From CodeZilla, we had 2 resources, one for taking and analysing our requirements and the other was their designer to come up with the designs based out of those requirements.

We are currently getting our UK marketing strategy in place to showcase this project. However, we got the designs on par with our expectations and on the promised timeline. Something that we did not experience with other vendors.

Our work focuses on people’s rights, and we try to integrate technology into this as much as possible. Part of Codezilla’s work was for Nigeria’s 2019 elections.

Codezilla developed an Android and iOS app that monitored elections in Nigeria. We provided wireframes to them, and they consulted us on how to build features.

There were three people from our side working on this project. I mostly worked with Codezilla’s CEO, who managed the project with us.

Our organization used the data collected through the app to analyze the status of the election. I’m always hesitant to give metrics, since results are dependent on the level of communication we have with the team and what our demands are. I’d rate Codezilla as an 8/10.

We used Skype to assign tasks. They were always online and available to discuss matters with us, and they didn’t robotically handle issues. They had a flexible mindset around what we needed to implement, and they came up with good ideas.

The important part I found in working with them is that they have the flexibility to think outside the box.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The main outcome is a live system being, the system started off with 12 users and now has many hundreds of users. The robustness of the system allows for easy scaling, the system has been in use for over 7 years and is continuously growing as user demands grow. The system has allowed users to manage their time better to allow them to provide a better service to their stakeholders and increased revenue.

The project was assigned one PM who has always been with the project and has been a knowledgeable and dedicated indivdual. Clear deliverable were agreed with set timelines all of which were met. Any hurdles faced and all projects have hurdles were met with increased effort from everyone in the project team to ensure targets were achieved satisfactorily. Often ad hoc changes requested were accomodated and the PM and wider team were accomodating and able to adapt some changing demands.

The access to the team. Despite working in different countries the company always made themselves available when required. The professionalism of the staff is of the highest standards, because the company leadership is very dedicated to their craft this filters down to their staff. Working so closely with the company has mean long term friendships have formed which is a reflaction of how the company sees "your project" as "their project". There is not two sides. Just one big team.

Genuinely not much could have been improved in the work they did for us. Early on we wasted a small amount of time on the best way to monitor the project but this was largely down to our personal requirements. This was easily resolved once we started using some of the methods suggested by Codezilla. Apart from this no issues at all.
