Successful mobile app 
I developed the app PVLevel including app design, implementation, landing page, product launch, marketing etc. with the CGS-team & had an excellent experience! Great atmosphere, great service & quality, any problems were always solved to my full satisfaction. I strongly appreciate CGS' dedication to deliver the product to the customer's standard - even when unexpected workload shows up!  Also the "on-stop shop" concept is prefect where design, developer & marketing are working hand in hand within CGS - no coordination required by the customer.  Having coding experience myself, I really value CGS' responsible use of AI-dev-tools, prioritising maintainable quality code over cheap AI-only-slob! PVLevel is a non-trivial mobile app with time critical downloads, compute intense realtime algorithms running on device sensor input, realtime animations, realtime data sharing etc. - CGS managed it with ease!  Based on my experience, I highly recommend CGS-team for any mobile app - no matter how simple or complex!

CGS-team has made progress on different user personas for the site. The team has completed user types and all the associated features. Overall, CGS-team is a great team; they’re experienced, communicative, and nice.

CGS-team has delivered on time, and their project management is good. We communicate via virtual meetings, emails, and messaging apps.

We’re impressed with how CGS-team has been able to help extract what was in our head into a working app. Their process of asking and documenting questions and the work on the wireframes is A1.

CGS-team have been engaged in the full build of a social networking web application. They were provided with a design in Figma and have been tasked in creating all features based on that design. The work is complex, requiring many levels of dependencies within the application due to the nature of it being a social network. Features required include: 

• Log in with email verification. 
• Detailed onboarding pages with both automated and manual entry from the user, and multi-choice items. Some pages in the onboarding are dependent on inputs provided earlier on. 
• Highly stylized UI elements are dependent on various variables. 
• Creation of a posting feature, including a newsfeed, similar to the functionality in current popular social networks, with all the same capabilities such as replies, likes, re-posting, etc, including the counts of each of these. 
• Ability to add or follow other users, with question inputs, with each request to create a new connection.
• Creation of a home feed aggregating all activity on the platform, including surfacing the most popular items and measuring user behavior across the platform.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The main outcome is the full functionality of the social networking application, which has deep levels of complexity. There are various parts of the application which require proper functioning: 

• the onboarding and all this data correctly stored and presented on the profile page, which includes varying of the presentation based on the nature of responses
• rapid speed when users engage with each other such as posting and replying, and correct arrangement and storing of all actions. 

The application has high levels of relation, which requires a very strong database construction and programming aptitude — this has been delivered with our expectations exceeded.

Project management was excellent. We have two weekly calls, and every day we receive an update on the project's progress. The team replies very quickly via Slack when questions are asked. They communicate well and are very understanding.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

We have found CGS' attitude the most impressive. Whenever asking if a certain feature can be implemented, the answer is always "Anything is possible", and the team has always maintained this perspective that we can do it for you. On the rare occasions when delivery was not as expected, the team has always been understanding and quick, and more than willing to make adjustments. The team is very reasonable and always looks first and foremost to ensure we are satisfied.

Are there any areas for improvement or something CGS-team could have done differently?

If pushed to give one area of improvement: CGS-team could be faster in providing estimations. We are on our third project together and will soon start our fourth. Our projects are complex and therefore, we appreciate the estimation needs to be accurate; otherwise, one party will be disappointed.

After the creation of the prototype, I needed a team to refactor the codebase and add additional functionality to get us to production.

I found the team through Upwork and was interested in working with them because they had the necessary backend experience I was looking for and because all interactions with them were very professional and painless.

The team exceeded my expectations by delivering on time and by their code quality. As a developer myself, I was pleased that I rarely had to suggest changes to the Code Generation team.
