The scope of areas of collaboration and deliverables are as follows:

1. Design of Multi-Tenant Architecture: This involves designing the software architecture to support multiple tenants for the B2B solution, ensuring that each tenant’s data is isolated and secure. 
2. Designing Monetization model: This involves IT consulting in choosing the pricing model for the software, such as implications for subscription-based or pay-per-use. 
3. Technology stack: This involves selecting the appropriate technology stack for the software, including programming languages, frameworks, and libraries. For mobile iOS and Android apps, initially with native coding and later migration to React Native. Website using Laravel framework, MongoDB, and PHP with some Jquery and Java. Implementation of phase 2 upgrades and migration to MongoAtlas as this new technology offered better opportunities for scaling. 
4. Minimum viable product (MVP): This involves developing a baseline version of the SaaS software with essential features to test the market and gather feedback from users. 
5. Launch, test, and improve: This involves the initial launch of the software, testing it for bugs and issues, and continuously improving it based on user feedback and new customer segments. Post MVP, a customer Data quality monitoring job was implemented as an early warning tool and for preventive data cleansing.

Deliverables have been within an acceptable 10% deviation of agreed timelines and costs. The product was implemented as per scope (design, data flows, and functions) and in expected quality.

The products are generally delivered on time, even when the scope changes during the build phase. The team has an agile style and is able to deal with changing requirements and propose alternative options on the fly. Following the MVP, we agreed to further develop major features in increments (2-4 month phases) and smaller usability features on the go with great collaboration between the testing and development teams.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Codewave has staff with various profiles to suit the situation (designer, architect, web or mobile developer) which are quickly onboarded and become a dedicated agile team. They are always quick to support my team should a stability issue or customer bug appear. This is a reliable partner throughout the lifecycle of my SaaS solution.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Codewave Technologies could have done differently?

This is a tough question. In the technology space, things are always changing. I feel I am able to consult Codewave in all areas, from strategy through to implementation, not least because the company owners are very approachable. I hope this collaboration mix will continue for years to come.

We wanted to create a mobile app for women to get emotional health support before and after pregnancy and childbirth and at the same time, connect with mental health professionals if the women needed further support. 

Our key deliverables were to create a hybrid app (since our users are global) that women could use to (anonymously) screen themselves, use text and audio journals, have access to community support, and find and book telehealth consultations with therapists. We also wanted to create a web app (admin portal) where we could moderate the community and the therapists could take control of their appointments and payments. 

Lastly, we wanted to create an app with the highest levels of privacy and security (GDPR compliant) since our users are in the EU and India.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Codewave Technologies delivered the above-mentioned mobile app with all the deliverables that we had specified. Creating a social app is not an easy task, but they delivered it along with all the features requested and more. We are currently working on the professionals part of the app and it is going along great as well and will be delivered on the specified time with all the features requested.

Codewave has demonstrated very good project management skills for our project. I had direct access to their project manager and this enabled a very agile way of working where we didn't need to wait for the next meetings to make the changes. They delivered items on time for the most part, and sometimes things were delayed due to scope creep. Overall I am very satisfied with their project management skills.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

What attracted me to this company initially was its combination of technical and design thinking skills. It demonstrated a mature way of approaching creating products with the end-users in mind. 

Subsequently, when I've started working with them more, their unique culture has impressed me, where everyone is empowered to push back and voice their opinions, which leads to the creation of a much superior app because there is genuine ownership, and it feels more like a partnership than a client-customer relationship. Finally, I liked the approachability and professionalism of the team as a whole.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Codewave Technologies could have done differently?

I think they have done an exceptional job already. The only improvement I would suggest is to be more deliberate in setting timelines. It is better to ask for more time and deliver early than the latter. Having said that, it has not been a major issue.

Their Team Skill, Nikhil, Rabya, Fuzail were always agile and always available for calls/meetings. They worked in a structured manner to complete the Job which was impressive.

Status reports every week would have been great, but not a big deal. They were always available for discussion.

We needed help with development.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Codewave Technologies (Codewave) developed the login portal for students and schools from scratch.  The platform will be enabled for the entire education segment starting from kindergarten. Codewave used easily scalable technologies for millions of users to build the website. They did all the designs and flows on the site and developed the iOS and Android applications.

There were different types of logins, analytics, and dashboards for the website. The login portal was integrated in the website and mobile apps. For the first year, we’re launching for 8th–10th grade for science and math. Schools give the login to the students, and students can learn through the pre recorded videos, graphical animations, and written notes by the teachers. They can also see their grades.

On the other hand, parents get weekly reports on how their child is performing, while the school can see how many students are learning, what the login times are, and if they’re logging in properly. Everything is on a single screen.

The mobile apps are used by students, parents, school admins, and school teachers. Additionally, there’s a master login for our company.

What is the team composition?

We were in contact with the project manager, both UI and UX contacts, a user requirement contact, someone on the analytics side, and someone on the development side. There were 7–8 heads of the business and 25–35 people in total.

