I work at a public tourism institution in Uruguay.

What challenges were you trying to address with Cualit?

Three years ago, we created a platform to manage tourism information centers as we wanted to digitize our processes and use less paper. It allows tourists to browse events and recommendations on laptops available to use in our center. After seeing good results, we wanted to launch the platform on a national level.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

They developed a mobile application, first for iOS but later moving to Android for cost reasons.

What is the team composition?

They worked in their own offices, so we didn’t get to see them all.

How did you come to work with Amalgama? 

Our former manager connected us, then they made a proposal that we liked, so they developed the first platform for us. When we wanted the national platform, we opened the project to more companies but chose Cualit thanks to their good results and their excellent new proposal.

What is the status of this engagement?

We developed the first project in 2018, the second project finished in February 2019.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

It’s been a great success; we’re very happy with their work. We came up with the idea, but their execution made it work. Thanks to this project, our institution became known on a national level and we’ve been asked by many departments to refer the team, so there’s been a mutual benefit. Besides that, all of our users are very happy, with a 100% satisfaction rate.

How did Cualit perform from a project management standpoint?

They were very fast at developing the project and had great communication.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We were very happy with everything and we’ve recommended them to everyone who asks about our project.

I first contacted Cualit for web development and digital marketing services.

What was the scope of their involvement?

In the beginning, I hired Cualit to design a website and logo and to help position our brand online.

What is the team composition?

We’ve directly been in touch with at least four people.

How did you come to work with Cualit?

I found Cualit on LinkedIn. After following them, I saw their work and employees. I requested and interviewed them, and after that, we began working together.

How much have you invested in them?

We’ve invested between $30,000–$40,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

Our engagement with Cualit began in mid-2017.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

I’m very satisfied with Cualit’s work. We continued our collaboration. They’ve worked on other developments with us, including an app for our clients and our digital marketing campaigns on social networks. We’ve reached our goals on each project we’ve had with them.

How did Cualit perform from a project management standpoint?

Even though we’re not based in the same city, we’re still able to communicate perfectly through phone calls, Skype, WhatsApp, and occasional meetings. They’re always available.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Cualit has a product for electronic billing and administrative matters, which has helped on our side.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can’t think of anything.

I’m the general manager of an art museum in Uruguay.

What challenges were you trying to address with Cualit?

We contacted them to work on our design, communications, and social media strategies. Our goal was to promote our artists’ work and obtain our public’s feedback by creating interactions with them.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Cualit developed a website and a virtual reality app that allows the visitors in the museum to interact with the art through their cell phones. Aside from that, they provide direction regarding our social media.

What is the team composition?

Cualit has a pretty big team of around 15 to 20 people, each with specific expertise so that they can cover all of their clients’ needs.

How did you come to work with Cualit?

We had worked with another agency before and didn’t have a good experience. A former employee of ours that is very demanding and creative referred Cualit to us, saying that they were very innovative and professional. It felt like a good option for us.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started negotiation in April 2018 and our collaboration continues.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Cualit has helped us enormously in implementing new things. Since having them on board, we’ve done promotions and raffles, and have created a lot of content about the art in the museum. Overall, results have been truly positive. 

How did Cualit perform from a project management standpoint?

They always meet deadlines and are flexible with any inconveniences that may arise.

What did you find most impressive about them? 

Cualit has a professional and integrated team with knowledge in all areas. They’ve proven that they’re capable and creative while staying humble, which is something we value a lot.
