Kraków Airport

For the largest regional airport in Poland – Krakow Airport – we created and implemented an innovative website. During the process we designed and implemented such features as an interactive airport plans, a flights’ browser, a section for logged in users. The functionalities we implemented make it easier for the users to find content they need and significantly increase the usability.

Shortly after

the launch of the website there appeared numerous articles in trade magazines which positively described the partnership between the Airport and our Agency. What’s more, during the 9th Academy of the Internet Webstar competition’s edition the website received the ‘Website of the Year 2013’ statuette in the ‘Traveling and Tourism’ category. Currently , we’re providing an interactive support service on a day-to-day basis and we’re working on the mobile application for the Krakow Airport.

Santander Consumer Bank

For Internet Banking services of Santander Consumer Bank we developed a concept of e-banking system, wireframes, graphic designs and implemented a front-end layer. We made sure that our solutions are effective with two rounds of usability testing (tests of project functionality and graphic designs). For Bank Zachodni WBK (Santander Group) we developed an Internet service promoting cash deposit machines. With interactive tools

that we implemented, customers may easily familiarize with the functionalities of the device by learning about it step by step.

Unicef

For a global intergovernmental organization UNICEF, we designed and implemented two websites: ‘Ethical Travels’ and “Companies with Hearts’. Their purpose is to familiarize the Internet users with responsible tourism rules and to set up the funds to help saving children from all around the world. The ‘Ethical Travels’ website was awarded by ‘The Academy of Internet’ during the Webstar Festival competition in Poland.

Ergo Hestia

For a leading Polish insurance company, Ergo Hestia, we created a crowd sourcing portal – ‘Forum Idei’. Thanks to our involvement, we were able to establish a regular partnership with our client, working on many interactive projects. As a part of the servicing on a day-to-day basis, we provide our client with innovative websites, which satisfy users’ needs and expectations.

Photler

In 2016, with the engagement and hard work from the whole Crafton agency’s team, we launched our first own product – Photler, a Software as a Service (SaaS) product. The main purpose of Photler is to allow users to create personalised web sites on the basis of ready-made templates, with the use of intuitive WYSIWYG editor. At the same time, Photler is also a collection of travel pictures taken by the best photographers from

around the globe.

For PGNiG Termika we have provided a modern corporate website built with the latest version of advanced content management system Drupal 8. With the use of a clear layout based on a large number of images, interesting topography and contrasting colors, the pages look pleasant and attract new users, while the content exploration has become easy and intuitive.

Jagiellonian University

We redesigned the official portal of the prime and the oldest Polish University - Jagiellonian University. It was our aim to create the website that would be simple to use, fast and possible to be developed in the future. The intuitive and fully responsive layout as well as the variety of the implemented functionalities, resulted in a significant increase in users satisfaction.

Ministry of Economy

For the Polish Ministry of Economy we redesigned the website which was implemented using the innovative Drupal CMS. The new layout of the website and graphic elements that were used highlight the importance and prestige of the government office, while at the same time remaining light and modern.

St. Majewski

We built a responsive website based on WordPress CMS for St. Majewski, which is one of the biggest Polish companies offering the stationery and the textiles for children and teenagers. Our tasks included preparing Information architecture, designing the layout and implementing the website which was supposed to be engaging for users regardless their age.

Ministry of Infrastructure and Development

At the request of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Development, we created a responsive website presenting an extent of changes which had taken place in Poland due to European funds. The website remains in accordance with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines and consists of two main parts: an interactive map of projects and an advanced search engine.

Amica

Amica is a Polish leading manufacturer of household goods. It’s one of the best brands in Poland which gained customers’ trust. The websites we created by Crafton for Amica between 2010 and 2014 are a source of information about the company and its products' offer. The interactive elements establish the identity of the brand as the innovator in its field. Apart from delivering web designs, we ran a promotional campaign across

multiple social platforms.