How did you come to work with Codewave Technologies?

We did a Google search, called about 20 companies, and asked them to present. We had different parameters; one of them was looking at their past customers’ feedback. Most of the companies did a faster job, but every one of Codewave's clients were extremely happy.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent $120,000.

We worked together from February–May 2021.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

When it came to development, they knew what was in the market and how we should accommodate that to the product. They delivered on time and provided constant updates. I was very happy with what they did for us; they added a lot of value to our product.

Also, the team respected our domain, and the UI people were very in-depth.

How did Codewave Technologies perform from a project management standpoint?

The project manager was in charge of looking after the technologies they were using, future scalabilities, how user-friendly it was, and giving input. They kept us informed at every stage and met targets before the deadline.

We used Slack, Jira, and Skype for communication. We received daily updates, so everything was tracked every day. Since we’re a startup, sometimes my payment was delayed for 2–3 weeks, but they never called me on it.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They delivered 100% of what they promised.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, I was happy with what I received. I didn’t think there was any flaw.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I’d be more than happy to recommend them to any of my contacts looking for any sort of development, but you have to be clear with what you want and give them a free hand.

They don’t like poking, so don’t keep changing your requirements and let them work the way they want. They’ll deliver in less time than promised.

Develop a convenience App for consumers who want to track Job posts on multiple job sites so they keep track of what jobs are made available that matches their predefined criteria.

What were your goals for this project?

We wanted to realize our concept as a Mobile App with Web App and make it available for users. We needed also to enable Carrier Billing for customers to use in case they had no credit card to use.

SOLUTION

How did you select Codewave Technologies?

We had a due diligence process for more than 15 companies. That included face to face meetings and discussions,face to face interviews, and references' check. Codewave was our choice for the project.

We want to realize the concept into a working App (Mobile and Web) where customers finds it easy and super convenient to track jobs available in the market. Whether the user is looking for a job or not, it is important to keep an eye on the market and keep an eye on relevant jobs availability.

We started by identifying the roles between both parties and started by putting together our concept paper. We worked with Codewave to develop the specifications documentation to make sure we utilize their long experience so we make sure we employ the best technology and best customer experience.

The design process ended up quickly to what makes sense and realizes the concept in its best with a beautiful design and best industry experience. We went with agile sprints and we ended up having a great Mobile App and Web App.

What was the team composition?

There was a hands on project manager, a talented graphics designer, and developers covering different technologies to deliver the project - in addition to a dev-ops team who was taking case of infrastructure on AWS.

Their suggested Serverless implementation actually shows a great advantage from a price perspective with great performance. It feels like we have a superior setup that is capable to take us for long in the future growth of the app.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Codewave was making sure we are aware of the progress and normal alignment was a code of conduct for them. We ended up with a beautiful application and superior infrastructure and a customer experience that is well designed - thanks to their great work. We also finished as per the plan.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

I mentioned before how it is a code of conduct at Codewave to keep both sides aware of all project details. Even when a team member needs to be replaced, their internal handovers were great and we continue normally.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The leaders in the company are building a great culture in the company. Their employees are happy and that reflects on the work being done.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Nothing that comes to my mind. We had a pleasant experience with Codewave, from a team and work perspective - Well done!!

We took our product to market within a month after executing the designs that Codewave created for us, and closed our first enterprise customer - one of the largest marketing agencies in the country.

Very effective. Weekly calls and daily chat messages kept us on track, and we got the job done on time. Their design lead was very available to take our calls and inputs, and their co founder was available to help us through more complex UX problems.

I’m the CEO of Smartmask. We’re a medical device design & development firm for hardware, software, mechanical products, and more. We are a small boutique firm.

What challenge were you trying to address with Codewave Technologies?

We needed an app developed for a device our client was creating. It’s a wearable device for the healthcare vertical.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

The app is a basic Native Android application for tablets. It collects data and interacts with patients, in order to help them use the device better. It connects to a Cloud system. We gave them our design files and they developed and implemented the app to communicate with the physical product and the Cloud. This allows the device to gather information from the patient.

What is the team composition?

We primarily worked with three people; the main developer, the technical lead, and the tester.

They were recommended by my friend and colleague.

We’ve spent between $10,000–$20,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from August 2018 until January 2019. The bulk of the work wrapped up around October 2018, but we continued working together for another 2-3 months.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The team works in a very friendly environment. They did the integration job very well, including Bluetooth and Cloud connectivity. They ensured the final results were working to the satisfaction of us and our client.

How did Codewave Technologies perform from a project management standpoint?

There was a project manager initially, but eventually, we worked directly with the engineers. It was more efficient and productive that way.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They worked diligently to meet deadlines, including late nights sometimes.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They could use some more engineers for hardware and mechanical projects, rather than just software engineers. This posed some challenges for us occasionally through the project.

Interact directly with the engineers. They’re great for software but there are some challenges if you’re dealing with a physical device.
