What challenge were you trying to address with Code Huddle?

We needed help designing, developing, and improving several of our digital platforms. Our main goal was to turn our ideas into reliable, user-friendly products. We needed support with both frontend and backend development, and we needed help continuously improving the platforms as our requirements evolved.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Code Huddle has worked on several development projects for us. Their scope includes front- and backend development, mobile and web application development, admin functionality, API integrations, authentication and user flows, testing, bug fixing, and ongoing technical improvements.

They've also supported us from the initial development stages through deployment and later updates, adapting the products as our requirements changed. The main deliverables have been working production-ready applications, backend systems, integrations, admin tools, and continued development and maintenance support.

One of the main projects has been DriverHub. Code Huddle has developed key user and driver flows, booking functionality, map-based features, admin tools, authentication, and integrations such as identity and license verification. They've also been responsible for backend development, APIs, bug fixing, testing, deployment support, and ongoing improvements as the product requirements evolved.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them in May 2025, and our engagement is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The clearest measurable outcome is that Code Huddle has helped us move several ideas from concept into working applications with real, usable functionality.

For DriverHub, they've delivered a functional platform with the core booking, driver, map, authentication, verification, and admin flows implemented and tested. Across our projects, we've also been able to complete key development milestones, release working versions, and continue improving the products through multiple iterations.

For us, the biggest sign of success has been having stable, usable products we can actually test, demonstrate, and build further on.

We don't have meaningful public user-adoption metrics to share yet, as some of the products are still in development or early-stage launch phases. The most concrete indicators have been delivery against development milestones, successful implementation of the core product flows, and the ability to move from concept to a working, testable product within the planned development cycles.

We've also seen clear improvements in stability and usability through repeated testing and bug-fixing iterations, which have allowed us to move the products much closer to production readiness.

How did Code Huddle perform from a project management standpoint?

Code Huddle's project management has been strong and reliable. Communication has been clear; they're responsive when priorities change, and they keep us updated throughout the development process.

In general, they deliver within the agreed timelines. When something needs more time, they communicate it clearly and handle it professionally. I also appreciate their flexibility and willingness to adapt when we change requirements during the project.

Our primary form of communication is virtual meetings, emails, and messaging apps.

What did you find most impressive about them?

What stands out is their ability to take complex workflows and turn them into practical, user-friendly features while staying flexible when we need to change or improve the product during development.

Moreover, their flexibility and the way they work as a real partner rather than just an outsourced development team are impressive. They take the time to understand the business idea behind the product, suggest practical solutions, and adapt quickly when priorities change. Over time, we've built a strong level of trust, and I always feel they genuinely care about the success of the projects, not just completing the assigned tasks.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Overall, we've had a very positive experience. If I had to mention one area for improvement, it would be having slightly more structured documentation and progress reporting, especially as requirements change during development. That said, whenever issues come up, the team is responsive and works quickly to address them.

Honest Dog include 24% organic growth due to SEO, exponential user retention, a smooth onboarding process with easy listings and search functionalities, integration into a social platform, and region-wise support with multi-language options for wider accessibility.

The scope of the project was constantly evolving, and Code Huddle accommodated them accordingly. Due to this, it was difficult to predict project deliverability, even with changing scope, the frequent and open communication allowed for a timely and within-project-budget deliverability.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They had open communication and flexibility to adapt to the style of working we preferred. Even working long hours some days to resolve critical issues and deliver on time.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Code Huddle could have done differently?

We were in a rush, so we pushed through a very short initial planning phase. Spending even an extra week scoping out the requirements would have led to a more efficient process. Code Huddle could have insisted harder not to let us shorten the planning process to the extent we did.

Code Huddle brought my idea to life with their extremely talented team of developers and designers. From app design to the front and backend development. The team covered it all flawlessly. They also handled the distribution of the app on both the App and Play Store effectively.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We set key milestone dates in which specific goals of the apps development must have been met. Code Huddle delivered in a timely manner and executed on each of these milestone faultlessly. The set objective for the project was to have a functioning MVP by the deadline date. There's not doubt that this outcome was successful with the final product being more than satisfactory.

The team at Code Huddle made the entire process effortless with their excellent communication, both written and oral. They handled any demands I had flawlessly and if a demand was not possible, they were always transparent about this which was really refreshing to work with. The teams time and project management, communication, adaptability really made for an enjoyable collaboration, one which I would recommend to any other SME out there.

The interpersonal skills from all the staff at Code Huddle was so impressive. Each team member I had the pleasure of working with was always very respectful, polite and friendly. Additionally, the diverse skill sets and expertise within the team meant that any demands I had, could be achieved in-house which was really great.  

Are there any areas for improvement or something Code Huddle could have done differently?

I can't fault Code Huddle in any areas. The team was amazing.
