Chatterkick has established our social media platforms and redone our website from scratch. Initially, they set up meetings with us in our office and job sites to capture content. They also interviewed key individuals from our company to create a good representation of our abilities that would be shown on our website. For the website project, their team handled both the development and design work.

The new website went live last June, and Chatterkick continues to help us with social media.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’ve encountered a few bumps in developing the website. At a certain point, we actually had to take ownership of the project and make sure we gave their team a clear direction on what we wanted. In doing so, they’ve done an outstanding job of putting the website together.

How did Chatterkick perform from a project management standpoint?

They deliver on time and within budget and communicate well. We communicate with them through in-person and virtual meetings, email, and phone calls.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Olivia handles our communications very well and ensures that all our feedback is incorporated into everything we do.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can’t think of anything Chatterkick could improve on at the moment.

What challenge were you trying to address with Chatterkick?

We needed someone to help us with our social media accounts and email marketing. We had a large following on social media and an email marketing list of 20,000 people, so we wanted to take that and develop clever and relevant materials for our readers. Overall, brand awareness was our main goal.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Chatterkick manages our social media accounts and runs our Meta, Google, and email marketing. When we got started with Chatterkick, we were leaving another agency with which we were unhappy. However, the onboarding process went smoothly. Chatterkick jumped on board from day one, got to know our business, and gave us some ideas on how we could grow our business using our social media and email marketing campaigns.

Additionally, they’ve created templates, done the design copywriting, and set up the accounts. They work on Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest.

We have four teammates: Kristy (Customer Experience Manager), Austin (Ad Strategist), Mary (Engagement Strategist), and Cody (Visual Content Specialist).

They’re located in the same community we’re in.

We pay about $7,000 a month, and we’ve done a few marketing campaigns for another $15,000. In total, we’ve probably spent over $50,000.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

I don’t have numbers off the top of my head, but we’ve been pleased with the reaction responses we’re getting through our social media accounts. We’re getting lots of clicks, likes, and shares, so Chatterkick has been successful. Their Google and Meta ads have been timely and well done. Moreover, they’ve brought good sales to our online retail accounts, such as Shopify and Amazon.

Chatterkick has exceeded our expectations. We’ve worked with a few other agencies, and Chatterkick’s content has been excellent for the amount they charge. Overall, everything has gone smoothly, and we’ve been happy with the campaigns they’ve made for us.

How did Chatterkick perform from a project management standpoint?

Chatterkick does everything according to our expectations, so everything has been on time and well done. The whole team has worked together seamlessly to make this process easy for us. All we have to do is jump online and approve their work; there’s rarely anything we need to come back to make corrections. If there’s ever a problem or comment, they’re quick to respond in a professional and engaging way.

Moreover, communication is incredible. We have regular meetings with the customer service manager. She emails us regularly if there are any questions, and we use a project management software called Sprout Social to go through our approval processes. Additionally, we use Microsoft Teams calls, phone calls, emails, and texts. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re creative, responsive, and easy to work with. They’ve done this so many times that they know exactly what we need before we need it.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, we haven’t come upon anything that needs improvement. We’ve needed more than expected, and Chatterkick has gone above and beyond in everything we’ve asked of them.

Communication is the way to begin with. Chatterkick makes it easy to communicate with their staff; we speak with every team member. Even if they're away, there’s a communication plan, so it’s easy to get things rolling.

Finally, they would respond to comments in each of those channels on our behalf to provide support, encourage engagement, and establish credibility.

The CHatterkick team provided monthly reports showing increases in many KPI metrics we defined at the start of the contract including total followers, page likes, and clicks to our digital properties. They even shared insights into other metrics like growth in the number of posts saved to help illustrate their impact.

Each social post was pre-scheduled and delivered on time with plenty of advance notice to offer feedback/revisions. Our monthly meetings were always adhered to and their team arrived with detailed reporting along with verbal insights to provide more granularity and impact.

Chatterkick is involved in providing support around our sales cycles with organic creative for socials and paid campaigns. We also worked with Chatterkick to create a scope for an upcoming rebrand.

They are very engaged and such great collaborators who listen to our goals and challenges and help us stay focused on strategy (which can be a challenge with a small startup). Not at this time. We really like their pod approach to account management, appreciate their open and timely communication, and look forward to our monthly strategy sessions with them.

They’re also in charge of designing a lot of our creative assets for said campaigns, and they manage all of our social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn. Additionally, they’ve made tours of our facility to take pictures of products and machinery to generate content. 

Initially, Chatterkick also helped us design and develop our website. Now, they keep designing web pages and content as needed. This website allows customers to learn more about our capabilities because our clients don’t ask only for products but also come to us for impact, abrasion, and corrosion solutions.

We’ve seen great results from all areas of our business, including site traffic, click-through rates, business leads, business conversions, impressions, and user engagement.

How did Chatterkick perform from a project management standpoint?

Chatterkick’s project management is very good. They’re always on time with what they do, and they’re typically waiting on us if there’s any waiting at all.

We meet with them at least once per month via phone calls, Zoom meetings, or in-person meetings, and we exchange emails weekly. We also do quarterly and annual reviews of the reports they generate from Google Analytics. Additionally, they have access to our HubSpot.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Chatterkick’s creativity and thoroughness are impressive. Overall, they’re excellent people to work with.

There’s nothing Chatterkick lacks. They put a lot of effort in what they do.

They definitely produce assets that perform, but the conversations we have around strategy, the data and insights, the team coaching and consultation, and the problem-solving behind the deliverables have all been really valuable. They’re an extension of our team that isn’t afraid to jump in on any number of projects and at the end of the day, we’re increasing website traffic, we’re finding leads and our business is growing.

Within the past 6 months we've gone from about 400 total LinkedIn followers to 1200 followers. We've consistently come in under our desired cost per clicks, while continuing to increase our impressions and leads month over month. We've also increased our quality traffic to our website from 44 users to 5,213 users. 10% of social web traffic is classified as engaged on site (68% - 3,596/5,213).

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We met biweekly to go over monthly content pieces. We receive a monthly report that goes over our social media metrics, and a quarterly report that serves to summarize those metrics on a broader level while also providing competitor insights and ways we can perform better than them.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I am impressed with Chatterkick's ability to seamlessly adapt to our company and the specific niche that we are in. They picked up on the industry lingo and trends at a rapid pace and that helped us with attracting valuable leads.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Honestly, no. They were able to pivot and adapt to leadership changes within our team that lead to different styles of how we approached our strategy. Their communication style is awesome - they explain things in terms that every member of my team can understand.

They are extremely quick to respond, or if a team member will be out of the office they let us know who we can contact ahead of time in case anything pops up. They are very adaptable to our needs and it has been extremely beneficial for my team.
