I'm the manager for Comwave Networks. We sell Internet, TV and Home phone services to Canadians across the Nation.

We hired Consultus Digital to improve our online presence and lead generation through a variety of new channels and tactics including designing and developing a new website, Google Search and Display ads, SEO, and Social Media Ads and Management.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We selected this vendor after reviewing multiple digital marketing Agencies. After short listing the top 3 agencies, Consultus Digital's presented strategy was the most thoughtful and realistic. Their data-backed research along with their outside-the-box creative thinking showed us that it was a no brainer they were up for the task.

When we first engaged with Consultus Digital, their process was to analyze the current state of our online presence and digital advertising with an in-depth audit. Once the faults of our current strategy were uncovered, Consultus provided us with a proposed strategy along with timelines for completion and project costs. Once we signed an agreement, CD got to work, met all their deadlines and delivered top-notch service.

We worked with their director of strategy, PPC specialist, content manager, account manager and project management director.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Once we launched a new website with e-commerce capabilities along with extensive SEO work, our CTR increase 110% over 6 months. Online sales increased over 500% YoY.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The workflow between consultus and our internal team was very effective. The project manager was transparent about the progress of each project. Given the number of projects we had on the go at once, we were very thankful the the PM was organized, efficient, and met deadlines.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

What impressed us most about Consultus Digital Inc is that every strategy or idea presented to us is truly bespoke. In my experience within the industry, i'v witnessed many agencies sell templated, one size fits all solutions to businesses. This is not the case with Consultus - their work is thoughtful and original.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Consultus has provided great value to our business, though there is room for improvement in editing copy writing.

I'm the owner of an ecommerce business in the legal field for corporate services such as incorporation, registration, amendments, cancelations and searching existing businesses.

We had dealt with a digital marketing competitor for a number of years and we weren't getting as much traction as needed to keep up with our highly competitive industry. Our google ads were old and hadn't been refreshed, our socials didn't get much attention and we weren't offered much priority or direction to increase our market share.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I knew one person on this new team who was my account manager a few years ago at the previous digital marketing company I dealt with. She was the only person who was engaged and worked diligently on my account. When she left, I was very upset. She reached out regarding this new company she was part of a few years later and I felt it would be a good new beginning after years of being with the other company where I wasn't happy.

Consultus started by addressing my current branding, marketing, digital ads to get an idea of how the company was perceived. The costs to revenues of our existing digital marketing. They provided a roadmap to implementing new branding to increase our appeal, updated and increased our google ads, provided new video's for our facebook ads, adding tik tok and increased our exposure and assets in social media. They also increased our exposure in youtube by adding new engaging video's.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

We worked with each leader of the teams including an overall account manager who is dedicated to the overall account and is in each meeting with the heads of the other departments including ads manager, social media manager, video' manager and CRO manager and email marketer. Each team member seems to have years of experience in their perspective field and have not only increased our sales but have brought to the table new ideas to increase new leads and revenues.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Our CTR for google ads has gone from 2% to 3.8% in a matter of months. Our socials have increased 25% with fewer weekly targets, our youtube channel has gained much higher number of views with the addition of a number of new videos' and our overall sales have increased by 20%. in less than a year.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We have scheduled online meetings every two weeks with the team overall. I, personally am very involved in watching each area of the business and will send email correspondence to the account manager whenever I have a concern. We also communicate via telephone a few times a month. I see the team in person every few months to have a sit down and to create new videos' and ideas. The team performs exceptionally well and delivers what they promise. After each meeting I am sent an email detailing the planned actions and as those actions are completed, I am emailed confirming the changes or completion of the tasks. We have just increased our spend with Consultus to expand further with our digital marketing.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I have been in business for many years, and what stood out about this team was their hunger to be great at what they do. They are also very professional and very competent. I like giving my business to other Canadian business owners, its important and this team is in Toronto Canada and working hard for Canadians. They are very active in staying at the forefront of new trends and will often reach out to tell me about new digital marketing techniques or options that they think will be a game changer and how we can use this new tool in our benefit.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

They could have started sooner and I believe with their help, our business could have expanding much faster if they had.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Consultus Digital Inc delivered creative proofs. On November 28, this company unlawfully accessed my domain hosting and WordPress account and deleted creative content that I owned and had fully paid for. This was done in retaliation for a disputed management-fee invoice. Their actions constituted unauthorized access, tampering, and interference with intellectual property. Legal action is being pursued.

The service issues began long before this incident. The campaign launch was riddled with avoidable errors: the wrong ad versions were published, formatting issues were left unresolved, and multiple content mistakes required repeated corrections. Despite these problems, the company attempted to bill for campaign management before the campaign even launched and then issued charges for two months of service even though they only actively managed a single month. To make matters worse, the campaign failed to produce even one lead.

Based on their performance, conduct, and the subsequent unauthorized access to my accounts, I cannot recommend this company to anyone.

How did Consultus Digital Inc perform from a project management standpoint?

Consultus Digital Inc was disorganized, slow to deliver, and didn’t provide enough support. We communicated via virtual meetings, email, and messaging apps.

What did you find most impressive or unique about them?

There was nothing impressive about Consultus Digital Inc.

They could have not conducted fraud.
