I required my old website migrating onto the Shopify platform. I needed to scale back my new website so only pre defined products were transferred over. I didn't want my new website to look too unlike my old website so similar formatting was used. The work needed to be completed by the end of January 2025 before my old website account expired.

I required a fully functional website on the shopify platform. The process to transition from my old website to the new needed to have min impact on my customers.

We kept a checklist of things to do so we could keep track of what was done and left to do. The website is up and running with little bugs or redos, only a few SEO points to clarify.

Everything went fine once they got on the project. The checklist made it easy to work together on the project and have a view of what was to be done. They finished a little behind the scheduled delivery date but compensated with extra work on the website.

We had a kick off meeting to discuss the scope of work. Taras reverted with a full itemised list of deliverables. Cart Blender then created a shopify store front for our review, while working with the Recharge team to begin the migration process for our subscribers. CartBlender liaised with all relevant stakeholders on our behalf which was extremely helpful. We gave feedback via a Notion kanban board and CartBlender responded to tickets raised by us promptly until everything was in agreed form.

After launching we have quadrupled our subscriber base and benefitted from a much cleaner sales process. It's great also to have an integrated shipping service, referral system and full marketplace capability.

We had a Notion board to keep track of all tasks - this gave a great indicator of project progress in advance of a big launch for our business. Taras also provided regular updated via Whatsapp which was extremely convenient for us.

They were extremely flexible and willing to adapt to our fairly unique project. Taras met our tight deadlines and was able to explain complex technical issues along the way so that handover to our new site was seamless. We also benefitted from support after the project which was extremely helpful.

I was starting a baby furniture rental startup and had a simple Wix website built for idea validation. After collecting some data and leads feedback, I decided it was time to build a commercial pilot – a fully functional rental website to kick off my business. For this reason, I started searching for a development and design agency, since I did not have enough design or technical skills myself.

I started searching for a team who had enough experience and skills to help me with setting up a website. I shortlisted a few providers together with an external IT-consultant close to me. After a few rounds of discussions and a sound comparison of providers and offers, I decided to go for Cart Blender who proved themselves to be the most professional, credible, and caring provider among the available options. Before starting the development project and as part of the initial evaluation phase (and before paying anything, cartblender already created a project roadmap, suggested a suitable technical stack for my needs, and provided some valuable insights. The communication with Taras was very effective and swift while the pricing was reasonable. I felt confident in my choice and was not disappointed eventually.

The project was done in 2 stages: Functional Pilot (MVP with a simple design and basic features) and Commerical Pilot. Our initial idea was to use Shopify + Bold Subscriptions for the website. However, after some additional tests, research, and Zoom meetings, we decided to switch from Bold to Firmhouse. Even though it meant a minor setback in the delivery time and extra work, the Cart Blender team was very understanding and did not exceed the agreed budget. Once I provided the text content, product data, and design guide, the Cart Blender team took care of all the rest: created wireframes, UI/UX design, theme customizations, integration with Firmhouse, custom features development, QA, and eventual website launch.

Almost all of my communication happened with Taras who's the agency's Co-Founder and Project Manager. At least one developer and UI/UX designer were also working behind the scenes.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The team worked hard on delivering a project exactly how I saw it and eventually exceeded my expectations by suggesting a few smart design and functional solutions. The MVP product was approved by my friends and family, and the Commerical Pilot was very positively received by the lead base I had.

Most of our communication happened with Taras via email with regular status updates on WhatsApp and Zoom calls (2 times per week or more if it was necessary). I was confident in how the project went at every stage, especially once we finalized the technical setup.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Cart Blender was very proactive and helpful; I learned a lot about the technical side of the project. The best thing is the price-to-quality ratio – I can hardly imagine someone else being so diligent, dedicated, and passioned within such a reasonable budget. Taras – the Project Manager – has become a friend of mine with whom we continue to talk even after the project was finished.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I feel like the experience was beyond perfect. The only thing I could point out is that we lost a few days on changing the subscription software after discovering that Bold Subscriptions did not suit our needs fully. However, Cart Blender this did not have any impact on the project's success itself. In fact, Cart Blender always focused on the best outcome in a very constructive manner, in this case by proactively and independently researching, comparing, diligencing, and then onboarding the new subscription platform despite some not billable extra hours on their side.

That being said, I didn't actually have to give them much direction as they were really creative and understood exactly the theme I was going for. I was so delighted with the outcome which was better than I had even envisaged.

Very grateful to have found such a great team to work with and I will most definitely be using them for any future web development needs that I may have.

We hired them to migrate all our products, pictures, descriptions, skus, eans to the new platform, while maintaining the api connection to 2 of our suppliers stock so we could have everything integrated and stocks updated.

Super friendly, very committed to ours needs, and we could tell right from the first minutes that they knew what they were doing. The decision was made right there on the first talk. He hired them.

We needed to migrate from Magento 2 to shopify, we also needed to create a bra size calculator so that the client could insert the body measurements and the correct size would be suggested with diferent models, and at the same time export the client email, body measurements and suggested size to klaviyo email provider so we could build a segment of clientas via size. We have a lot a products with a lot of variantes it was a huge task. We also needed to migrate the api connection to our suppliers so the stock would be always up to date.

For B2C-Customers we wanted to create a wonderful Online-Shop www,schoene-briefe.de where you can order individual handwritten letters. However, due to a government grant, the project had to be completed within 3 weeks.

A main point of the online store is the price structure. Here it is necessary to determine the price depending on the number of characters and other specific parameters apply. This had to be programmed manually, as a pre-developed app for this does not exist.

The Design and usability is wonderful and customers (and we :-)) are loving this Web-Shop. We have raised our business for more than 400% with this new version.

During the three weeks of order execution, we communicated several times a day. We always had a quick response and were thus able to work through the individual steps quickly. If things went a little slower, that was always on our side.

Since we are not a tech company as a manufactory for handwritten things, we asked about an exchange of content via Google Sheets. CartBlender was very accommodating and professional in solving this, even though it probably wasn't the easiest solution for them.

They should not make so many subsequent order adjustments for free. This can not be good for a company :-) They are really great!!!!!
