I’m the director of marketing for a multi-national tech company.

What challenge were you trying to address with Creative Mindworks?

We needed help creating assets for our digital marketing campaigns.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We’ve hired Creative Mindworks for a variety of projects. They are helping us with digital marketing collaterals, strategy, and research, as well as media planning and buying.

Usually, we start by providing them with a brief. From there, they’ll build a proposal, providing ideas and strategies for our approval. If everything is okay, we approve their plan, and they move forward with the execution.

They provide me with reports upon implementation. We periodically go over campaign performance, and they tweak and optimize to improve our KPIs. 

What is the team composition?

I’ve worked with account executives, copywriters, web producers, and other teammates. Our account manager is our go-to person — she brings people on as needed. 

How did you come to work with Creative Mindworks?

A contact recommended Creative Mindworks to us. We tested their services with search engine marketing, SEO, and web development projects, and they were consistently doing good work. They were flexible and easy to work with, so we hired them. 

How much have you invested in them?

We’ve spent around $200,000–$300,000 a year.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them in the fourth quarter of 2018, and it’s ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Creative Mindworks consistently reaches the KPIs that we’ve set — they’re very good at SEO and PPC. 

We measure success based on conversions, not just the aesthetic quality of the deliverables. It isn’t enough that our audience is engaging with our campaigns — we also need to convert them to sales. 

How did Creative Mindworks perform from a project management standpoint?

Creative Mindworks is excellent at keeping projects on time and within budget. They use Asana and Monday.com for project management, and we typically communicate through calls, emails, and WhatsApp. 

Since they already know us well, their proposals are on point and excellent. They can also make suggestions that we might not have thought of by ourselves.

For creative tasks, they do an excellent job of showing us drafts of what they are producing and laying out its strategy. When it comes to media and digital marketing, they are outstanding in detailing plans, actions, and costs.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Creative Mindworks’ team is very committed to our success. They really understand our business — they get excited about the same things we get excited about. Working with them doesn’t feel like working with an outside vendor. In addition, their technical know-how about web services, digital marketing, and SEO is impressive. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can’t think of anything.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

If you want them to give you 100%, be willing to give 110%. Our openness with our communication and expectations is one of the reasons why our partnership is successful. 

We provide the necessary support and data so they can perform well. They have the same amount of information that we have — as a result, they can come up with our required solutions.

I am the chief marketing and communications officer for Sapoznik Insurance. We are a 30-year-old employee benefits provider.

What challenge were you trying to address with Creative Mindworks?

In connection with our 30-year anniversary in 2017, we were planning to rebrand our company. We were looking for a partner to assist with our initiative.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Creative Mindworks handled many of the design aspects of our rebranding initiative. The team created a completely new, fresh, and clean logo that reflected our values, then helped us determine the most effective taglines for our company.

Creative Mindworks also fully redesigned our website. We provided them with the three audiences we were aiming to target, HR people, CFOs, and CEOs. They created a color scheme and planned all of the various landing pages that prioritized those needs. We collaborated on selecting visual content, but their team drafted all of the written content, which we reviewed before launch. They also did some light SEO work.

What is the team composition?

We mainly worked with a team of four representatives that included a project manager, a developer, a technology person, and the president, who was very interested in the healthcare space.

How did you come to work with Creative Mindworks?

We were searching for a local boutique agency. Out of four agencies, our committee chose Creative Mindworks based on the concepts they presented for our project. Also, we appreciated the fact that they are a woman-run business.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from May 2016–January 2017. Occasionally, they will help us with fixes and changes.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We have very little analytical data, but we have received positive feedback from our customers, our partners, and other industry professionals. Creative Mindworks’ new web design opened a lot of doors for our business. Following its launch, the site started generating leads for us, which never happened before.

How did Creative Mindworks perform from a project management standpoint?

Their project management skills were great. We regularly met in person, but also talked on the phone and through email. Because they weren’t experts in our industry, they depended on us for a lot of information, but once we gave them the direction they efficiently put together a cohesive messaging strategy for our site.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We are a slightly difficult, and opinionated, group to work with, but Creative Mindworks handled these discussions with professionalism and patience.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I have nothing but positive comments about the experience.

Any advice for potential customers?

Clients considering Creative Mindworks should just hire them.

We have been able to close many clients over the years due to CM direct help.

Overall it was pretty seamless and a pleasure to work with.

The ideas they generate are outside the box and one-of-a-kind. Their solutions make them special and a must to use.

Is there any area for improvement or anything that could have been done differently?

We would all like to sell more but that is normal times are tough due to the pandemic.
