They delivered hundreds of name ideas, vetted them through web searches and copyright searches, and also guided our team through the ranking/voting process to hone in on our favorites

The primary objective of this project was an overhaul of our corporate website. This included page layout and organization, selection of visuals and overall aesthetic, copywriting support, compliance and security, SEO guidance, as well as support for our news section.

Our new website is more dynamic with a modern look and feel to it. The customer interface is fluid and intuitive. From a technical perspective, the website clearly articulates are reason to be as an organization while not feeling too heavy in terms of content.

The Costello Group team was very aware of the timeline we agreed upon and always kept us on track. If any changes to the timeline needed to be made, by either party, there was always transparent discussion and alignment. At no time did we feel that we were moving too slow or things were not progressing. The team really took the time to ensure we understood every aspect of the process to ensure we were making the right decisions.

The team members on the Custom Essence side really appreciated the transparency and collaboration on this project. We are not experts in this area and the Costello Group team really spent time to make sure we were completely clear on each step of the process and always presented options to us. They also were open to feedback and changes if we felt something wasn't quite right. 

The team is very creative and there is a clear expertise as it pertains to web design and marketing, the latter being as important as the goal was always to try and communicate how we can help our clients and not just about who we are.

Project Metric was that the team of executives (decision makers) decided to launch the new site. We had already been through one team and decided to start from scratch.

They were extremely communicative throughout the entire process: when to expect each deliverable, if there was any change in timeline, what they needed from us and what to expect from them. We were very pleased throughout at how accessible they were and how quickly they responded to us!

Something I found to be very important with CCG was that they have a diversified team. When it comes time to do graphic design, you are working with a graphic designer! Not a copywriter trying to do graphic design, and vice versa lol. It was very useful to hear the perspective of a professional in THEIR field with each step of the process, whether SEO, Graphic Design, Copywriting, Web Designer etc.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Costello Creative Group could have done differently?

There were some obstacles to overcome during our project with how our company executives prefer to work and how CCG operates (no discredit to either), however, these were known going into our project and point persons were chosen to spearhead communication between the teams which greatly helped iron things out as they arose. Overall, our website is up with CCG's name at the bottom, and we are pleased with the outcome!

Marotta partnered with Costello Creative Group to redesign an informational brochure which included a comprehensive overview of our new benefits program as well as additional "work perks". As our company grows our benefits package has broadened to include a wider range of options to remain competitive amongst other companies in our area. 

The goal for this project was to educate our current employees with an "at a glance" overview of what is available to them as well as a recruiting tool for candidates. Key deliverable was a 4 page brochure with exciting visuals and to convert paragraphs of text into infographics.

Measurable outcome was a 4 page brochure that met the design expectations of this specific project (clean cut design, easy to follow/understand, fit in all required content).

What challenge were you trying to address with Costello Creative?

We had designed our website with another service provider, but it had no copy. Moreover, we didn’t feel that we had the right homepage, and the design overall wasn’t truly speaking to our customers — it felt as if something was missing. Thus, one of our main concerns was getting a beautiful brand-new website up.

Costello Creative Group is a consultant on the seven-part marketing framework developed by Donald Miller, called The StoryBrand 7-Part Framework (or SB7 Framework). Thus, they can create sites and homepages using that framework. We really liked the idea behind this approach to marketing, so we hired them to help us out.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Costello Creative Group helped us create all the content for our site’s home page. To do this, they first conducted a series of interviews with our whole team to learn more about our target market. We already knew very well our buyer persona, so we explained it very well to them, and they crafted a message around that.

We liked the result so much that we then tasked Costello Creative Group to create all the content for every single page on our site. Additionally, they helped us with some website redesign pieces and small redevelopment tasks. As part of those tasks, they created two landing pages using Unbounce.

We started working together on this project in December 2021, and it lasted around two months. However, we’ve kept working with Costello Creative Group on a lot of other projects.

Costello Creative Group did a great job writing all of our website content and verbiage, which helped us a lot with our messaging. In 2022, our business grew by around 75%, and we believe that this project was a helpful part of that success.

Costello Creative Group performed very well in terms of communicating, meeting deadlines, and staying on budget. We had Zoom calls every once in a while throughout the engagement.
