• No person or organization is going to get it right every time all the time - especially with the level of complexity involved nowadays - the thing that impressed us most is that when things weren't going 100% correctly, they really worked to get it fixed and made all the necessary adjustments to get things back on track from our perspective.  Few companies these days lead with a 'we will make it right' attitude - it's a great cultural alignment between our two companies ;)  Making it right for the customer is alive a well at Consultus Digital!

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Consultus Digital has successfully created and managed ads throughout the year, and we've seen successful returns and clear deliverables. The ongoing management is still in the works. The team has been able to take our Google Ads and Meta Ads and scale them from $1,000 per month to almost $30,000 per month with considerable success, maintaining a high 10+ ROAS in certain months. Our sales have increased as a direct result of traffic driven by the ads.

We needed to determine how to move our company forward with the right digital platform. We also needed to develop a website to support the exercise program and promote the new program with digital tools.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Initially, Consultus Digital reviewed our existing program and provided a SWOT analysis. They also provided a full report identifying our strengths and weaknesses. Currently, they’re completing our new website, helping us find our new exercise platform, and developing an initial online marketing campaign.

We’ve improved client satisfaction with the new platform. We’ve also been able to attract 10+ practitioners to join our project and prepare for the launch of the full website in the next few weeks. We’ve measured these results through surveys and direct communication with users through emails.

No, there aren’t any. We’ve had to work through some challenges, such as when the first proposals were too broad for my budget. However, they’ve been excellent at finding a solution that meets our needs.

Consultus Digital has implemented online contracts through Zoho, invoicing, and seamless payment collection. The team has also done some backend work, including fixing issues we had from previous consultants. For example, they've developed a property module and linked it to Zoho Books.

Consultus Digital is willing to get a thorough understanding of our CRM before making the requested changes. The system needed some cleanup before we could move forward, and the team didn't just jump in and do the requested work, as others had tried to do.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Consultus Digital Inc delivered creative proofs. On November 28, this company unlawfully accessed my domain hosting and WordPress account and deleted creative content that I owned and had fully paid for. This was done in retaliation for a disputed management-fee invoice. Their actions constituted unauthorized access, tampering, and interference with intellectual property. Legal action is being pursued.

The service issues began long before this incident. The campaign launch was riddled with avoidable errors: the wrong ad versions were published, formatting issues were left unresolved, and multiple content mistakes required repeated corrections. Despite these problems, the company attempted to bill for campaign management before the campaign even launched and then issued charges for two months of service even though they only actively managed a single month. To make matters worse, the campaign failed to produce even one lead.

Based on their performance, conduct, and the subsequent unauthorized access to my accounts, I cannot recommend this company to anyone.

Consultus Digital Inc was disorganized, slow to deliver, and didn’t provide enough support. We communicated via virtual meetings, email, and messaging apps.

What did you find most impressive or unique about them?

There was nothing impressive about Consultus Digital Inc.

Are there any areas they could improve?

 We don't have any constructive criticism.

We see this engagement very differently and want to share our perspective for readers.

This client, Chrysalis Construction, engaged us in late 2024 through CDAP, a government-subsidized program in which we served as approved digital advisors. Together, we developed a strategy to launch an ADU-focused sub-brand, positioning Chrysalis as an end-to-end provider across design, construction, permits, financing, and tenant placement. You then hired us to build and execute it — an approximately four-month scope covering website development, copywriting, landing pages, advertising setup, and tracking.

The timeline extended well beyond that, largely due to prolonged non-response and invoices left unpaid for several months despite repeated follow-ups, which forced us to pause work.

We categorically deny accessing, tampering with, or deleting any content unlawfully. Any platform access used credentials and permissions your team provided to deliver the contracted work, and ownership of your website and content remained with you throughout.

Near launch, you asked to pause the ADU campaigns and pivot to luxury renovations. We advised against it but proceeded on your instruction. Ads then ran roughly two weeks on limited spend and were stopped before exiting the learning phase, so any performance conclusions don't reflect a fully launched, optimized campaign.

