I am an Associate at a Wealth Management firm. Our firm specializes in investing for high net worth clients in private equity, private real estate and private debt.

We had a majority of our design already prepared by our designer but we needed someone who could help us with the execution of the design and make all our designs workable. We needed someone who was familiar with web development and graphics so that we could smoothly transition from static designs to actually converting them into workable elements.

We found Dark Matter Digital through Wix - the platform for we used for our website development.

After we submitted a collaboration request through Wix, Brandon from Dark Matter Digital reached out to us and we explained our needs to him. Our requirement was to convert our existing static designs into a fully functional website. We shared the mock up designs with Brandon and he was very forthcoming and understood our requirements in no time. We used Wix for our website development. We also wanted our email signatures to be converted into a workable format which we could not figure out a solution for without Brandon's help. Brandon developed a HTML code for our email signatures which we were seamlessly able to use in Outlook.

Brandon was our main point of contact at Dark Matter Digitals. He was the only person we communicated and worked with.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Within 24 hours of launching our new email signatures, we received great feedback from our clients and partners on how well they looked. We have yet to launch our new website, but we anticipate a similar reaction to it as well.

We communicated daily with Brandon and there was no delay in his promised timelines. He delivered all required items as we expected and made all the changes we asked for in a timely manner.

For us personally, we were impressed by the following:

2. There was never a lack of communication
3. He very clearly understood our specific details
4. They did not shy away from working to get us what we needed, even if it meant multiple revisions.
5. Did not charge an excessive amount for projects

We are thrilled with our partnership with Brandon and Dark Matter Digital, and we would definitely consider him for any future project we wish to embark on.

Our goal with hiring Dark Matter Digital was to have them create a great looking and super functional website in a short amount of time. They did just that- they were able to create a custom site in just 2 weeks and the communication was great all throughout.

We searched around for a while for a site developer but came across Dark Matter Digital on Upwork. As soon as we reached out, Brandon followed up and after discussing with him over the phone, I know he would have the company's best interest.

We had a kickoff meeting discussing the deliverables needed. For example- we provided all of the product pictures/l, descriptions, etc and showed Dark Matter Digital a website skeleton of what we were looking for.

Before this, we did not have a site that we sold products from so we can’t compare there. However, we did use to sell on Etsy. Based off our 4 months selling on Etsy vs selling on our site now for 1 month, we have seen a 65% increase in jump ropes sold in 1 month vs the 4 months of selling on Etsy.

We have had positive feedback on the website already. The information and interactive components that were added make it clear that this web designer knew how to build and rebuild a site with the customer in mind.

We emailed, spoke over the phone and made clear expectations from the beginning of the project. This company met our expectations and there was no need to go back and forth, once a piece was complete it was done perfectly and we simply moved into the next piece.

This company was far better than other organizations we’ve worked with. We were able to have one on one conversations to explain our ideas and get proper feedback.

Our website was originally created using Adobe Muse. We were finding it difficult to manage on a VPS so we needed it migrated to an easier to use platform. We also needed someone to do regular updates on our site, as well as with our SEO rankings.

After speaking with Brandon, we felt assured that we would be taken care of and that he understood our vision. His pricing was great and the amount of detail and design that he had accomplished for other sites that we viewed were beautiful.

We had one team conference with Brandon in the beginning and discussed our goals then he kind of took it from there. They were extremely quick and professional. I consider myself to be very picky and honestly there was very few edits that I made to his initial design.

Launch new website with a page for every suite in the Demetree portfolio.

Worked with Brandon on previous smaller projects. I knew based on that work that he would be able to step-up to the challenge.

This was a huge project to move the content of 100 webpages from Hubspot to a new wordpress theme.

What was the team composition?

The team included 3 from Demetree - leader, content writer and graphic artist. Brandon joined this team as a web developer and consultant. The project was a huge challenge with senior management within Demetree constantly changing design, content and functional requirements. Brandon was undeterred going with the flow to make sure we got the product that was needed.
