Fundraising and awareness video material in line with our existing visual branding and goals, that effectively and compellingly identifies the stigmatized issue of period poverty (inability to afford needed menstrual products). We received a final video, as well as two strong edits permitting more targeted use, fully developed and ready to go.

Thus far, the full video they delivered has performed 1,227% better than any of our previous videos on Instagram and generated a significant amount of conversation and ongoing organic shares.

a 2-3 minute animated video, describing our water operations, how complex they are, the various partners and the many complicated inputs that go into deciding whether we should release water from our dam or not. The script, animation and editing were all covered by Casual. I provided the voiceover.

We started with a brainstorming discussion to ensure they understood the content. Then they provided a storyboard to ensure they had the right concepts and basic facts down. 
They then provided a script and animation style options for review, and once those were approved, they provided the first draft. We offered edits and they provided the final draft.

This was the most seamless video production process I've ever participated in, and I've done this a lot. They were so organized and had clear deadlines.
Although they were super flexible if I needed them to be, they were great about gently nudging me to ensure I got them what they needed so we could stay on track. They were always on time, until the end, when they actually finished ahead of schedule.

The team was amazing to work with—so creative and smart. It is not often that people with no water backgrounds can walk into one meeting and really understand what we're talking about. What impressed us most about Casual was their level of professionalism and expertise. Having never worked with such a large film company before, we were struck by how seamlessly they operated, and their ability to provide clear, professional guidance in key areas of the project was invaluable and demonstrated their deep experience and competence in the field.

As discussed with the team at Casual, the only area we would suggest for improvement is to use separate email chains for each video to clearly outline the final deliverables. While this wasn't a significant issue for us, implementing this would enhance organisation and communication, making future projects even smoother.

We commissioned Casual to produce and shoot a 2-min branded video for Cunard, as a core element of our campaign "Mastery at Sea". We also commissioned a 30s and 15s cutdown of the video, and all assets were distributed across our digital, broadcast and social channels. The video was shot over two days when the cruise ship, Queen Elizabeth, was docked in Sydney Harbour. All stages of pre-production, production and post-production were carried out over a period of several weeks in collaboration with BBC StoryWorks and Cunard.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Video views and view-through rates were key metrics for this campaign, and our video achieved above-average view-through when looking at similar branded video campaigns for the APAC region. The volume of video views and view-through rates were key metrics for this project, and we saw above-average view-through when comparing to similar branded content video-led campaigns in the APAC region.

Thanks to their efficiency and excellent project management, the Casual team were able to shoot all footage required over the two days allocated while the cruise ship was docked, and stuck to post-production timelines to deliver the video assets on time, ready to be rolled out across our channels.

We asked Casual to produce a film to highlight our commitment to our representation aspirations. We wanted to tell the story of an individual working at the company who was using her own diverse background and upbringing to help underrepresented patients in her community.

The project garnered very strong audience figures both internally and externally. Although the final figures are yet to be released, we believe the project significantly exceeded our external social media benchmarks. We also received positive comments not just from our followers internally and externally but also from other agencies who applauded the style and visuals of the film and the great storytelling,

Casual was brilliant. We wanted to produce a film in a distinctive style that would connect emotionally with our audience and also make them sit up and take notice of our message. The film they produced did exactly that. It vividly brought to life the colours and sounds of our filming locations and the heartfelt story of our interviewee - in short, it told an individual's story in a way that hadn't ever been done before at our company. 
Each time I watch it back, it still moves me and I know it has had a similar impact on others, judging by some of the comments we've received.

• The videos (4) turned out better than expected, the process was not easy because of the complexity of the assignment but the team was professional and amazing every step of the way.

I'm the Brand Manager of an online betting brand. We offer bettors a view of what's to offer from the full betting market.

For what projects/services did your company hire Casual?

We were looking to produce a video advert as part of an upcoming marketing campaign and didn't have the resource in-house to achieve that ourselves. Our tight timeline also meant we were limited on options so looking to work with a production house that could move quickly.

How did you select this vendor?

We'd gathered a shortlist of agencies and production houses we might look to work with at some point and Casual were one of those. Having spoken to a few candidates for this project we decided to work with Casual - they were a good balance of enthusiastic and realistic about the project in the context of our timeline and budget and we knew they could hit the ground running.

After our initial chat we had a kick-off meeting for the project and were assigned a producer. We were provided with a clear schedule to show when edits would land and feedback rounds would occur and quickly moved onto drafting up a script and gathering assets.

What was the team composition?

We've worked closely with a few producers and were invited to attend an edit in person so spent a full day with the editor which was invaluable. The team have worked closely with myself and our in-house creatives throughout.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The campaign has only just gone live so it's not possible to give performance metrics at this stage, but the internal feedback on the output has been very positive.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The process between teams has been seamless. We've mainly communicated over email and adding comments to videos on Vimeo links which has proved to be very efficient. For anything that needed a more detailed discussion, the team were always happy to jump on a call.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Their efficiency and communication stood out. Considering the tight schedule we demanded, we're very happy with the output. They were also very resourceful, filming shots in their studio using members of their team rather than actors. That really brought the piece to life without breaking the bank.

Nothing that comes to mind.

I'm the Director of Marketing at CNA National. We are an industry-leader in the F&I protection products space within the automotive marketplace.

For what projects/services did your company hire Casual, and what were your goals?

We were tasked with creating video content that elevated the brand and delivered a new product to the marketplace.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Deciding factors included a mix of 3d animation capabilities and their prior body of work. The samples of work they provided were very impressive.

Describe the video(s) and the process in detail, including the project steps and all stages of production.

We began the process with a discovery meeting. Shortly after the discovery meeting, we began collaborating on the voiceover script and storyboard. Filming was held locally in Arizona with one of our dealership partners. The final output file was delivered in early January with both live action and 3d animation that has truly separated us from other providers in the marketplace.

Who did you work with and what was the feedback process like?

We worked with with an executive producer and producer on the Casual Films team. Feedback was delivered during Zoom meetings, phone calls, and over email throughout the duration of the project. Their team was extremely responsive and accommodating to our needs.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

At this time, our video has only been viewed by a select audience but I can say that the impression both externally and within our walls has been significant. This video has set the standard for what's possible and it will elevate our brand.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Casual has already delivered the video. We haven’t published it yet, but the internal feedback has been really positive. We plan to post the video on our website and social media channels, including YouTube.
