We are currently building a platform that should help consolidate all of our data and our customers data. This platform has multiple services embedded within it to help with our clients data needs. We have also worked on a Consolidated Data store within our own company to allow us to streamline our processes in a more dynamic way. PGM has many sectors within it and we have worked with Cigen to help fulfill, QA, Software Engineering, Product/Project Management, Design, and Data Science roles.

We were able to streamline our data ingestion processes with newer tech stacks. This allowed us to remove the single dependency builds that were created from legacy. The performance optimazations allowed us to change the process from a manual 3 month process to an automated service that can ingest sources as they come in.

Working with Cigen has been a pleasure. I've been working with certain folks for over 3 years now and we are always bringing on more members. We have many different projects due to all the services our company delivers. The Product Management team has been outstanding and vital in helping to orchestrate some of these goals the business has. The developers are passionate and knowledgeable in their profession. QA and Design work well with all the teams and give suggestions to help when needed. Overall the experience with Cigen has always been appreciated. If the business doesn't changes our work priorities we usually always meet our deadlines.

After the 1st round of search and interviews we selected CiGen to move forward because of their established experience and focus on Xamarin app development. CiGen were able to present relevant portfolio of similar projects accomplished and 5 different experienced engineers to choose from.

The team had a series of discovery meetings, their first step was to research on possible stack, solutions and integrations. Key deliverables were: Creation of location module; Bus and stops module development; Video-calls functionality implementation. The team used Xamarin as their main technology. They managed to utilize the best and feasible engineering practices and UX approach to make sure the app is convenient for the sensitive user category it was created for.

It was obvious that engineers like the project and idea a lot and they put much effort to make it live. All the parties were happy about communication style and performance speed.

We work according to an agile process that allows us to have full control while there is room for flexibility.
