Scene Health (formerly emocha Health) is solving the decades-old problem of medication nonadherence by leveraging the power of people, science, and technology.

What specific goals or objectives did you hire DataPollex to accomplish?

• In order to improve our medication adherence platform and make it more user-friendly and interesting for patients and healthcare professionals, we recruited DataPollex. Our objective was to create a scalable system that, while adhering to stringent HIPAA regulations, could facilitate individualized video coaching, real-time adherence tracking, and smooth communication between patients, families, and care teams.

DataPollex provided a complete care coordination platform with family involvement portals, secure video coaching interfaces, and medication adherence tracking with AI-powered insights.  Customizable content delivery systems, automated adherence alarms for care teams, and user-friendly dashboards for tracking patient progress across various care plans were all part of the solution.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Through more individualized coaching experiences, the new platform increased patient engagement and medication adherence rates.  Patients and family considered the redesigned interface to be more user-friendly and supportive of their treatment journey, while healthcare personnel reported improved visibility into patient progress and more effective care coordination.

DataPollex met all project milestones on time and had outstanding communication.  During our pilot phase, their staff was especially helpful when we needed to swiftly modify features based on input from patients and healthcare providers.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

DataPollex distinguished out for their careful commitment to designing for vulnerable populations and their in-depth knowledge of healthcare workflows.  They included subtle features that demonstrated real empathy for patients managing complicated prescription regimens, such as family support tools and mild reminder systems.

Are there any areas for improvement or something DataPollex could have done differently?

DataPollex swiftly improved the interface based on user testing, but early iterations of the family portal needed to be simplified for fewer tech-savvy customers.  They quickly added personalized guidelines and video lessons to several of the care team training materials that needed improvement.
