Introduce your business and what you do there.

I work for E & J Cabinets, a custom cabinet shop. Everything we do is all US-made and US-sourced. I do residential design and some marketing and sales work here.

What challenge were you trying to address with Colorado SEO Design?

We hired them for a new website and SEO support. Our previous website had been hacked, so it was ranking poorly and we needed to shut it down and have a new one.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

They developed a new website for us from the ground up. Matt (CEO) had us show him the types of sites we liked and he steered us in the right direction. He put together the initial webpage, had us review it, and went ahead and put together all of the other pages after we said we loved it. He had us create some content, as far as verbiage and what we want to say about the company, and he gave us recommendations every step of the way. 

He made a fairly simplistic backend that makes it easy for me to upload photos and change it up regularly. With that, he did a tutorial to show me how to upload everything. For SEO, they mainly provide Google Ads support. 

What is the team composition?

Matt works as a one-man show. 

How did you come to work with Colorado SEO Design?

I’m part of a business networking group where I met them. I was able to see their work first hand and hired them based on the experience we’ve had together. 

How much have you invested with them?

Right now, we’re paying $500 per month. I believe the website was a couple of thousand dollars that we paid off over six months. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in July 2019 and we’re still working together for SEO and site updates.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Based on all the updates Matt sends us, we’re seeing all positive increases in site visits and our overall SEO. generally, we’ve seen growth in traffic and lead generation, too. Now we’re getting requests several times per week. We’re happy with the leads being generated and Matt’s overall service. 

How did Colorado SEO Design perform from a project management standpoint?

We get updates periodically from Matt. The only time things dragged a little bit was during some content creation tasks that took me a couple of days to do, but otherwise, Matt pushes things along very smoothly. He does an excellent job. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

He truly understands our opinions and cares about our vision for the business. Matt is a great listener and gets our message across based on conversations we’ve had. He wants to make sure everything is done to our satisfaction. Matt works tirelessly at what he’s doing, seven days a week. It shows that he cares about what he does, so he should keep doing what he’s doing. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

I honestly don’t think there’s anything to do better.

I experienced a major decrease in web traffic and sales after the 4Q 2019. The goal was to reverse this trend.

The goal was to eliminate factors which could interfere with web traffic and resulting sales. This was done through a combination of providing more efficient hosting and content delivery, and SEO efforts.

I started the year well below expectations on sales. After a short time, I observe the gap closing and in the end we were back on track!
