I'm the CTO of a highly-specialized software company with machine learning and optimization engineers. I have hired and need to hire highly qualified ML Engineers, Backend and Frontend developers continuously.

For what projects/services did your company hire Codefirst?

We worked with Codefirst in finding us highly-qualified resources for talent acquisition. We need software talent that is hard to find who cannot be found by just LinkedIn searches.

How did you select this firm and what were the deciding factors?

We work with multiple HR firms for talent acquisition; however, our number one sourcing firm is Codefirst. This is due to the quality of the candidates that they can find. They are able to reach and source the top candidates in their respective areas.

We tell Codefirst our requirements for different types of openings. Then they do a their searches and they come up with a short list after carrying out their interviews. Then they connect us with the candidates for us to follow up in the process.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

We worked with the head of the recruiter team as well as 2-3 different junior consultants all of which were very responsive and helpful.

Can you share any outcomes from the engagement that demonstrate progress or success?

We have filled all of our required positions with candidates from Codefirst though we worked with several other firms. We hired ML Engineers, Backend engineers and Front-End engineers.

Our communication is very effective and we work almost on a daily basis.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They have a good network of young talent pool from top universities in the country.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Their prices could be a little more competitive, but due to the quality of the candidates they bring, they are worth the extra budget.

I am Veysel Karslı and I am Co-founder at Codease. Codease is a product created by software engineers with years of experience. We noticed that existing solutions are too complicated and expensive. We create an alternative. Our solution is almost maintenance-free, at the lowest price, with the same base of security vulnerabilities as enterprise solutions.

We worked together to develop a complex business process manually executed by a customer in the retail industry on our unique platform. Our aim was to analyze and reveal business needs together, to develop these needs on the platform, and to carry out a project management that would manage time and resources correctly.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We selected Codefirst based on the quality of their previous work, their professional working attitude, and the equipment of the engineers in their team.

By applying Agile method, they divided the large and complex business need into small parts and carried out a detailed analysis study. In the analysis studies, especially the user screens were designed as mockups and they agreed with the user. While the analysis work continued, they started to develop processes on the platform. Before testing the customer, user tests were made in advance and they tried to meet the customer without any problems. In this way, they were able to complete the project on time and in a way that met the expectations correctly.

Their team included around 10 to 15 people with computer engineering background.

Thanks to the successful continuation of mutual communication and their accessibility during the project, the project delivery took place in a shorter time than planned, as they worked quickly and effectively in line with our feedbacks.

Everyone on this specific project has included and communicated through chatting channels and had weekly meetings, which helped to maintain the workflow between our and their team and see the process of the project day by day.

We were impressed by their accessibility and their solution-oriented mindset as a working discipline

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Although their technical knowledge and methods are really strong, I think they should stand out a little more in customer management.

Codefirst is the firm to work with if you want to keep up to high standards. The professional workflows they stick to result in exceptional quality. So the project result is successful.

Codefirst manage the project with agile techniques so as a customer I was able to see outcomes continually. That gave me chance to make a comment at each output.

Quick response, experience, and result oriented.

Unfortunately they are not a well known company. I wish they could make their promotion/introduction to the world better. They are not known well but they do their jobs very well.

we were happy to work with them, hopefully they keep growing by keeping the same quality of outputs and human resources.
