I’m the marketing head of Targus Technologies Pvt. Ltd., an IT hardware and services company. We provide comprehensive IT solutions, including system integration, network and infrastructure design, connectivity, storage, office automation, and facility management services.

What challenge were you trying to address with CloudConverge?
We were looking for a partner who could study our business, recommend the best-fit ERP solution, streamline our operations through best industry practices, and take care of ERP implementation across our various business operations.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
CloudConverge implemented ERPNext as a unified platform across finance, sales, supply chain, HR, payroll, and quality. The team standardized core processes with approvals, audit trails, and strong role-based access. They also reduced manual work through automation, accurate master data, and integrated reporting.
CloudConverge took care of the following modules:
- Accounting: Finalized chart of accounts, cost centers, and accounting dimensions. Managed AP/AR, invoices, credit notes, advances, dunning, payment terms, and multi-currency. Configured tax rules, statutory formats, and financial document templates. Set up bank accounts, payment entries, bank reconciliation, and cash/bank controls. Established month-end and year-end closing with exchange revaluation.
- Warehouse & Inventory: Set up item master with attributes, variants, barcodes, UoM, valuation, and reorder rules. Created warehouse/bins structure, batch/serial tracking, and FIFO/FEFO. Managed goods receipts/issues, stock transfers, landed cost vouchers, cycle counting schedules, variance rules, and stock reconciliation.
- Human Resources: Created employee master, departments, grades, and attendance. Set up leave types, leave policies, accrual methods, holiday lists, and approval flows. Created role-based access matrix aligned with least-privilege principle. Developed HR dashboards and templates for imports and approvals.
- Payroll: Created salary structures with earnings/deductions, arrears, retro pay, and full-and-final. Allocated payroll cost to cost centers/projects. Created statutory payroll outputs and bank advice files. Developed payslip formats, payroll journals, and statutory reports.
- Sales: Created price lists, pricing rules, discounts, quotation formats, and approvals. Managed sales orders, allocations, delivery notes, returns, and credit notes. Created tax/shipping charge models, numbering series, and print formats.
- CRM: Managed lead and contact with opportunity pipelines and activity tracking. Created lead assignment, scoring, SLAs, and basic campaign tagging. Created conversion flow and dashboards.
- Purchase: Managed supplier onboarding, compliance fields, and ratings. Managed full procure-to-pay process. Created blanket orders, supplier performance, and approvals. Created RFQ/PO templates, comparison sheets, and scorecards.
- Assets: Created asset categories, capitalization rules, custodians, and serials. Created depreciation methods/schedules, revaluation, impairment, and disposal. Created asset register import, depreciation schedules, and reports.
- Quality: Created inspection templates for incoming, in-process, and final QC with sampling criteria. Created non-conformance logging, CAPA workflows, QC hold/release, and traceability via batch/serial and certificates. Created dashboards for inspections, NC, and defects.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
CloudConverge's implementation resulted in major improvements across operations. Manual work reduced by 30% through automation of inventory, payroll, procurement, approvals, and finance processes. Sales, purchase, and payroll cycles became 20% faster. Inventory accuracy increased to 97–99% due to batch/serial tracking and clean master data. Real-time dashboards improved decision-making, and standardized approvals strengthened compliance. Overall, teams became significantly more productive with consistent, reliable data across all departments.We didn't formally track KPIs before the implementation, but the improvements were clearly visible through team feedback and operational observation. Departments consistently reported reduced manual work as automated workflows replaced spreadsheet-based tasks. Cycle times in sales, purchasing, and payroll became noticeably faster due to real-time data access and streamlined approvals. Inventory accuracy improved based on more consistent stock counts and fewer discrepancies. Finance teams highlighted fewer posting errors and smoother month-end closing. HR and payroll teams also confirmed greater accuracy and reduced rework. Quality teams observed more structured inspections and better NC handling. Overall, while these outcomes weren't measured with baseline metrics, the qualitative feedback across functions clearly demonstrated significant efficiency gains and process improvements.There were regular demos that CloudConverge showed us, walking us through the applications they were developing.
How did CloudConverge perform from a project management standpoint?
CloudConverge's project management approach was structured, transparent, and proactive throughout the engagement. They maintained regular communication, set clear expectations, and managed timelines effectively across all phases of the implementation. The team ensured that dependencies, risks, and decisions were tracked and addressed promptly, which kept the project moving smoothly.Although certain modules required iterative refinement based on our internal readiness and evolving needs, CloudConverge consistently aligned with our pace and ensured key milestones were delivered within the agreed timelines. Overall, their coordination, responsiveness, and ability to keep the project on track made the implementation experience reliable and well-managed.

CloudConverge worked as if they were part of our team. They always involved stakeholders and brought new ideas that helped our business operations. The solution they delivered was great. The ERPNext implementation was a great platform for us and will definitely help us tremendously in growing our business.Moreover, the CloudConverge team was very collaborative in helping us understand our business processes in depth. They understood why certain things were being done and recommended easier processes to reduce redundancies in our operation. They introduced various processes that helped employees, resulting in better participation from them. We really loved their consultancy role throughout this implementation journey and the attention to detail they brought into the solution.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I can't think of anything they could improve on. They worked beyond our expectations. Their team was always the first to show up and the last to leave. Their demos were always beyond what we expected.
