We initiated our cooperation with in-depth ideation of all required processes. CloudTrains's management team drafted a timeline of processes and outlined a schedule of when all segments of the project ought to be completed. They created a detailed and clearly defined plan for every aspect of the project and stuck to it until the very last day. The project began with initial prototypes of the website flow and the designs for all individual pages. Upon completing each page design, I received access to Figma where I had the chance to see and leave feedback on the looks, which I found to be amazing I had the opportunity to participate in the design process itself. When all pages were designed, the project forwarded into development.

During this stage, I was granted access to the staging server where I could observe the progress of the website's development. After the website is finalised and live, CloudTrains's Digital Marketing team began with search engine optimization in order to ensure the best positioning of our website for the desired keywords. Throughout all this time I was in constant contact with the project manager, as well as design and development team members who worked on our website. We had great communication, transparent, effortless, and beneficial, and we were in contact via Zoom calls, emails, phone calls meetings whenever necessary. CloudTrains also uses great project management tools that helped me keep track of the project's stages.

CloudTrains developed an advance level e-commerce web portal. The app brings our users and Unnati Silks products on one platform, removing intermediaries from the loop. Users can pre-order, share their own designs, from anywhere in World. Their team is working on building out features including lead feeds, lead management, chat modules, a customer dashboard, payment gateway, pre-orders management, and more.

CloudTrains has been a constant support in our web and app development efforts. Our web is now live with over 200,000 monthly active users, ranking ninth in the business category.

Their workflow is very smooth and effective all in all. They reply almost instantly every time we have an issue and are very proactive in pointing out foreseeable challenges and how to solve them.

The most impressive thing about CloudTrains is that they go above and beyond to ensure that we hit our milestones well within time. We have no reason to complain or change the development flow. While CloudTrains Technologies did a great job overall, there are a couple of areas where they could level up. Sometimes, it would’ve been cool to see even more proactive suggestions for features or improvements instead of just waiting for our feedback. A bit more emphasis on post-launch support could also help, like regular check-ins to see how things are running after we went live. But honestly, they crushed it, and these tweaks could just make their already solid service even better!

We contacted CloudTrains to help us build a website and Performance Measurement Tool for Our Inside Team.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We shortlisted three companies: two from London, one from India (i.e., CloudTrains). Both companies were on par in terms of references, quality, and skills, but CloudTrains far exceeded the other company in terms of process and suggestions about possible features.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

The scope expanded from web development into market research, competitor analysis, prototyping, and other development. They gave us all the technical documentation and wireframes for future reference and marketing purposes.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

There was:

• two web developers
• one Quality Assurance head

However, our first contact at the company stuck with us until the last day to ensure consistency.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The features CloudTrains suggested really helped us in the launch. In two months after successfully launch, we see that traffic increase on our website in exponentially manner-plus people subscribe our services & products as well without any investment in user acquisition. Our users could very easily refer other users to bring their friends and family on board.

It felt like an autopilot mode. Although their process can feel a bit longer since they do a lot of research when compared with other IT companies, it's a good experience overall. We had a much better understanding of the market in technical terms after working with them.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They really took ownership of both the process and the product. They would take the initiative and come up with suggestions. They were not shy to disagree with us on certain features, but they always backed it with strong reasoning.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Some of their documentation may not be up to industry standards. Plus, they depend a fair amount on free tools. CloudTrains is a young team and will likely polish their work with time. Nonetheless, we are very satisfied with the services and recommend them strongly for early-stage entrepreneurs like us.
