I’m the CEO of a technology consultancy offering software development services.

We hired CubeX-Ukraine to create a web app for a third-party gaming company. The product needed to be clean-coded with a modern design that allows for user interactivity. In addition, we needed the site to be transferred from a WordPress CMS to a new platform to add functionality.

What were your goals for this project?

We wanted the app to increase users and visitors for the third-party company. The app needed to enable users to challenge themselves with fun, interesting tasks.

We hired CubeX-Ukraine following a recommendation from a few of our partners. We had heard they were a skilled and professional company to work with.

Can you go into detail about the services they provided and the scope of the project?

The Cubex-Ukraine team moved the existing site to a Laravel & Angular package and implemented SEO and UX features into the system. They did full stack development, created the layout for our admin panel, and implemented a UX/UI design. They developed the app according to our specifications and provided maintenance for the platform.

What was the team composition?

They provided a frontend developer, backend developer, team lead, project manager, and designer.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

Our client has observed an increase in sales and the number of their users on the platform. Their internal workflow has become easier too.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

Our dedicated project manager gave us daily updates and assisted us with any questions we had.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Their team was highly professional and timely throughout the project—they went beyond our expectations.

Are there any areas where they can improve?

Though this isn’t an issue specific to CubeX-Ukraine, clients and developers should be aware of time zone differences and the necessary accommodations. Work schedules should be created with this in mind to avoid timeline delays.

We were developing text analytics solution for our Support Automation platform. Cube-X helped with the existing application and add some new functionalities.

What were your goals for this project?

The goal was to connect different Watson APIs to each other, retrieve and store textual analytics data in our DB for presenting it on the web for our clients.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

Guys completely understood our needs and propose - the project was quite difficult. It was the main selection trigger for us.

Several Watson APIs were involved into the project (NLU, Discovery) as well as our backend and frontend systems. Cube-X was able to develop the full pipeline and tune any errors fast and without breaking our deadline.

We mainly worked with one experienced full-stack developer who was able to cover most of the tasks in the project.

We got a clean and reliable analytics dashboard for our clients.

We managed the project ourselves. There were no issues with availability or communication.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They had a really deep and professional understanding of the job and its nuances from beginning to end. It is rare to meet today.

great, listening to problems, requirement and re-prioritising them internally for the team to be efficient.

Their professionalism and flexibility made them easy to work with. Eagerness to give qualitative results.

communication is already really good, but sometimes doubling the tasks in their own internal systems for better track-keeping creates unnecessary overhead.
