Crafton delivered the project end to end. It started with workshops that established what passengers actually look for on our site and how that information should be organised. The UX and UI design followed from those findings rather than the other way round.

Crafton then built and deployed the responsive website covering timetables, route maps, service changes and the passenger zone. Digital accessibility was handled as part of the build throughout, given our obligations as a public body.

Since launch Crafton has been responsible for hosting, the infrastructure behind the site and ongoing support. Key deliverables: discovery workshops, UX and UI design, a responsive website with the passenger information sections, accessibility built into the implementation, and ongoing hosting, infrastructure and support.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The site meets the accessibility requirements that apply to us as a public body. For a public operator that is a legal obligation, not an improvement we could postpone.

The cooperation did not end at launch. Crafton runs the hosting and the infrastructure, so responsibility for the site staying available sits with the team that built it.

Passengers now reach timetables, route maps and service changes from one place, which is what the workshops at the start were meant to establish and what the site was rebuilt to do.

The site meets the accessibility requirements that apply to us. For a public operator that is a legal obligation rather than an improvement we could postpone, so treating it as part of the build was the right call.

Two things. The project did not start with visuals. It started with workshops about what passengers need from the site, and the design followed from that, which is not how most website projects are run.

The second is accessibility. For a public body it is a legal requirement, and vendors often treat it as a checklist at the end of the project. Here it was part of how the site was built. That is a different way of working and it shows in the result.

Worth adding that the same team is still responsible for the site. Hosting and infrastructure were not handed over to somebody else after launch. 

Are there any areas for improvement or something Crafton could have done differently?

A rebuild of this kind touches a lot of people on our side, and the number of internal consultations was something we underestimated at the start rather than something Crafton got wrong. If we were doing it again we would map out earlier who needs to see what and when.

Crafton covered the full process for two brewery websites: discovery workshops, UX research, UX/UI design, front-end development and WordPress development, plus content migration and deployment to our production server. Key deliverables for the Browar Fortuna website: - A filterable beer catalogue with individual product pages - An interactive "where to buy" map integrated with Google Maps, split into shops and bars - An events module with a homepage slider - An awards section and a "how we brew" page - An Instagram feed and contact forms They then reused the same foundation to design and build the Browar Grodzisk website as a second project. Since launch, Crafton provides ongoing website support and maintenance for both sites, including WordPress and PHP updates, bug fixes, responsive design improvements and new features on request. The collaboration has been running since October 2018.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Both websites are live and our marketing team manages them on our own; products, news and events, without calling a developer every time. The beer catalogue and the "where to buy" map are the most visited parts of the site.

The other thing we'd point to is reliability: we report something and Crafton usually looks at it the same day, and bigger features get estimated and delivered without us chasing anyone. For a brewery that runs two brands online, that kind of ongoing web support matters as much as the design itself.

Communication is simple and direct. We report an issue or request a feature and usually get a reaction the same day. Bigger items get estimated first, then delivered as agreed - no surprises on scope or timeline. After several years of working together, Crafton knew our brands well enough that we rarely needed to explain context. We manage both websites on our own - products, news, events - and when something needs their involvement, the handoff is quick. For ongoing website support and maintenance across two brands, that kind of reliability matters more than any single delivery.

Crafton picked up on that quickly and built the whole UX around it. The other thing is that they handled a genuinely complex project - six languages, a custom configurator, 30+ landing pages - without it ever feeling chaotic. That's rare.

Nothing major, honestly. If I had to pick something - with six language versions, the final content review and QA phase was quite demanding on our side. A more structured process for multilingual content validation could have made that smoother. But it's a small thing considering the overall result.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We have worked with Crafton on multiple projects for our artists and did not hesitate to reach out to them for a project of this scale.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

We needed something that would help us with efficiency, scalability and most notably with the integration of all the services and tools that we use. We kicked off our project with a workshop, where they analyzed our situation and what areas of our operations could be integrated and improved through a one window solution.

After that, they defined the scope and allocated their resources to kick-start the project. They worked together with our graphic designers to develop the designs and later started with the coding and implementation. After this, testing was done and our system was deployed. Throughout the project, their communication was amazing, they made sure all our views and requirements were heard. They were very attentive to our needs.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

The efforts were co-led by a Project Manager and Business Analyst. Both were extremely competent people. We had one person on the design side and three developers.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Crafton succeeded in developing exactly what we wanted. This project has enabled us to scale our operations and allowed us to effectively manage and take in more work. My team's productivity has increased, and I am able to keep an overview of all the tasks more effectively.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

Crafton’s communication was on point. Throughout the phases of development, they included us in meetings when needed and always met up with us when asked. The team assigned was very cautious with the timeline and everything was done with great attention to detail.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Crafton is not a service partner. They are your partner, and this surprised us initially because it was impressive how quickly and swiftly. They understood our needs and goals, along with what approach would bring the best results for our company.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Every company has areas to improve, but at this moment I can’t really put my finger on anything. They did an excellent job!
