Introduce your business and what you do there.
We provide mobile-assisted technology that makes mobile devices accessible for users with various disabilities. In addition to state and federal government programs, we provide our products directly to consumers.

What challenge were you trying to address with ComIT International?
We needed to develop specific software to implement into smartphones to enhance devices' accessibility. The final product’s a specialized phone for customers with memory loss.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
ComIT developed software for implementation into Android devices. They built an application to create a new environment for smartphone users. Their team also created an online administration portal, which allows users to control their devices’ settings. The portal was developed with Java. They also created backoffice components including a database. Providers can set up accounts, manage accounts, and activate or deactivate certain features.
What is the team composition?
Initially, we mostly worked with their CEO. Over time, we predominately worked with a project manager and various developers.
How did you come to work with ComIT International?
A partner recommended them to us. When we sought support for this project, our web development company suggested ComIT. We evaluated various shortlisted companies. On the quantitative side, on-time delivery’s important to us. Also, it’s important that we stay within the budget. Their team executes reasonably well against those measures. They deliver what we expect to receive.
Their team’s also helpful throughout the development process, all the way to product definition. They’re able to provide suggestions on how to set up a product or solution to be more efficient and user-friendly.
