Introduce your business and what you do there.

I'm a director of global development at Brazil Bronze. We manufacture luxury spray tan solutions, and we sell our products to salons, spas, and the general public.

What challenge were you trying to address with CGColors?

We wanted to put together a Shopify store, so we needed a developer with expertise in e-commerce to help us.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

CGColors updated the look and feel of our website, helped us position the pictures properly, and added an e-commerce plugin. With the Shopify web store, our customers can use PayPal and Amazon Pay as their payment options. In addition, CGColors helped us with SEO.

What is the team composition?

We mostly work with Josh (Owner, CGColors).

How did you come to work with CGColors?

We found out about them through other people in our industry. We interviewed a few companies and decided that CGColors was the best fit. We also tested them with a couple of smaller projects before we gave them the larger project.

How much have you invested with them?

We've spent between $5,000–$10,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them in June 2017, and the relationship is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

They've given us more visibility and helped us establish our keyword lists. The traffic to our website has increased and we have more new customers, so we're happy with the outcome.

How did CGColors perform from a project management standpoint?

They're very accessible. We've used text, email, and phone calls to stay in touch and they've been very responsive.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They have fast turnaround times, which makes a big difference.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can't think of anything.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

It's always helpful when a vendor has experience in your industry, but that doesn't always happen. We couldn't find a company that had a lot of experience in our industry, but everything worked out very well.