We also hold a firm standard of respectful communication toward our team and addressed conduct concerns directly during the project.

Two days after our final call, this review was posted alongside notice that outstanding balances would not be paid.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We selected this vendor after reviewing multiple digital marketing Agencies. After short listing the top 3 agencies, Consultus Digital's presented strategy was the most thoughtful and realistic. Their data-backed research along with their outside-the-box creative thinking showed us that it was a no brainer they were up for the task.

When we first engaged with Consultus Digital, their process was to analyze the current state of our online presence and digital advertising with an in-depth audit. Once the faults of our current strategy were uncovered, Consultus provided us with a proposed strategy along with timelines for completion and project costs. Once we signed an agreement, CD got to work, met all their deadlines and delivered top-notch service.

We worked with their director of strategy, PPC specialist, content manager, account manager and project management director.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Once we launched a new website with e-commerce capabilities along with extensive SEO work, our CTR increase 110% over 6 months. Online sales increased over 500% YoY.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The workflow between consultus and our internal team was very effective. The project manager was transparent about the progress of each project. Given the number of projects we had on the go at once, we were very thankful the the PM was organized, efficient, and met deadlines.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

What impressed us most about Consultus Digital Inc is that every strategy or idea presented to us is truly bespoke. In my experience within the industry, i'v witnessed many agencies sell templated, one size fits all solutions to businesses. This is not the case with Consultus - their work is thoughtful and original.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Consultus has provided great value to our business, though there is room for improvement in editing copy writing.

I'm the owner of an ecommerce business in the legal field for corporate services such as incorporation, registration, amendments, cancelations and searching existing businesses.

We had dealt with a digital marketing competitor for a number of years and we weren't getting as much traction as needed to keep up with our highly competitive industry. Our google ads were old and hadn't been refreshed, our socials didn't get much attention and we weren't offered much priority or direction to increase our market share.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I knew one person on this new team who was my account manager a few years ago at the previous digital marketing company I dealt with. She was the only person who was engaged and worked diligently on my account. When she left, I was very upset. She reached out regarding this new company she was part of a few years later and I felt it would be a good new beginning after years of being with the other company where I wasn't happy.

Consultus started by addressing my current branding, marketing, digital ads to get an idea of how the company was perceived. The costs to revenues of our existing digital marketing. They provided a roadmap to implementing new branding to increase our appeal, updated and increased our google ads, provided new video's for our facebook ads, adding tik tok and increased our exposure and assets in social media. They also increased our exposure in youtube by adding new engaging video's.

We worked with each leader of the teams including an overall account manager who is dedicated to the overall account and is in each meeting with the heads of the other departments including ads manager, social media manager, video' manager and CRO manager and email marketer. Each team member seems to have years of experience in their perspective field and have not only increased our sales but have brought to the table new ideas to increase new leads and revenues.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Our CTR for google ads has gone from 2% to 3.8% in a matter of months. Our socials have increased 25% with fewer weekly targets, our youtube channel has gained much higher number of views with the addition of a number of new videos' and our overall sales have increased by 20%. in less than a year.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We have scheduled online meetings every two weeks with the team overall. I, personally am very involved in watching each area of the business and will send email correspondence to the account manager whenever I have a concern. We also communicate via telephone a few times a month. I see the team in person every few months to have a sit down and to create new videos' and ideas. The team performs exceptionally well and delivers what they promise. After each meeting I am sent an email detailing the planned actions and as those actions are completed, I am emailed confirming the changes or completion of the tasks. We have just increased our spend with Consultus to expand further with our digital marketing.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I have been in business for many years, and what stood out about this team was their hunger to be great at what they do. They are also very professional and very competent. I like giving my business to other Canadian business owners, its important and this team is in Toronto Canada and working hard for Canadians. They are very active in staying at the forefront of new trends and will often reach out to tell me about new digital marketing techniques or options that they think will be a game changer and how we can use this new tool in our benefit.

They could have started sooner and I believe with their help, our business could have expanding much faster if they had.
