We saw a noticeable improvement in ROAS and a more consistent flow of conversions through paid channels. Our customer acquisition costs dropped while our overall revenue from ads improved.

For the most part, deliverables were completed on time. There were occasional delays on content-heavy tasks, but they were transparent and proactive about communicating timelines.

We’re a coworking space business for startups, freelancers, and entrepreneurs. We mostly place ourselves in the outskirts of Montreal, so instead of being at the city center, many of our places are in downtown Montreal. Our company tries to position ourselves closer to home especially with the COVID-19 pandemic happening. 

While we help businesses use our spaces, our team is also focused on communities, networking, and connecting with others. We have three locations right now, and we also have a partner in eastern Montreal, where we’ve recently opened a new space.

What challenge were you trying to address with Courimo?

We hired Courimo to help us with our SEO performance. Specifically, we wanted to be on the first page of Google. Previously, we were on page eight. With this effort, people looking for coworking spaces in Montreal would find us on the internet.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Our plan of action starts with getting keywords that our target audience recognizes. We try to hit those keywords and bump ourselves up that way. Courimo also optimizes our Google My Business page for us to implement our SEO efforts, aiming to get more traction for our website. 

For context, our website has been doing decently, but it’s not that attractive. As a result, another company is handling the website. Meanwhile, Courimo is trying their best to boost our reach and SEO numbers based on the website’s quality, and they’ve been in communication with the other company. They’ve also answered our other questions related to the website and worked on our PPC campaigns.

Elie was a member of our coworking space, and that was how we met him. We found out that he was good at SEO, and we decided to try his company’s services out.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Courimo has truly helped us. In fact, around 80% of inquiries and calls to our business come from Google now — we’re on the first page of search results for coworking spaces. We’ve also seen an increase in general online visibility, especially in the last couple of weeks when people are looking for offices. 

How did Courimo perform from a project management standpoint?

Elie has been great in terms of scheduling, and Courimo keeps track of everything they say they’ll do. They also complete projects on time, so we have no complaints about that aspect. To communicate, we meet in person. Anytime we call them for a meeting, they prepare results and analytics that show us how we’re doing. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Courimo is great to communicate with, and they can do things that other companies cannot. For context, I’ve used another company with a five-person team before. That company handled our SEO and website, but we saw no traction on our website, SEO, or social media — nothing was happening.  

By contrast, Courimo is great. Elie works with other people for certain things, but he’s essentially a one-man show that produces good results. On top of that, he charges half the price of the five-person team we previously used, and we’re seeing more results with him.

No, there aren’t any.

Courimo is a great company. As a result, see Elie as soon as possible, and let him know what you want. If you specifically tell him everything you want for your business, he’ll perform well.

I’m the marketing director of Otodata Tank Monitors, a manufacturer of remote monitors.

What challenge were you trying to address with Courimo?

We needed SEO and PPC services. We were trying to do it internally, but we realized that we needed some external help.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Courimo provides us with SEO and PPC services, and we’ve worked together on our campaigns, targeting the Canadian and the US markets. Initially, we also worked closely together on research for them to understand our industry better. We spent some time discovering our key competitors and the needs of our customers.

After the research phase, we started with SEO campaigns. Over time, we developed a good relationship, so we started launching Google Ads. All the paid campaigns direct the customers to our website, where we have a contact form.

Aside from that, Courimo sends me a report every month that we analyze together, and they take their time to explain everything because we’re not familiar with this space. Additionally, they create written content, and I review it before publishing it.

We work with three people from Courimo. The owner of the company is the main project manager and my main point of contact. I’ve also worked with a project manager for the SEO side and a project manager for Google Ads.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Early on, I learned that it takes time to get results from SEO. However, everything is working well; it’s been seven months, and we’re now seeing the results. Our leads have increased by 120%, and our organic traffic has grown by 300%, so I’m very happy with their work.

How did Courimo perform from a project management standpoint?

Courimo is always available, and I have a good relationship with them. They send us reports with the leads and conversions, and they take the time to explain everything.

We’ve also worked on the budget together. I told them what I could spend, and they played with the numbers to give me a proposal. In November 2021, we may increase the budget.

We communicate via phone calls, text messages, email, and Microsoft Teams; they’re available through any tool I want to use. I also met with the owner in person once.

Courimo is professional, available, and very efficient.

Our website has gotten an increase in users of 160%+ over same period last year. We have been able to track conversions and lead acquisition generating new opportunities for us with a good ROI.

We had several discovery meetings to discuss our objectives and the vision we had for the site in terms of style, look etc. Courimo came back with multiple templates for us to review and choose from once we had the template we were looking for, we moved forward with the development and design; held regular follow up meetings, quality control at each stage etc, until the project was complete and approved, at which point we set a launch date.

the developer was very knowledgeable and professional; quick to response; very patient with our requirements, changes and some of the internal challenges I faced in getting each stage of the project approved. the team was very professional at every step of the way.

I’m a plastic surgeon and the president of my plastic surgery clinic.

What challenge were you trying to address with Courimo?

We’re in a competitive market, and we needed to have a strong online presence.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We were just starting out, and I had moved from Vancouver to Montreal. I had a website, but all the SEO that had been done was no longer relevant or applicable.

They came on board to try and optimize our online presence to promote our business. They had recommended starting with Google Ads. They would call me every month and give me the statistics on the calls and the number of clicks we were getting on Google Ads in addition to how we were ranking on certain keywords. It took about a year to get the SEO to where I was appearing in the top three names in searches. 

