We sought a development partner to build our MVP platform, including our mobile and web applications.

What was the scope of their involvement?

CloudEva Tech has built our mobile and web applications, including the backend infrastructure, database, and more. The team has also created our admin portal, employer admin portal, provider portal, mobile app for employees, and public website. In addition, they've handled UI/UX design, testing, and deployment.

We found them through an online search. We chose them because their pricing fit our budget and offered good value for the cost.

We started working with them in June 2025, and the engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

CloudEva Tech has helped us ship our MVP platform. It has taken us six months to go from an idea to a market-ready product.

How did CloudEva Tech perform from a project management standpoint?

They use a great project management approach. The team is organized with a preset operating playbook and communication methods, which has allowed us to quickly jump into the work and focus on the deliverables. CloudEva Tech has iterated quickly and delivered on time. We communicate through virtual meetings, emails, and messaging apps.

What did you find most impressive about them?

CloudEva Tech is a strong communicator. They quickly and effectively understand our requirements and proactively bring suggestions. The team does a good job of bringing business and technical expertise. Moreover, they do a good job of seamlessly managing resources on their end.

Are there any areas they could improve?

One opportunity area is being more proactive when there are blockers on our side to quickly escalate them so they get removed in a timely manner.

What challenge were you trying to address with CloudEva Tech?

We were looking for a Supabase expert who had real hands-on experience with Loom, GitHub, and Vercel.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

CloudEva Tech helped us set up proper staging and production workflows with GitHub integration. The team cloned the Supabase development environment to create a new project for staging. They migrated the schema, policies, storage, and authentication from the development environment to the staging environment. CloudEva Tech deployed the frontend to the staging environment and connected the Loom staging site to the Supabase project. The team confirmed that all authentication and database flows worked with zero errors.

Once the staging environment was stable, CloudEva Tech cloned the staging environment to the production environment. They deployed the Loom frontend to the Vercel production domain and ensured that GitHub pull requests to the main branch automatically triggered staging to production updates. The team set up proper automation so the staging and production environments stayed in sync. They configured GitHub and Vercel so deployments were clean, tested, and controlled.

We found them on Upwork. I looked at their website and the quality of their job submissions and decided they were a serious operation.

CloudEva Tech successfully set up the development, staging, and production environments.

How did CloudEva Tech perform from a project management standpoint?

We communicated via WhatsApp. CloudEva Tech didn't deliver on time. The job was supposed to take nine hours, but it took over two weeks. The team encountered many code variations that they hadn't expected but still finished the job as per the brief at no extra cost.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I was impressed by their reactivity and level of English.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can't think of anything for CloudEva Tech to improve.

We needed to build a website from scratch and make it a valuable product.

What was the scope of their involvement?

CloudEva Tech has been responsible for everything, including backend and frontend development. The team has implemented APIs, created a one-time password verification through SMS, and developed a login and signup process.

We found them through a freelancer platform. We chose them because they seemed professional in what they were doing, had good communication skills, and were willing to help.

We’ve spent around $20,000.

We started working with them in January 2024, and our engagement is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We don’t have any significant results yet, but the website is starting to function properly. We’ll launch it soon to measure the overall website visitors and users and see how desirable the service and website are.

How did CloudEva Tech perform from a project management standpoint?

They try their best to have clear communication and meet the deadlines. Sometimes, they’re late, but I’m happy overall. We communicate through Slack and video calls.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their clear communication and trust are impressive.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They could work faster and do things better. I know they’re learning through the development of my website, and I’m happy with their current performance.
