We had a weekly meeting at least once. Management and team were all involved so we could all be on the same boat, as we use to call our meetings. Developing something that will impact human lives is not for sensible hearts but for a team that is confident, secure and trust their skills to deliver such a complex system and software to work in such environment (Vessels). There has not been one time they didn't deliver on time, and they have always been on top of things before we did realise it. Great support and teamwork fits our culture.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

We were impressed with their integration with our team and excellent teamwork and communication skills. Not to mention the brains for the coding they have inside. We value quality and smart solutions over else, and they got that. I will continue our partnership as longs as i can because i trust them, and i have great communication with the management and team.

Are there any areas for improvement or something codefit could have done differently?

Mistakes have been done down the road. However, anyone that expects no mistakes or problems in a creative process, needs to check himself out again. What is valuable and the one thing I consider and look for is the ability to react and act accordingly to those adversities, hey got a 9 on my book, the other point is the room for improvement that always needs to be there.

Codefit supported us in developing a web app that is available to our guests both via the TV in the cabin and via mobile devices and enables them to complete the safety instruction conveniently, quickly and flexibly. Targeted information for specific guest groups is included. Codefit has thus supported us in a milestone in digitalization.

There are no major recommendations for optimization.

With fleet consists of 14 ships offering to the guests an unforgettable vouges all over the world. I’m work at AIDA since 2008 as a Manager of Shore Excursion Department.

For what projects/services did your company hire codefit, and what were your goals?

During the cruise we are offering to our guests various shore excursions. The entire process was not digitalized which caused lot of manual and paper work during selling, distributing and processing . We wanted improve that by developing system which cover all fragile part of the process.

Based on our internal draft of the project we started working on that with the vendor. Once we agreed all requirements codefit has started implementation phase. After each iteration new functionalities were delivered and based on our feedback we adjust the requirements continuously till the final effect.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Codefit was recommended by one of our other department which already cooperated with them in the past.

There were 4 people in the core team.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Codefit was onboard the vessel during first pilot installation which was not 100% percent successful due to lot of factors. We learned new things which was corrected during second try which was great. Nowadays entire fleet is using smartphones / tablets for ticketing the guests. This approach solved many issues and helped us be more efficient on various areas.

Myself and my Team was close in touch with codefit Team. Sometimes we met each other at our HQ to discuss the next steps in project. Beside that whenever me or vendor had a need to clarify something we discuss it over the phone. They inform me about potential risk or their own ideas which might build a better solution.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I was impressed by the quick response time to enquiries. I can rely on codefit 100%. In the event of technical faults, they always find a quick solution.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

In the future, I would like to see better design proposals and enhanced user-friendliness. But we have always managed to achieve a good result as a team as well.
