Crushing Cones is a great success in the progress, communication, collaboration, and knowledge they have in website design! Since my site at Kindred Hope Wellness has gone live, I continually get compliments on its greatness! I now see higher interest in my website and more contacts from potential clients. A small company runs Crushing Cones, which is much more personal and considerate to their clients. They can guide their clients based on their specific technical needs in SEO and coding and other aspects. Their creativity level is remarkable and can build what you describe. As a client who is not technically inclined, Crushing Cones is outstanding in explaining how a website functions and why certain things should be highly considered. I am impressed with every step we've gone through to build my private practice's site.

Honestly, Crushing Cones will naturally grow and strengthen. And there is nothing to do differently.

Create a 2-page website that is colourful, dynamic and professional using copy, videos and images provided, provide hosting and an easy mechanism for updates. Website should provide customers with the options to contact me using various methods. Timeline was approximately 6 weeks with first draft within 2 weeks.

They were attentive, detail-oriented, patient and perfectionistic. Feedback, advice and responses were instant. From the first conversation with Crushing Cones, I felt I found the perfect partnership to build my website. They quickly attained a deep understanding of the company vision and embraced it wholeheartedly in the website build. I appreciated their willingness to be experimental by trying some unconventional techniques. All promises were kept and timelines met.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Most impressive to me is the perfect partnership between the co-owners. They are friends who know each others' strengths and how to capitalize on them. It's an amazing example of teamwork that never left me, the client feel as if communication was disjointed. They compliment each other so well that there are no gaps in their collective skills. They were able to make me feel understood through exemplary client-focus.

I also loved the honesty. Being transparent allowed me to see what was realistic and what else was possible! Innovation and experimentation are big attributes too. The result was a webiste that is highly customized without a hint of templates or "cookie-cutter" design.

I hired Crushing Cones to design and develop our website and recruitment dashboard.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I interviewed a few connections from a Toronto startup event I participated in and eventually narrowed it down to Crushing Cones based on their design portfolio.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

Started with a few meetings to provide them with my vision for the platform and the front/back end I wanted to achieve. Alvin and his team were knowledgeable and provided frequent updates along the development process. We went through a number of iterations mid-development and I appreciated their patience as we worked through it all.

I worked with Alvin in the first half for the design and Narius who led the development and infrastructure side of things later on.

We approached Crushing Cones to help us build and define the UI/UX of the first iteration of our AR mobile app.

They were recommended to us by the organizer of a networking event.

After discussing the scope of the project, the team at crushing cones researched and presented potential design directions. From our feedback, their team built out the UX structure of our app and started developing a UI prototype. From here, we conducted diligent research and made necessary changes from the feedback.

We worked with the lead designer (Alvin) who I mostly corresponded with and his team.

The end result was a design framework that our mobile team could incorporate into the mobile app.

Alvin was great to deal with and provided me with multiple weekly progress updates. I liked how our meetings were brief and to the point.

Their design work was quite impressive for an industry that isn't quite mainstream at this point.

No issues from our end. Expectations were made clear from the start.