BACKGROUND

Please describe your company and your position there.

I’m a marketing specialist at Stary Browar, a contemporary shopping center.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire Crafton?

We worked with Crafton twice. The first time they prepared a responsive website for us. The second time, we chose them for the website redesign and to develop a mobile app.

What were your goals for this project?

We wanted our website to be user-friendly and cover relevant content. In both cases, the project included providing information about mall events and sales. Our goal was to create a service built on intuitive structure. It also included a useful map of the gallery. By increasing usability and design, we wanted to attract people to use our website on a regular basis.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

After doing some research for the first project, we came across Crafton. Their offer and portfolio were promising, so we met with them. We liked their philosophy and the story they had to tell. When we decided to do a redesign, we already knew who to choose.

Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.

The project stage included several parts: first tests and research with website users, then creating a wireframe and main concept, and finally making mockups and a universal layout. During the primary stage of usability research, they conducted analyses of customers' preferences and expectations, from which they’ve optimized the users’ path. As part of the work on the renewed version of the website, they changed the graphic design, so that it would be compatible with the new branding of the shopping center and fit in with the latest trends in design. The platform has also been fully integrated with the Stary Browar mobile application. The website was implemented bilingually according to responsive web design best practices.

What was the team composition?

The team included UX designers, web developers, frontend and backend developers, a project manager, and an account manager.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

As an outcome of the intense design phase, each time they delivered a modern website that fulfilled all of our business objectives. The currently implemented version of the website stands out from the competition with an excellent layout, optimal information architecture, and stable performance. All these elements reflect the idea behind the functioning of the Stary Browar, therefore ensuring the balance between the key elements for the mall (trade, art, and business). Advanced functionalities (i.e.: a display of events, a special offers panel, dining information, interactive sliders, and the use of parallax effect) enhance the aesthetic values of the website.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

Crafton’s team took care of most of the project. In case of any problems, they responded quickly. We had contact with an account manager on a regular basis. Thanks to the complexity of their service and their initiative, we didn’t have to have many meetings.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

There were two things that impressed me the most. First is their knowledge about UX. For every project, they did dedicated research which proved to be extremely effective. The second outstanding thing is how they organized their work; they didn’t require much supervision. They knew how much time each stage would take, so there were no delays.

Are there any areas for improvement?

No, everything was irreproachable.

Crafton delivered top-notch results within a month, in time for a major trade exhibition. The website garnered positive feedback on its aesthetics and user flow. Crafton’s commitment to deadlines, seamless collaboration, and flawless output set them apart in the industry.

BACKGROUND

Introduce your business and what you do there.

I am the business development manager for a company that offers LED lighting solutions. We serve retail companies, warehouse and distributions centers, logistics parks, and car parking facilities.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Crafton?

After going through a large-scale expansion, we found that our website no longer represented our business well to our target markets. We needed to come up with a solution that was more in tune with our business strategy for the next couple of years. We were also keen to explore different types of media and internet solutions.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Initially, we met with Crafton’s team to discuss our strategy and concept. We also talked about the type of information that we needed to have on our website, including upcoming key events and exhibitions. Crafton came up with a full marketing proposal and explained how the roadmap would fit in with our business strategy for 2019–2020.

Before, our website had disparate sections that did not effectively convey our brand story. Crafting created a new website concept and marketing tool, turning it into a professional and visually pleasing marketing platform. They highlighted key elements and improved the user flow so that customers can identify our business strategy and products. It was almost like storytelling for our brand.

What is the team composition?

We had a direct point of contact and several people working on the project behind the scenes. Our internal marketing and IT teams interacted directly with the Crafton team.

How did you come to work with Crafton?

About two years ago, we asked Crafton to design part of the website for a separate part of our business. We were quite happy with the outcome, so we wanted to work with them again for this project.

How much have you invested in them?

