As the company director we pride ourselves it getting the best from our suppliers and Chetaru did just that. As a world wide label company who supply retail and industry, we needed to get our product out to the marketplace Chetaru do that for us

We needed to have the system working with all forms of internet access such as tablets and smartphones. In this way we could reach a wider buying marketplace to increase sales

We interviewed a number of web site providers, and Chearu came across the most helpful and professional. Word of mouth also proved we were on a winner

The project had to be up and running in a very quick period. To be launched to coincide with new products we had. Meeting were arranged and plans formulated. In the meantime a site was put in place to tell our customer that new and exciting new look was on its way. Updates and meeting were arranged and time scales met with very few hiccups. The launch met its date and was bigger and better than we imagined

What was the team composition?

From the off we had meetings with most people in the company so we could put across what we did, and what we wanted out of the site. These group face to face meetings were amazing, as each person as an expert in their field, could brainstorm problems and solutions to get a clear picture of what we needed to achieve in our aims and goals.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

After the launch the traffic increased to our site and enquiries started to come in. This enabled us to gain new customers and market areas that we had not reached before. Direct sales also vastly improved on our Ecommerce site which was our aim, and is still increasing day by day

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Every stage was covered very well and if anything we needed changing was done within minuet and hours rather than days and weeks. The teams worked great together and communication was always instant never unanswered emails or phone calls

What did you find most impressive about this company?

We were impressed with their enthusiasm of wanting to learn what we do and incorporate it into building our ecommerce site. This helped to get the job done in the correct format and in the quickest time frame. Everyone was very friendly,interacting with each other to achieve what we desired. They were professional in every step of the way, with mock up displays and ideas

Are there any areas for improvement?

There is alway room for improvement, so if we didn't go through these learning curves you would never improve and learn new skills

• Website rebuild: Our website was reimagined and build in an easy-to-navigate, user-friendly way.
• Social media management: A quarterly plan was developed and we agreed monthly updates with key deliverables.
• SEO: I receive a weekly update of key milestones achieved.
• Business process review: We worked very closely with the Chetaru Consultant to review our business process and to ensure we were working in an efficient and yet compliant way.

We worked with several people within the team including our Account Manager, Projects Director, and Consultant.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Working with Chetaru has raised our profile and we have increased our Social Media followers on both Facebook and Linkedin. The have improved out Google rankings on every single one of our keywords and we also have a more consistent standard of communication with both our Clients and Candidates.

I found the team easy to work with, timescales were met and communications were easy to follow and timely.

The approach they take to working with clients I found refreshing and I like their proactive and original approach.

There were teething challenges of course as with all projects of this nature but they were dealt to ensure the project met with our expectations.

We hired Chetaru UK Limited for website development, API integration, and social media.

What were your goals for this project?

Our goal was to have a functional website where people could buy our products and have a good experience.

Chetaru UK Limited built a website with a lot of errors. The products were launched, but the links did not work so people could not buy from our e-commerce site. They were also unable to market our website on social media.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

Chetaru UK Limited hurt our company’s reputation and profits. I was contacted by multiple customers that said they could not buy from our site, complained about the typographical errors, and lost interest in our company. My company has potentially lost tens of thousands of dollars.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

The project was poorly managed. Chetaru UK Limited even complained that it was my company’s fault, although we are not website developers or media professionals. I have emailed them multiple times, but the owners refuse to respond. At the end of the contract, they sent a higher bill when we complained that work was not finished.

Company Responses

The vendor responded on June 14th, 2019.

April/May 2018—We were approached by the client for two sites. We quoted £3,588 (approx. $4,500 USD). This was a massive reduction as the client seemed to be really great for us, and we had a huge appetite to support a truly internationally-focused and seemingly ground-breaking operation.

We agreed on monthly payment terms, clearing the full balance over six months. June 1, 2018—first invoice raised. 

July 2018—website went live. The client approached us for digital marketing activity, and we agreed on £500/month (approx. $630 USD) for both sites, again a massive reduction. Then, a third website was commissioned, which was about £1,500 (approx. $1,900 USD). For all three sites, digital marketing was agreed at £600/month (approx. $760 USD), again a massive reduction. 

August 29, 2018—first payment by the client received for £1,477.32 (approx. $1,800 USD), which was not the full amount owed at that point.

October 31, 2018—payment of £1,695 (approx. $2,100 USD) received – at this stage we had delivered three fully working sites (approx. £7,000 or $8,800 USD) and done four months of digital marketing (4 x 600 = 2,400). October 31, 2018—serious grievance raised by the client.

We always offered and found ways forward, fixing anything raised as incomplete. The client relied on their status to try and bully us into accepting a reduced payment. They finally paid in full the outstanding amount on December 18, 2018 and then embarked on a smear campaign.
