We own a Home Watch business and saw the need for a software platform that could help us run our business more effectively. We found Crest and have been building and evolving our Your-Home 360 platform for the last two years. The platform has:

• A unified Web-based Admin interface that is fully configurable so each YH360 customer can customize their experience to meet their business needs, and execute contracts and invoice customers through integrations with SignNow and Quickbooks
• A mobile app (IoS and Android) used by team members in the field to record photos, notes and client communications
• End-customer versions of the web and app experiences

• Launched with first beta customers in January 2026
• Now up to 8 live customers ahead of planned full launch

We prioritize a Trello Kanban backlog and the team picks up tickets and organizes them into releases. We do not have a set release cadence, but we have steadily added features about every two weeks. The team works very hard to meet promised delivery timelines.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Our team has a mix of flexible development resources who have focus areas, but who can pivot to help meet a goal when needed -- e.g., the mobile app-focused developer helping with a backend database issue. Probably the most impressive aspect of our relationship is the team's availability -- we were initially concerned about support from India-based developers during the US workday, but they really go above and beyond expectations to respond to inquiries or issues.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Crest Infosystems Pvt. Ltd. could have done differently?

Initially, we had trouble tying invoices to work performed, but the team set up a Teams chat where we get detailed reports every day about what each team member has done and the hours worked. That's been especially helpful for ensuring alignment on priorities and status.

We looked for vendors in Clutch and called 20 of them to get basic information like rates, work time, payment terms, etc. We then shared a test task for the developers. Our tech lead was also involved in the process.

The dispatch system is connected to microservices and several third-party APIs. CREST INFOSYSTEMS’ frontend developers are building its UI/UX.

The project involves 15 developers—10 backend and five frontend. CREST INFOSYSTEMS provides three of the frontend developers.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

The dispatch system is still being developed, but it would play a vital role in our client's business. It's important for their operations team to have an easy-to-use backend system.

CREST INFOSYSTEMS is doing a great job. Not only are they good at coding, but they are also working with our team to create a smoother workflow.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

Our Scrum master manages the project. We use Jira, Slack, and GitLab to communicate. We had some issues at the beginning since the project involves multiple parties based in different countries.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The developers provide good input on the architecture and workflow. They are easy to work with and deliver high-quality work.

Are there any areas for improvement?

They could think more proactively about how to make the product better.

Crest Infosystems has served as my development staff from the beginning. To build my team, Crest Infosystems allows me to review the resumes of applicants and be actively involved in screening and selecting the developers who work exclusively on my project. They primarily work with PHP and MySQL, but there is occasional mobile work with Android, iOS, and .NET. The ERM has over 100 business modules—a list that includes CRM, POS, inventory management, warehouse management, accounting, and e-commerce.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

My company would not have this platform without them. By a landslide, we believe we have the most comprehensive cloud SaaS ERP available. I’m confident that we have a more complex and complete system than our competitors.

How did Crest Infosystems perform from a project management standpoint?

We communicate efficiently through Skype, email, WhatsApp, or phone calls—it’s been no different than interacting with anybody else. I have a US project manager that works a night shift and will answer any developer questions during that time. All requirements are listed in Jira, where we can track all correspondence. The developers are always available—we’ve provided them with cell phones, and they routinely take their laptops home with them.

They offer the ideal combination of product quality, staff retention, and communication.

No, they have fulfilled all requirements.

It may be best to start with a small team of their developers first. Once you see the difference they can make, build a larger group from there.

I’m the founder of a company that runs a fashion and lifestyle platform.

What challenge were you trying to address with Crest Infosystems Pvt. Ltd.?

I approached Crest Infosystems Pvt. Ltd. to create a web application that would serve as our platform. It’s a B2B website that would connect freelancers in the fashion and lifestyle industries with clients.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement? 

Initially, I provided Adobe XD and HTML mock-ups of my design along with a list of desired features. We then worked hand in hand to create the platform accordingly.

With the platform, clients could engage with freelancers to procure fashion and lifestyle services. Since it’s a two-sided marketplace, it was pivotal to make the connection process as intuitive as possible.

Crest Infosystems Pvt. Ltd. used Ruby on Rails and PHP to build the backend and Rails on the frontend. We’ve finished most of the development, but there are still a few things that we haven’t pushed live yet. They’re working on finalizing the last few items.

They’ve assigned a project coordinator, a senior software test engineer, and two developers who worked with two people on our side.

I found them on Upwork and sent them my list of desired functionalities and features. After reviewing the list, they sent me estimates for time and cost estimates in addition to suggesting best practices. I ultimately went with them because they had a strong team structure and a reasonable price.

Their work started in October 2018 and is ongoing. We’re just finalizing a few things to push them live, but we’ve completed most of the project.

We created the platform with a reasonable timeframe, and their quality of work stood out. I rarely had to get on their case about accentuating a particular function or feature. Not to mention, the workflow was very intuitive.

The team did an amazing job, and they were responsive and understanding throughout. Sometimes I would have to chime in about a task, but I rarely had to. In terms of communication, we never had a problem. We spoke as needed through Skype and email.

They’re a solution-oriented team that strives to produce the best results. If they implemented a feature that I didn’t feel was up to par, they would work on the item until I was satisfied.

Their design skills have room to improve.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The project enabled us to establish our core digital logistics infrastructure, including a functional mobile app, corporate fleet management platform, trip dispatch system, GPS tracking, and operational workflows that support both B2B and B2C logistics operations in Ghana. We tracked key operational metrics such as platform functionality completion, successful trip management workflows, GPS tracking performance, corporate onboarding readiness, and overall system stability to measure progress toward commercial launch and operational efficiency improvements.At the time of this review, we were in our pre-commercial launch phase. The platform had been built and internally tested, but we hadn’t yet begun full commercial operations. As a result, we weren’t in a position to share live operational metrics such as trip volumes or active user counts. However, Crest Infosystems Pvt. Ltd. delivered a fully functional three-sided platform — the customer app, driver app, and corporate web platform — on scope. The core features we commissioned were operational: trip creation and publishing, the bidding system, digital waybill generation, fleet management dashboard, driver management, document tracking, and live trip status updates across all three interfaces.

Crest Infosystems Pvt. Ltd.’s project management was structured and reliable. We communicated via Slack, email, and two weekly meetings — a rhythm that kept us informed without constant follow-up. Their responsiveness was a real strength; they addressed issues and change requests the same day or next morning, even across time zones. They tracked and met milestones, and when we introduced scope refinements during the build, they managed them without derailing the timeline. Overall, they delivered on time.

What did you find most impressive about them?

What stood out most was their combination of responsiveness, professionalism, and genuine domain knowledge. They understood 3PL and 4PL business models from the start, which meant discussions went straight to solutions rather than lengthy explanations. When we needed to modify or refine ideas during the build, they adapted quickly without pushback or delays. Communication was always clear and well-organized. They didn’t just execute instructions; they brought experience to the table.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There was nothing significant. This was a complex, three-sided platform with multiple stakeholder types, a custom commission and subscription model, and several interdependent features — and Crest Infosystems Pvt. Ltd. navigated it without major issues. If anything, the minor iterations we went through during development were a natural part of building something this tailored, not a reflection of any shortfall on their side. Overall, we were genuinely satisfied with the engagement.
