SeaForester engaged the services of Concealed, Unipessoal Lda to redesign and implement an upgraded version of its website with a focus on delivering a modern, professional, and user-friendly online presence. The scope of work included comprehensive project management, UI/UX design, and front-end implementation. The new website was structured as a multi-page static site, transitioning away from the previous one-page layout. Key sections developed included: Landing, Why, How, Projects (with pagination, filtering, and search), About Us, Resources, News (listing and individual pages), Contact Us, and Error pages. Additional modules included the integration of a Content Management System (CMS), initially for managing news page, and multilingual functionality, adaptable for both static and CMS-based content sources. The deliverables also encompassed a fully responsive website optimized for Chrome, Safari, and Firefox, alongside developer instructions for content updates, and access to all original design files and code repositories upon project completion

Their team was highly responsive, answering questions and resolving doubts almost immediately, which helped streamline decision-making and kept the project moving smoothly. They also showed great flexibility, always being available to adjust designs or features quickly to meet SeaForester’s evolving needs. Thanks to their proactive approach and responsiveness, deliverables were handled efficiently and the workflow felt both collaborative and well-organized. Their attentiveness and commitment to aligning the work with our vision significantly contributed to the success of the project.

Concealed has built a very responsive, modern website and has provided great support for it from before conception until now. The team has also been developing our app to fit our needs and increase our efficiency and productivity.

Regarding features and functionality, the website has dynamic content and integrates with our schedules, streaming services, and project management tools. The app is connected to our Microsoft system, allowing our students to log in easily and safely. It also runs on all browsers and devices, including phones.

We needed help building an app for our marketplace and a portal for vendors to be able to sub,it, place and manage their products.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Concealed has developed our app's entire infrastructure and coding, aligning it with our existing browser shop. The team has also created the UI/UX design and implemented our browser shop's features. Concealed has developed our Vendor Portal.

Concealed's work has made installing our add-ons into the flight simulator a one-click process, which is a big step up in user-friendliness. We've also seen a reduction in user support work because of the new vendor portal.

Concealed has been helping us design and develop a web app. We were so impressed with their work that we continued to work with them on several iOS and Android apps. Their work has included everything from designs, prototypes, and code to detailed documentation. We’ve created apps that follow modern, component-driven best practices. Features have included login, create, read, update, and delete functionality, along with complex checkout, registration, and data initiatives.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

A big part of our success has been modernization, performance, and customer satisfaction. We’ve seen improvements in development time, documentation, and cross-collaboration. We’ve gained stakeholder and executive trust almost immediately. We’ve measured customer satisfaction through qualitative and quantitative testing, interviews, and surveys throughout our development process, beta, and into full live releases. We’ve seen resounding passing scores. The deliverables were key. It is not an overstatement, they are the best. Don’t hesitate, at a minimum just get a quote from them.

How did Concealed perform from a project management standpoint?

Concealed’s communication and dedication to our project have been why I’ve loved working with their team. They’ve helped the entire product and development teams implement legitimate agile practices and modern processes. Software development always comes with roadblocks. The key is that Concealed knows what to do and how to handle each difficult situation. They’ve been able to communicate and outline clear plans of action to resolve any challenges we’ve had to tackle.  I trust whatever quote or recommendations they give from now on.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The skill of Concealed’s employees has been the most impressive. I couldn’t believe how they’ve been able to keep us staffed with employees that have outperformed their titles. Even when rotating our team members, we’ve been able to maintain fast-paced development and design.
