To create an intuitive dashboard (Fabric) to help Farfetch and its clients and partners drill down into the data they had. We had a rough idea, but the Danger Farm team started with nothing more than some sketches and delivered a great product in just 8 weeks

What were your goals for this project?

At Farfetch, we had a huge amount of data but we were struggling to break it down effectively. We wanted to make the most out of the data we had and we wanted to enable our clients and partners to do so as well.

Fabric is an intuitive dashboard that allows users to drill down into every kind of data and client segment. At the beginning of the project, we provided Danger Farms with some sketches and rough ideas and they fully developed and delivered a ready-to-use web-based product in just 8 weeks

Fabric has been used by hundreds of Farfetch’s employees, partners and clients who immediately understood the product’s value and potential to transform the way they worked.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

The team at DangerFarms were self-organising, so we just had to set them the problem we were trying to solve, and leave the rest up to them. The communication was exemplary.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Danger Farms were a crucial partner, helping to create a product from a simple mock-up was just a few weeks. The team were reliable, quick and agile and brought their ideas to help us progress in areas we hadn't thought of. I didn't have a tech background, so Danger Farms coached me patiently through the design and development process.
