The key deliverables for our scope of work were UI/UX design, completed Alpha version, completed Beta version, launch MVP. Testing was also carried out throughout the project at each milestone delivery. The app was built for both Android and iOS.

CodeLeap produced a working app for both iOS and Android which were launched successfully.

We were assigned a dedicated project manager for the duration of the contract. On the whole, milestones were delivered on time and we had a collaborative relationship with good communication.

Their quality of work, team diversity, and breadth of expertise were brilliant.

Are there any areas for improvement or something CodeLeap could have done differently?

The only area for improvement we can suggest is speeding up development turnaround on smaller ammends and changes. Our project was extended by over a month due to final changes each taking over a week to complete. Internal testing could also be more thorough as we picked up lots of bugs and UI/UX amends with each new version which weren't caught by the internal team.

• Prototype an iOS app demonstrating capture of 360-degree still images 
• Prototype an iOS app demonstrasting automated capture and analysis of images captured while a vehicle rotates on a turntable

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Weekly online meetings always include demonstrations of latest progress.

We struggled to define projects clearly between us, so scope creep was a problem and timescales slipped. Sometimes we have been misaligned on priorities. In retrospect, if we had put more effort into defining the projects, I do not believe this would have been a problem and I do not blame CodeLeap for it.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Victor, who managed the projects, is always enthusiastic about the work. He thinks creatively about the business domain and has useful suggestions about product direction etc. He is very engaged in the whole process. CodeLeap has been able to utilize developers on our projects with a wide range of skills (including UI design, machine learning, app development, web design), incorporating them at short notice when required.

Are there any areas for improvement or something CodeLeap could have done differently?

A couple of minor points. A tighter project-management process would have helped us overcome our inexperience in dealing with outsourced development. Delivered products tend to lack comprehensive error-handling, and occasionally CodeLeap's testing/debugging has impacted live processing.

We have a clear, mutually agreed vision of what the MVP should look like and its various features and functionality. We are not measuring any particular figures, it's a lot more subjective, moving towards this vision.

Project management is good, with clear communication about the progress and what is to come. The project managers do a good job of relaying our feedback and ensuring it gets done. Items have been generally delivered around the right time, give or take a couple of weeks.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Good at understanding the heart of our product, what we are trying to achieve and thinking about problem solving alongside us to build the best possible product. Multiple members of the team have leaned in to bring new ideas and create a better product than we might've imagined.

Are there any areas for improvement or something CodeLeap could have done differently?

Very happy with Codeleap, not much they could've done differently. They had a longer timeline than other agencies (which we knew when starting the work with them), which a small price to pay for the quality of the work. But would've been perfect if we could go faster.

I’m the founder and CEO of Cherry Dating, a dating platform.

What challenge were you trying to address with CodeLeap?

I needed help developing my mobile app.

What was the scope of their involvement?

CodeLeap is helping us develop our iOS and Android mobile app based on our concept. I gave them a brief of what I wanted to achieve, and they took it from there.

Our matchmaking app idea was to give people quality matches over quantity and give users information about that person based on questions and answers that would provide them with an informed decision about whether they're going to swipe left or right.

I have two main points of contact from CodeLeap's team, but they also have a crew working behind the scenes in the app's development.

How did you come to work with CodeLeap?

A friend referred CodeLeap to me, and we chose them for our project because they understood what I was looking for. They also were able to give me a good price, which other providers couldn't.

So far, we've spent $15,000–$20,000 with them.

We started working together in December 2021, and the engagement is ongoing.

CodeLeap adds so much value and goes above and beyond what I expect. They've also been great with the whole business side of things, and being able to forecast for this industry is really helpful. Overall, I'm completely satisfied with their work — they've been incredibly helpful.

How did CodeLeap perform from a project management standpoint?

CodeLeap's team is very flexible with all the different changes requests we've put in front of them. Regarding tools and communication, we use Slack and Figma.

I am the founder and COO of a digital safety app, headquartered in London.

For what projects/services did your company hire CodeLeap, and what were your goals?

We wanted to develop an app for users to use to give them peace of mind, and offer the worlds best safety features, when out and about during active travel. Our goals were to originally develop a free version of the app and release to the App Store.

We searched app developers in London and chose 6 to speak to. CodeLeap we’re the third and from the first few minutes we knew we were meant to be working together. The enthusiasm, understanding of our mission, and passion from the first few minutes of the call were the deciding factors in choosing CodeLeap

We first had a few meetings to discuss the project, and presented CodeLeap with our initials plans, designs and objectives. Within a short time they presented us with the scope of works and how they would work with us. Throughout the process they checked in for our feedback, and released the beta version within the time frame.

We had about 3 people working closely on the project, from an account manager, one other developer, and one designer.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Within 3 months of our app launching, we had over 1,500 downloads, appeared in leading publications from Forbes, The Metro, Marie Claire, Women’s Fitness and many more, and started raising further investment.

The project management style couldn’t be any better. We have scheduled calls for feedback and to share and discuss ideas. Everything has been delivered on time. Obviously tech has its bugs and challenges, and that’s to be expected. But, CodeLeap always kept us in the loop with it all.

To be honest CodeLeap have shown genius in this project. Their skills are phenomenal and their understanding and connection between our holistic mission and marrying that to their technological capabilities has been outstandingly impressive.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We realised at the beginning that we weren’t staying in top detailed reports of what was discussed, what was to be actioned and current updates. However, we put a system in place to manage this better our end, as we appreciated that CodeLeap had a lot to do their end and we should help stay on top of progresses throughout the protect m.