We spent between $50,000–$100,000 on their services.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from December 2018–March 2019.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Crafton delivered above and beyond what we were expecting. They understood our vision and complied with our tight deadlines. We signed the contract in December and needed it delivered by—in time for an exhibition. This was the first of several European exhibitions and events, so it was crucial that the website was ready by then.

The initial responses from our clients have been positive. People have told us the site is quite pleasing and easy to navigate.

How did Crafton perform from a project management standpoint?

It was a seamless interaction, almost as if they were part of the company. This is quite rare in this market. We typically communicated via email, phone calls, and several meetings. The communication levels were exactly what we were expecting. I also had no complaints from my team.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They were exceptional. Crafton helped us save a lot of time and money, thanks to their quick understanding of our goals. They provided top service, managed our expectations well, and made us feel supported.

Are there any areas they could improve?

We can’t fault them in any way. The project was seamless from start to finish.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Crafton has an excellent portfolio and the pricing that goes with it. However, don’t always look at the cost. Instead, consider what a company can deliver and within your time frame. Clients need to weigh the benefits of having a solution delivered that is fit for purpose.

Crafton earned ongoing business by producing high-quality work and delivering excellent customer service. They’re flexible and easygoing when managing changes in scope. They’re also good listeners and they contribute superior design work which satisfies the business objectives.

BACKGROUND

Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m a project and UX manager for a consulting and business information company in the department for assessing needs and growth. We provide a couple of services and websites including e-commerce, startup accelerators, financial solutions, etc.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Crafton?

Each one of our services has its own homepage, and we also have our mother company’s page. We were trying to address design and development for our products.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

They helped with the design assets in the beginning, they created high-fidelity designs, and then they worked on coding. Crafton helped with developing most of our websites into a CMS in order to easily update content and assets. The idea behind our latest project was having a page that was always fresh and being updated. Our director was keen on creating a responsive and good-looking website.

We like to market our services through the homepage of our company; it displays testimonials, events that we’re participating in, and Twitter feedback from some of our users. When opening the page, visitors can see the services we provide and how powerful and valuable they are. They will also see short descriptions of our past projects as they scroll through the page which include the number of users each product has and the value it brought.

What is the team composition?

There were two developers, one project manager, and one designer assigned to our work, plus the CEO, who was available in the beginning whenever we needed support. He also attended some of our meetings toward the end, making sure that the communication was going well, and everything was aligned.

How did you come to work with Crafton?

I’d worked with them before on other projects. I reviewed some of their work and found it impressive, so I chose Crafton.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with Crafton in December 2015. They’re still working with us.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Crafton is extremely creative and they make great designs. They always come up with great ideas and listen to the client’s needs. They understand our stakeholders’ business goals, and they’re patient whenever we request a change. Even if the work was done, they redid it and made sure we liked it.

How did Crafton perform from a project management standpoint?

We work in agile through Jira. They review what needs to be fixed, they assign the tasks to their developers, and they deliver right away. We talk to them daily via Slack.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re quick and creative.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Communication needed to be improved in the beginning, but it was resolved by the end. We had a couple of meetings with some of them, but, when the project manager came in, she needed to be briefed again, which slowed us down, but we picked up the pace again.

Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?

It’s important to have a clear scope before starting the work. Even if it changes, it’s good to go back and see what changed.

Preliminary user testing proves that the website is intuitive and easy to use thanks to Crafton’s involvement. They fixed bugs quickly, provided weekly status reports, and were easy to reach when needed. They delivered per expectations and are more like a partner rather than a one-off vendor.

BACKGROUND

Introduce your business and what you do there.

Silowave is a manufacturer of grain silos and other products for the agricultural industry. I’m responsible for marketing and sales. I maintain contact with distributors and handle all the marketing related to our website and videos.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Crafton?

