We already had a legacy application that needed rebuilding, so we've reviewed the documentation and gotten the requirements. unicrew has come into the existing product, but they've done many parts from scratch, like the API.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We've seen enhanced customer satisfaction thanks to unicrew's work. Our customers love the UI and speed of the application. We've received positive feedback, and there are no errors in the system. We only fix minor UI bugs, which aren't worth mentioning.

How did Unicrew perform from a project management standpoint?

unicrew meets their deadlines and stays on budget. They've finished the API on time, even with tight deadlines. We maintain our project management system and use Shortcut, similar to Jira. Since we're a small team, I take on the role of project manager and Scrum master.

We communicate via email, Discord, and regular stand-up video calls.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We're impressed by the quality of developers that unicrew provides. They return with two or three high-quality developers when we need another resource. We've had difficulty choosing between them because they're all so good. This has been nice because we've had to filter out candidates with the agencies we've worked with before. unicrew's developers are outstanding.

There's nothing we'd have them improve.

The team’s work has been great, and we haven’t had any issues relating to their work.

How did unicrew perform from a project management standpoint?

The team stays on budget and meets deadlines. We have a great deal of confidence in their team because of how they handle project management. We speak to the same people each time, so we’re able to build rapport. Communication is incredibly fast, and they use Jira and GitHub for project management. For day-to-day communication, they use Google Meet and email.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We’re one of unicrew’s smaller clients, but they’re always incredibly quick to respond. When we have issues, they treat them as if they’re extremely important. We feel like we have a partner, and that’s been incredible. That’s why we’ll keep them on for as long as we can.

I don’t have any areas for improvement.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I’d unequivocally tell someone to work with unicrew. I have experience working with remote teams, and unicrew is top-notch, absolutely professional, and very capable. They’re one of my favorite teams to work with.

I’m a team lead and partner at a cloud company focused on Microsoft cloud solutions. My team develops collaboration platforms, which usually involve customization and software development. We have 13 software developers who consult our customers about using tools like Microsoft Teams and Microsoft SharePoint. We customize the tools and develop visualizations and automation to make things easier, digitize processes, and sometimes even full stack development that interacts with the systems the customer already has.

What was the scope of their involvement?

I wanted to work with a small team because it took me time to prepare to work with a new team. We started with one software developer because we wanted specialized solutions for our customers. Having a contact person at Artelogic who knew us and our customers made sense. The developer was part of our team and worked on the project rather than in the background, supporting our software development projects.

Artelogic went through a recruiting process to hire the developer who worked on our project, and we interviewed different candidates. Artelogic supported automation in the Microsoft SharePoint project to automatically translate in a specific use case. We created the design and high-level architecture, and Artelogic implemented the automation based on Azure functions developed in Visual Studio. 

The team used web standards or frameworks in Microsoft 365 to authorize and authenticate securely between the different systems. Artelogic also used C#, .NET 8, and packages related to Microsoft SharePoint, such as the MSAL and PNP frameworks.

Artelogic contacted us via email because they thought they could help us. I liked how the team communicated in the early stages; it was professional. Artelogic took time to ask questions but was polite and not too aggressive. We had several companies in close call, but Artelogic seemed the best fit for what we were looking for.

We worked together from May–September 2024. Our end client decided to stop the project.

How did Artelogic perform from a project management standpoint?

Project management was on our side, but the software development tasks were managed well. Communication was open, and Artelogic responded quickly. Even though there were some technically difficult tasks, the communication was good. The developer participated in the team meetings, which we had twice a week via Microsoft Teams. There were additional one-to-one meetings or project-based meetings depending on the phase of the project. Timeframes were held.
Are there any employees from the service provider's team that you would like to give a shout-out to in this review?

Vladyslav performed well, and I really liked working with him.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The most important thing was Artelogic's good communication.

Are there any areas they could improve?

It could help if a teammate from Artelogic spoke German professionally. Most of our customers speak English, so it wasn’t a problem, but it could be an improvement.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

If the company is already used to working with external parties, freelancers, and large projects, they will do it better than I did. I think hearing Artelogic’s advice and planning it professionally is good. Have everything in place before you start work, have capacity planning to involve customers as early as possible, and plan the steps you have to take on an organizational level.

Artelogic has diverse experience because they have several professionals on their staff. Artelogic has enabled us to develop and roll out products significantly faster than our previous service provider. The team has great knowledge of AWS and Heroku, which has helped us streamline and reduce costs. Artelogic has helped us reduce our AWS costs by 30% or more. When we started working with the team, they helped us have a smooth transition.

How did Artelogic perform from a project management standpoint?

