We started off by defining the goals of the project from web design, to layouts, to templates. We went over all the aspects of the website and got one or 2 drafts before receiving the final product. It was a quick and very satisfying process.

We searched online and shortlisted two developers. I met with compuvision team and decided to work with them for their wide experience, cost, and competence.

We met with Compuvision and presented what we need from them. We met with the designer, and they started developing the mobile app. They regularly sent us updated version to give them our comments and were flexible in correcting what is needed.

The owner of Compuvision (Fares) was always on board. We worked with the designer and two developers regularly as well.

We received very good feedback about the functionality of the mobile application

Compuvision is very responsive, answering our requests the same day usually. Online meetings and phone calls were our main methods of communication

They are professional and responsive. They focused on our satisfaction with their work throughout the project, which led to great results.

The designing team was not very responsive at the beginning, but we talked to the management and they were quick to resolve the situation and continue the work smoothly.

What challenge were you trying to address with COMPU-VISION S.A.R.L.?

We wanted to have a proper website because most of our business comes through it.

What was the scope of their involvement?

COMPU-VISION was responsible for the design and development of our website. The process started with a team meeting. We explained our idea, and they laid out their plan. After that, they proceeded with the design and development. We didn’t provide mockups or documentation.

The site has CMS and e-commerce functionalities. They built it to have typical payment integration with VISA, Mastercard, and PayPal. It also includes one for crypto — customers get discounts when they pay with it.

What is the team composition?

The project manager was our main point of contact, but I’m not sure what the team size was.

How did you come to work with COMPU-VISION S.A.R.L.?

We did some research and found COMPU-VISION. We chose them because they understood all of our requirements and our project even more than we did. I could see that they knew what they were doing.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent around $7,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from January–March 2021.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We haven’t had any issues so far. However, we’re still in soft launch because we want to make sure that everything is running correctly.

We’ve received very good feedback from friends and family — they’ve said that the website is straightforward, simple to use, and fast.

How did COMPU-VISION S.A.R.L. perform from a project management standpoint?

During the development, we had weekly Zoom calls to check the schedule, discuss any changes, and make sure COMPU-VISION was adhering to our vision.

My main concern was the timeline, and they managed to complete everything on time. I was very satisfied with their performance.

From a budget point of view, it was a lump-sum project. Therefore, we agreed on what they had to do, and they did it. They didn’t overrun the budget or ask for something extra.

What did you find most impressive about them?

COMPU-VISION really understood our requirements from the beginning.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can’t think of anything that COMPU-VISION could improve on. They did really well on this project.

Any advice for potential customers?

You should make sure that COMPU-VISION understands your requirements from the beginning. In our case, they understood everything well, which made the project much easier. At the same time, it’s important to have weekly meetings in order to easily handle changes and avoid delays.