Our website had an outdated design and we couldn’t position ourselves in Google since it wasn’t built under Google standards. We were looking for a company that could design a new website for us and help us rank higher on Google and Yandex so that people could find us easily online.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We started the work by identifying examples of what we wanted. Crafton showed us some of their recent work in similar industries and asked us for a preferred color palette and a set of functionalities. After this, their graphic designer showed us some potential designs.

Since we didn’t know which technology would be ideal, they suggested PHP and WordPress. Crafton also helped us with some plug-ins and with the UI, explaining their reasoning behind placing our contact info on the right corner, for example. In the end, they accomplished the vision we had for the website.

They’re currently doing some final testing, copywriting for different markets, and checking spelling mistakes, but the project is overall complete. They’re also optimizing the website for Yandex and Google.

What is the team composition?

They assigned two developers to the project.

How did you come to work with Crafton?

They developed a website for us about 10 years ago. For this project, we only wanted to make some changes to the website’s design but realized that it would be cheaper to create a new one.

How much have you invested with them?

The cost of their work was around $120,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in April and the project was finished in June. We’re going to publish the site in two weeks.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’ve tested the site with users from different groups before launch, given that our clients have specific requirements. It’s turned out that the website is intuitive and easy to navigate, even for very young users. About 90% of them have managed to perform the actions we wanted them to do.

Crafton gave us access to an alpha version, which we tested for bugs. Whenever we identified something, they fixed it immediately. There haven’t been many issues overall, given that the website wasn’t very complex.

How did Crafton perform from a project management standpoint?

Their performance was positive. They sent us weekly reports detailing what had been done and what the final site was going to look like. They were also easy to reach and usually responded to emails within an hour.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The project was completed quite fast. They produced excellent designs with a user-oriented approach.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Crafton isn’t a well-known company in Russia and the Czech Republic, so they should maybe work on their visibility. They could attract more clients by adopting a more global approach.

The new site generates more traffic and more orders than before and positive customer feedback. The site is stable and bug-free, and Crafton impressed with their exceptional UX delivery. The team’s strong expertise helped them to craft an effective, high-quality solution at an affordable cost.

BACKGROUND

Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the business development manager of a chemical production company.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Crafton?

We needed someone to create a new website for us. We wanted to increase the number of customers we have in other parts of Europe and not just in Poland.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We needed something that would combine our company information and sales. We wanted to improve our website by having it in five different languages and needed UI/UX and web development. We had our logo, but they made additional improvements to it. They also improved the frontend of our website. They used JavaScript, Angular, PHP, and WordPress.

They developed a catalog of our products and a form for our customers to create orders. They implemented a model which allows us to have all the documentation in one place. They also created a history which features a timeline of our past events. Additionally, they made a contact section where users can quickly send us a message.

What is the team composition?

We had one full-stack developer and two that worked on the frontend and backend. We also had two web designers, two UX specialists, and one project manager.

How did you come to work with Crafton?

They were recommended to us by one of our partners.

How much have you invested in them?

We’ve spent around $80,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We began working with them in February 2014 and the work is ongoing. They currently provide us with maintenance.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Our website views have increased to 2,000 per day, which is much more than we previously had. Also, we’ve received more orders through the form that was created by Crafton. Our customers let us know that the website is much easier to use, and this shows in the orders we receive. It’s easier for us to have everything in one place. I don’t recall any bugs or crashes.

How did Crafton perform from a project management standpoint?

We described our ideas to them during our meetings or calls via Skype. Then, they gave us a solution and brought our ideas to life. There were no issues with communication because they were available 24/7. We met in their office twice, but, remote communication was at the same level as if we were meeting face-to-face. We use Slack to communicate as well.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their UX department is impressive. We were focused on creating our website and making it more useful and flexible for our customers. Their UX department is one of the best I’ve ever worked with. They have a vast knowledge and a lot of experience, and I was really impressed with the solution that they proposed to us.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There was only one full-stack developer. The developer we had was great, but it would be helpful if they had more of them.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Don’t worry about sharing your ideas because Crafton is flexible and open to ideas.