Artelogic delivers work on time and has excellent communication skills. We use a combination of Jira and WhatsApp for project management and communication.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Artelogic does a very good job of delivering and following up on work. I'm pleased with the team's ability to complete work requirements. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can't see any massive areas where Artelogic needs improvement. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

When starting a project like this, give any new programming team as much information as possible, particularly if you have been working with a previous team. The best thing you can do is make sure you have conduits to move institutional knowledge into the new team. Other than that, Artelogic meets their promises, so I recommend trusting the process.

I'm the general manager of a software company that I founded with two of my brothers in 2005. We started this company focusing on developing custom software solutions. Over time, we switched to developing only one software solution, which we now offer as a SaaS. This product is an ERP system with an online shop functionality.

We hired Artelogic to expand our development team. We were working on rewriting our software's frontend back in 2019, but we had limited capabilities, so we decided to hire an external developer to speed up the development process.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Two developers from Artelogic have joined our team: a frontend developer and a backend developer. These developers work with us on our ERP software. For example, the frontend developer is remodeling the whole frontend side of our software. Additionally, the backend developer has worked with our head of software development and other members of our team on developing custom features. As for the technology stack, we use TypeScript and LitElement for the frontend development.

Initially, Artelogic figured out what we needed by joining our candidate interviews and refining the profile for future candidates. During this process, we had several interviews with candidates, during which Artelogic learned our requirements. They eventually improved their recommendations based on what they learned, which worked well for us.

Artelogic's developers are very good. Engaging them to expand our team has worked well.

How did Artelogic perform from a project management standpoint?

Artelogic is very responsive to our questions, and they proactively ask if everything is going well and if there's something they can do to improve their service. They're very interested in having a good partnership, which is very good. We communicate via email and video calls, but mainly video calls.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The work ethic of Artelogic's developers is very good, and they're very professional in their job execution. For example, they frequently offer reports, track their times accurately, and keep track of their activities in version control frequently. Basically, they always track what they're working on.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can't think of anything Artelogic could improve on; they're very good.

Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?

We've worked with other companies similar to Artelogic, and they weren't as good as Artelogic has been. Thus, I can only recommend getting in contact with Artelogic and see if they're a good fit for you.

I’m the CTO of Open Room Inc., a Japanese company that focuses on real estate and has been operating for six years.

What challenge were you trying to address with Artelogic?

We were trying to launch our company to the market by introducing a new product. The real estate market in Japan is a bit outdated technologically speaking; most companies still use paper, fax machines, and other outdated processes.

Thus, we were trying to create a website with image processing and AI capabilities so that we could process and digitalize paper documents and images in a way that made sense. Although we did the development work in-house, we didn’t have enough workforce to test the features and ensure a good quality of our software. Therefore, we hired Artelogic to do that for us.

Artelogic provided us with testing services and takes care of our QA process. Given that we’re a very small team, we didn’t have a lot of time to do additional work, so we were lacking documentation. Still, Artelogic dived right into our product and explored it. We were there for them to answer questions and help them understand our work, especially because everything is in Japanese.

Artelogic’s work had a very positive impact on our team’s morale. As our development quality was improving, our engineers were more confident in what they were doing, allowing them to work faster and with more confidence. As a result, our releases took less time and were less stressful.

Moreover, Artelogic’s work freed a lot of time for everyone on our team. Before this engagement, we even had our business team involved in the testing side as well. After working with Artelogic, we were able to focus on the announcement of upcoming features. Overall, their work made everyone more productive.

We had no issues on the project management side. Everything was delivered as expected.

Ihor (Engineering Director) was great. He kept our communication open at all times and was very proactive in ensuring everything was good. He was excellent at listening to our feedback, and communicating with him was very easy. Thanks to him, I always knew what was happening on Artelogic’s side.

I would also like to give a shoutout to Olena (Software QA Engineer) because she was perfect for us. She was very autonomous and did a great-quality job, so we almost did nothing ourselves.

Artelogic have carried out a huge amount of scope across our website including but not limited to development of a new membership platform, development of a new finance module, building out our backend capabilities and moving our website host to a more suitable option for our traffic demands and also shifting platform to WordPress site to allow enhanced in-house control of content. v

We liaise primarily with a project manager from Artelogic who then coordinates the developers and quality assurance team. This facilitated an easily managed chain of communication and also ensured we were provided information in an understandable manor via the project manager rather than jargon from multiple developers.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Our website’s overall functionality has been improved both in frontend possibilities and user experience as well as backend aspects of website management and financial monitoring. These are not easily qualitfiable but there has been a net gain in available staff hours for alternative projects as a result of improved website abilities reducing workload.

The primary communication platform I’ve used with Artelogic is Slack for day-to-day communication, we also utilised Trello for providing and managing scope and development with invoicing being issuued via email. All responses were very efficient and language was never a barrier.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Response time and customer service. Very quick response to all queries and whenever there was an issue caused by our older modules Artelogic were extremely rapid in offering support and deploying fixes even in out of office instances

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I have never been found wanting with Artelogic, their team and service level is brilliant.
