I’m the founder and design director of Limeapple, a clothing design and distribution company.

What challenge were you trying to address with CoExLogica, Ltd.?

We needed help with custom software development.

What was the scope of their involvement?

CoExLogica helped us develop a B2B e-commerce site with an inventory management system, where our customers can go and place orders. The inventory is linked to our warehouse system, so our customers get to see its activity live as articles move from the warehouse into our different distribution channels. This system helps them review our stock so that they can offer those articles in their stores.

We also have a Shopify e-commerce site for retail, but this system is only available for our wholesale customers. It also allows them to pre-order so that they can plan and coordinate the delivery to their stores. Whenever new customers call or email us looking to buy our products, we send them a link to our system, and they can then place their orders.

This project was done in three phases. In phase one, CoExLogica designed the B2B e-commerce website, where our customers could only place their orders. They could also see our inventory, but one of our staff members manually updated it twice a day.

In phase two, they integrated the site into our warehouse system, so people could see our inventory moving in real time from thereon. Finally, in phase three, they provided us with detailed reports and explained how we could see our customers’ activity. We now can see how many times a customer has bought our products and other similar information.

CoExLogica already finished the project, but we sometimes ask them for a modification. They continue to do changes and maintenance as needed.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Our B2B site is very user-friendly, and it is working beautifully; our wholesale customers love it. Many of them have asked us if they can show it to their other providers to make their other purchase processes easy as well.

I’m usually very picky, and people find it hard to work with me. However, CoExLogica is amazing, and they work very hard. I’m happy with what they’ve done — a great job for a very reasonable price.

How did CoExLogica, Ltd. perform from a project management standpoint?

Throughout the project, the project manager sent emails detailing everything he was planning to do. We also shared a Google Sheets spreadsheet where he put his timelines.

Overall, he’s very methodical, and it is easy to work with him. He helps everyone understand. We communicate via email 90% of the time, but we have a conference call once in a while.

What did you find most impressive about them?

CoExLogica’s project manager is very smart and understands everything we ask for; he has done a great job. He also makes sure that everything is clear and clarifies when needed. Additionally, he always gives us a lot of options to choose from.

CoExLogica were contracted to deliver an end to end digital solution for a lottery and raffle draw operator.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

The vendor was recommended to us by one of it’s satisfied customers.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

We initiated the project with a kick off meeting to understand our requirements. Thereafter, the Vendor sent us a couple of mock-ups that were closely related to our requirements. We then went through a couple of iterations to refine those mockups as well as the system architecture before commencing full development.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

I worked with a project manager, two front and back end developers, a digital marketer and a UX/UI designer.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The new look and feel of the website increased our conversation by over 85%.

The product was delivered using the Agile framework on an iterative and incremental basis, until a fully functional, user accepted product was developed and deployed.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

In additional to the amazing product the team at CoExLogica developed, they have constantly followed up with us post project implementation to understand how well they can continue to provide the best support for the business.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We encountered some bugs after deployment which is common in software development. In the end, the vendor was able to fix the bugs on time without any impact on the business.
