I am an Experienced Senior Marketing Professional currently at a Film and Music Production Company.

For what projects/services did your company hire Chalanas?

We needed to understand the scope of OTT, online streaming and other related market scope, potential, size, key players, basically overall landscape to evaluate worth to launch marketing campaign in this market that we were trying to understand and explore then.

How did you select this firm and what were the deciding factors?

A rather large number of vendors and freelancers had applied for our requirement and many of them lacked basic comprehension. Chalanas outshined all our other vendor and freelancer choices given their founder's extensive knowledge of our industry and requirement. We liked their being detail oriented, ability to give so many apples to apples examples that helped us become confident of their delivering abilities. Moreover, we liked how they were able to leverage on our provided information to them and in return throw on the feet ideas, recommendations and suggestions highly relevant to our needs.

Describe the project in detail and walk through their service package.

We wanted them to provide us with a research report that helped us make an informed decision on whether or not to market ourselves in this foreign market, and how much marketing spends in past occurred from companies similar to ours or from our geographies. The report they provided was quite detailed, included excerpts from the top industry experts and even enabled our speaking directly with their source of information to validate our hypothesis. It was the perfect and most comprehensive result which exceeded our expectations throughly and completely. We were always updated in real time and needed to induct them only a little to our requirement.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

Unlike our other experiences working with similar service offering vendors that threw large teams and heavy invoices for their covering costs of such taskforce from our pockets, Chalanas operated in lean and intelligent manners using technology over human and hence our results were more accurate and faster plus less expensive as well.

Can you share any outcomes from the engagement that demonstrate progress or success?

We were able to make the right decision (in hindsight) based on the suggestions made by them. We continue to work with them even today for our other related needs in the line of service offerings.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Smooth and streamlines. Very clear. No ambiguity. Dedicated relationship manager was assigned to us. The SPOC assigned was highly experienced, extremely knowledgable and well understood our requirement and was proactive mostly. We liked most of his suggestions and incorporated it into our line of working too.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They have a unique past experience, wide and extensive knowledge, ability to understand our thoughts and needs. They provide uncluttered, clear and concise answers and solutions which makes most sense and highest relevance suiting perfectly to our needs.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Given our location differences, we couldn't meet them so often and they didn't have an office in our location, not that it impacted their work or performance in anyway but we would have preferred if they would have also had physical presence or representative in our office location or nearby.

Advisory received from Chalanas helped us streamline our thought process into a narrow focus to achieve our most pressing goals, ie: helping in back end tool automations.

In all honestly, Chalanas went above and beyond for us - I'm not sure they could be faulted for this however.