As things got busier, they also tried to come up with things that could improve. We did a little bit of social media management with them for about a year and then my assistant took that over because she went from part-time to full-time. They provided us with a reputation manager who gets all the names and emails of patients who are happy, and she helps to make sure that they leave a positive review both on Google and on RateMDs.com. They also started adding blogs once a month to promote SEO and further our reach.

I have worked with four people from their team. We had one main point of contact and an SEO specialist, as well as a social media person.

Elie (Founder & CEO) reached out to me because he knew my brother. It was perfect timing because I was looking for a new vendor as I was not happy with the person I had hired. I liked Elie's approach and transparency.

We ask patients how they find us, and 80% of the time they say it was a Google search.

How did Courimo perform from a project management standpoint?

They’ve been excellent. I think they are very good at setting a timeline and keeping me on track because I am very busy. They will let me know when a blog post is ready and want me to check to make sure they can post it. 

They are also very good at giving me their report every month. If they don’t hear from me in a while, they will contact me to make sure that I looked at the report and that there aren’t any things they need to change.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re transparent. They set goals and they tell me what metrics I need to look at in order to say that I have reached my goal. They are also very easy to access. They are never too busy to answer my questions. If we get a bad review, they will be the ones to pick it up. They are on the ball. They have a lot of clients and being on top of every client I imagine is a challenge, but I have been very happy.

No, I have been very happy with them. I can’t think of anything they can do more.

I think it is all about how much you put in. The more questions you ask and the more content you give them, the more you’ll get out of it.

We needed help with our marketing. I had someone helping me previously with my PPC, but it wasn’t updated constantly.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They manage our PPC campaign. They revise it every couple of days. They add the negatives and keywords and search for more ways to market in other platforms of Google. They set up the Google Shopping ads.

How did you come to work with Courimo?

I found them through a Google search. I met with Elie (Founder and CEO, Courimo). He knew what he was doing and pitched me. He checked my current campaign and told me exactly what needed to be done. We got started right away. I didn’t look elsewhere.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent $6,000. We pay 10% of what we spend on AdWords to Courimo. From January to the end of May, we spent $60,000 on AdWords.

We started working together in January 2018 and the work is ongoing.

The cost per acquisition lowered dramatically. Our marketing costs significantly less. The click-through rate increased; it’s optimized a lot better than what it was. Our ad ranks are higher, which made our cost per click lower. It was exactly what we needed.

How did Courimo perform from a project management standpoint?

I can see what they do every day on my Google AdWords. Every time I need something changed, they’re always here. I call Elie and he answers. He’s local, and it’s easy to get in contact with him. They always satisfy my needs.

They were driven to improve sales. They want to make things better so they can get more contracts with me. The other companies I worked with didn’t put in as much effort as Courimo is doing.They’re up-to-date on digital marketing, and they do it well.

I’m the VP of Jivago Fragrances, a fragrance house and manufacturer based in Beverly Hills, California. We have over 120 employees worldwide across divisions in the Middle East, Europe, the U.K., the U.S., and South America.

What challenge were you trying to address with Courimo?

We needed a more focused Google AdWords campaign. We’re using another company for social media marketing, but wanted a more sophisticated solution for PPC.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Courimo works together with out other agency to increase our brand's exposure. They run a Google AdWords strategy in different areas so that we can drive traffic through our e-commerce store and make more sales.

We’re currently in the process of completely rebuilding the brand’s website, so we will be running a campaign to drive traffic to that. Cuorimo will work hand-in-hand with us for this so that the rebuild is completely optimized for Google from the beginning.

Our biggest challenge was allotting a big budget toward AdWords. They’ve helped us feel more at ease with this by showing us how it’s going to be a success. They’ve gotten a fair amount of traffic to the site already.

They were referred to us by the other agency we’re working with. They seem to do a lot of work with them in general, so we decided to give them a chance since their pricing was attractive.

We’re set up to work with them for a year. Not counting ad spend, the cost has been roughly $1,500 per month. In the beginning, we were spending $500–$700 a month on ad spend, but that’s going to increase as we go. The cost for one year is going to be $15,000–$18,000.

I believe that we officially started working together at the beginning of 2018.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Everything is going well so far. In the past, we’ve spent $500 a month on Google AdWords and it yielded us zero sales. All of our sales came from influencers and social media campaigns. Now, we are starting to see online sales increase.

What’s really interesting is that we’re starting to see a new demographic. The challenge with selling fragrances online is that you can't smell the product before purchasing it, but online sales have gone up regardless thanks to Cuorimo's efforts.

I have the impression that they’re eager to be working with us. Their service has been really good.

When we began, we did not know anything about Google AdWords and we were very nervous to get started. As a result, we initial signed Courimo to a three-month contract and told them that we needed to make $3 for every dollar spent. Not only were they able to deliver, but we have seen our sales grow by 15% since working with them, and have signed them to a new year-long contract.

They are very good. We communicate over phone and email, but they will also come in and meet with us at a moment’s notice. Their communication and availability has been fantastic.

Previously, we worked with another company that had helped us with Google AdWords, but we didn’t have good results. We needed help with advertising for our business.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They help us with paid advertising. Courimo makes sure that our website has all the keywords that customers are searching to make sure that we rank at the top of Google searches, ahead of the competition. They also let us know of new trends that people are searching for, which gives us the opportunity for new rentals.

Since we began working with them, we have only had good results. Compared to what we had previously, tent rentals, for example, increased by about a 50%, which is great. Phone calls also increased and we had to hire two more people.

Every four weeks, they gave us updates on the results and improvement to give us a recap of how the advertising is going. They keep us up-to-date. If there is something I am unsure of, they make sure I understand and that we’re on the same page.
