CAYK has consistently been on time with deliverables and updates where deliverables are longer term. The team we are working with have been proactive in determining new outlets for us, and very open to discussion and changes when requested.

Analytics have informed the majority of the decisions, with some leeway for creative and out of the box thinking that has so far proven to be extremely effective. We have regular communication and touchbase moments, and larger meetings when necessary to plan, review results, and adapt where necessary.

The genuine excitement for our project and passion for what they do is what impressed us most about CAYK. CAYK has done a phenomenal job developing our website. Megan took care of the copywriting and editing, saving us a lot of time. Throughout the process, she implemented a lot of great things she felt were needed for our site without asking, which was impressive. She has even ordered our business cards for us, which has been very helpful.

CAYK has worked quickly and delivered on time, and they’ve facilitated a straightforward and simple development process. They’ve even beaten the deadlines. We mostly communicate via email, but we’ve used Zoom a couple of times.

CAYK is responsive and professional, and they take the initiative instead of waiting for direction. Initially, I give them a general direction, but they’ve taken the initiative since. Other companies simply wait for the client, but CAYK is very proactive in showing the client what they need. Although some clients may not like that aspect, CAYK’s proactiveness has helped me figure out what I want and bring it to life.

CAYK’s SEO techniques have included structural changes to our website, backlinking, keyword research, and content writing. Additionally, they’ve created a new branding profile and approach to our recruitment process while updating our website accordingly. When I was searching for a service provider, I looked at the different types of services a marketing company could offer. As previously mentioned, my need was fairly unique, and I wanted to focus more on a recruitment channel than on business sales and marketing. When I was submitting this review, I recognized Clutch, so that was probably one of the tools that contributed to finding different companies.

Throughout this process, I reached out to various organizations, but one of the companies that stood out to me the most was CAYK due to their instant response to my inquiry. Their responsiveness set the tone for our entire engagement. Additionally, I really liked that CAYK was a local company in Calgary, Canada, and the second generation of a family-owned organization, which is rare in their space. Those qualities align with my company’s values.

On top of that, I found it interesting that CAYK set up the engagement on a monthly renewal structure. This approach makes their mission to prove themselves as a value add to the organization every month and provide results to support that.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Thanks to CAYK, we now have a new channel to attract and hire more people, which is what we wanted. Thus far, we’ve seen an increase in both the quantity and quality of applicants, which was also one of our goals.

Before working with CAYK, we had a 1% quality applicant rate. However, since opening the new applicant channel, we’ve seen a tenfold improvement. On top of that, we’ve seen an improvement in other minor things, such as our website optimization, keyword research, and social media presence.

How did CAYK Marketing Inc. perform from a project management standpoint?

CAYK has been very quick, prompt, open, and honest — their entire team has been very responsive from the beginning. They’re also very data-driven, so they’re always eager to show me results and pride themselves on backing up their performance with data, which is very appealing.

Everything that CAYK has done has been within budget, and they’ve always stuck to our timelines. The fact that our engagement is ongoing is the beauty of it. CAYK always tries to be an integral part of our business, and they don’t treat it as just another project.

Most of our meetings are in person, which is very important for us. We’ve also communicated via Zoom, but their team is always willing to meet us in person. Part of CAYK’s approach is bringing cupcakes or some kind of treat to their meetings, which is a huge highlight for many of our staff. That’s how they do things, and it is an added touch that has been very well-received internally.

CAYK’s transparency is impressive, and they always follow the data. Although they have hypotheses and try different approaches, they let the data dictate where to go next. This skill is outstanding because they don’t try to make something out of anything — if the data tells them something doesn’t work, it doesn’t work.

We needed a new website that was simpler to navigate, had improved functionality, better SEO, a clean look and a more responsive agency. Since we support individuals with disabilities, it was very important to us that our website was designed with this population in mind.

I had previously worked with someone who recommended this agency but we also shortlisted several other agencies. Deciding factors were the references we contacted, the willingness to also do in-person consultations, a very detailed outline of the process but mostly, the positive and professional team interaction established right from the beginning.

Our new website has received a lot of positive feedback from both internal and external stakeholders.

This was a very smooth working relationship in large part due to their transparency and very regular communication. There were scheduled meeting dates but a lot of email/zoom communication from the project manager as well. They provided regular progress updates on both current and future deliverables and communicated clearly and quickly on any issues.

They were very easy to work with and delivered an excellent site. They listen and take the time to explain technical aspects when necessary, so I can make informed decisions. They respected my input and made the process a collaborative effort. There were no surprises, and while very friendly, they were always professional.

No, they really have been one of the easiest agencies I have ever worked with. They are very open to feedback and working with you, so it always feels like any issues that do arise will be dealt with professionally, quickly and to your satisfaction.

Over the years, we’ve challenged CAYK to integrate cutting-edge features into our site. Over time, we’ve seen exponential growth in our website metrics, reaching up to a 300% increase in traffic and an 8% click-through rate. Additionally, CAYK is a very good financial planner — all of our marketing campaigns are showing an upward trend, and I’m getting a very good ROI.

As general feedback, the site developed by CAYK has great functionality. We’ve received very positive comments from clients regarding how easy it is to use and find information within it.

CAYK’s project management is excellent, and they have a very good team. They’re very responsive, effective, and easy to work with; I simply send them an email, and they get the work done.

When we started, we managed it ourselves on GoDaddy, but they’ve switched it over to WordPress. The main thing we wanted for the website was to look professional. They’ve taken everything under their wing, including UX/UI design. Now, CAYK Marketing Inc. keeps up the site.

The team also creates content and sends it over to review it. Sometimes we make changes here and there, but whenever they send something, it’s pretty on the spot on what we require. When we onboarded them, we had a good discussion on our services. From there, they’ve come up with the content on their own.

Additionally, we’re enrolled in Google Ads, and they encompass all the services we offer, including all the keywords they have.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

They’ve helped us redefine our business process. When we first started with them, they helped us create monthly tiered packages to obtain recurring revenue clients. 

Moreover, we’ve been quite impressed with the campaigns they’ve put together for our Google Ads. From time to time, we go into Google and search for safety consulting in Alberta and Calgary, and more often than not, our ads pop up at the top of the page.

Last week, we noticed that the contact form inquiries weren’t coming through because of a glitch in the system. However, we reached out to the team, and they got everything fixed right away. When there are any deficiencies, they fix them, explain what went on, and make sure it doesn’t happen again.

In general, they’ve exceeded our expectations. When I started the business, I knew I’d have to do a lot of marketing, but that knowledge was out of my realm. CAYK Marketing Inc. has lifted an enormous weight off my shoulders, and I can just give everything to them without worrying about it.

Everything’s been within budget, and all the deliverables have been on schedule. We generally communicate through emails. However, if either of us needs to address something urgently, we do a phone call. Also, we randomly reach out via hone to ask how’s everything going.

Their communication is their strong point. They’re always right there, whether it’s on email or phone call, and it gives us peace of mind to know they’re always there.
