Our website was initially created over 8 years ago and have become outdated. We wanted to rebrand our business and create a new website with fresh look and design and we hired Chanmax to do this project for us. They have made sure it was completed exactly to our satisfaction.

We were referred by another previous client of Chanmax who was very happy with the services they have received from Chanmax. We have looked through their other projects and decided they were the best fit to achieve our business goal.

We had a meeting setup to discuss our goals at the end of thia project. Chanmax made sure to include my in every step along the way to see if we are happy with the progress of the project. They were very accommodating and ensured we were satified with every step during the completion of this project.

The only point of contact was the foudner of Chanmax and he dealt with this project from beginning to the very end. Occasionally he may have used expertise from other members in the team to get a task completed.

After launching this website i can confidently say our clients have given lot of positive feedbacks about the site and how much difference it had made compare to the previous site we had for 8 years. We are seeing atleast 60% more traffic visiting the site.

We communicated mainly through whatsapp and phone calls and text messages as we live in two different countries. Chanmax was always very responsive and ensured they met all our demands and requests.

They provided us more services than we agreed on without hesitation. Our team us not so tec savy and Chanmax took time to explain how wordpress system works which was very useful for our team.

Not that i can think of. My experience with Chanmax has been absolutely fantastic.

When I came up with the idea to make my corporate website, my best friend Prashanth was a budding web designer and my well-wisher and I was eager to give him this responsibility, so I contacted him and handed over the responsibility. Today my website is complete with many changes and many menus. He did all the work that I told him to do correctly, even though his face was crooked at some places and he smiled without any hesitation. I'm very happy that my website was delivered with accuracy, and I'd highly recommend their services to other companies.

With their slide proposal to begin with after great discussions of what we intent to provide to our customers here in USA, they were able to showcase multiple themes we were to pick from. They offered great ideas themselves, with great understanding and research of our field of business.

I was particularly in contact with one person of the team, for minor changes towards the end. The rest was beautiful handled with rest of the ChanMax team through our Digital Marketing Manager

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

As it’s been only nearly 2 months since the launch, we are able to see our site has reached couple of customers requesting the services. Though I may not be well aware all technical details of the web development, I can tell you the magic they have done is surely is working! We would need couple more months to see the exact results.

As mentioned, the team was very communicative, understood the concept of our needs, and was quick to adapt and implement any changes we had suggested.

I would definitely bring upfront their research and quick level of understanding of the field. We just had to provide them the services we were providing, and they were able to create content and the writing related to it!

As for someone who does not know much web development, and it’s needs to grow over time, the company can provide details with instructions on maintain the web so we can reach out goal. They had provided the needed SEO for a year, I would advise, if possible, they could provide more learning resources for us to maintain.

One of Chanmax's existing customers recommended that we hire Chanmax as a brand design for our app development. On the basis of their expertise and experience, we decided to partner with Chanmax.

We started by describing the specifics of our project's logo requirements and goals. As a follow-up, they provided us with some sketch for our app's branding. In the end, they delivered on time after we had accepted their concepts.

Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the founder of For You with Love. We’re an art website that encourages sustainability and sells handmade art on recycled paper.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Chanmax?

I wanted to develop a website to sell my products in Australia, with the view to expand to other countries like Sri Lanka and India.

I also occasionally organize art classes. Although I’d been creating booking links through another tool, I wanted to handle booking through my own platform, especially since my business is now registered in Australia.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Chanmax is developing my website from scratch. I provided them with images of my art for the design, and they were in charge of everything else, including the layout and fonts. They consulted the design with me to see if I was okay with it or needed any changes.

From there, the team moved on to development. They set up payment management with Stripe to add items to the cart and added a feature for customers to book my art classes. 

The team also created a new email ID from my website. Chanmax has completed most of the development work, though some tasks are still pending on my end.

How did you come to work with Chanmax?

I got their contact from a friend.

How much have you invested with them?

So far, I’ve invested around $300, and 50% of the payment is pending.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in September 2021, and the engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

I’m very happy with Chanmax’s work. I had a clear vision in my head; I wanted my website to be minimalistic and without a lot of colors. When the team showed me the demo, it was exactly how I had pictured the website. 

Additionally, my father has his own website, and I always reach out to him if I have any questions and take his guidance. He’s also been quite happy with what Chanmax has offered.

How did Chanmax perform from a project management standpoint?

Their project management is exceptional. They’re very punctual — they deliver what they promise and do it on time. 

The Chanmax team keeps me up to date and is always available to answer my questions. They also take all my feedback and suggestions well. 

Their communication is good; we use Skype for video calls and WhatsApp for quick messages. There have also been a few emails exchanged between us.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I’m impressed by Chanmax’s exceptional communication skills. They leave no room for ambiguity. All expectations are clear between both parties; they know what they’re delivering, and I know what I want from them.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, there’s nothing they need to improve. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I would advise ignoring what you want for a while so that you can communicate with them. Chanmax will come up with suggestions, and you can brainstorm together and get the best out of their ideas. Be open to their suggestions; the outcome will be better if you welcome a collaborative process. I would definitely recommend Chanmax!
