Captivix has helped us integrate Microsoft Dynamics into our WordPress website; they’ve also helped create some plug-ins that are compatible with Microsoft Dynamics. They’ve migrated the entire site to WooCommerce.

The project's first phase has just wrapped up, so we’re getting ready to start phase two. Captivix’s team has done a great job. So far, our customers have been very happy with the new and functional frontend, which just went live.

Their team is very good at meeting deadlines — they’re very punctual. Typically, we communicate through emails and Zoom meetings.

Captivix is very competitive and honest. Their team is very detailed when describing the work they’re going to execute.

No, there’s nothing for them to change.

Tell Captivix exactly what you want to be done and see if their team thinks the project is feasible. Also, you should ask for a cost for their services upfront.

RPG is the single-source solution for creating a successful incentive program. RPG Card Services provides the most popular retail gift cards, reward cards, and network-branded prepaid cards to businesses and organizations throughout the United States and Canada. The services provided are put in place for incentives, employee recognition, government assistance, and customer loyalty programs.

With over 15 million gift cards and prepaid cards distributed annually, RPG offers end-to-end program services, which include in-house fulfillment and card customization. The company also provides comprehensive program management services to top-tier retailers to maximize sales and optimize the efficiencies of their prepaid card programs. RPG is the exclusive program services provider for the Shel Gift Card in the U.S. and Canada. My position is Vice President, Marketing and Client Services.

Vendor came as a recommendation from one of our points of contact. We selected Captivix because of the following reasons:

The project was to develop an online platform for customer to order, assign, and distribute gift cards. The online portal required a few integrations, including single sign on with an enterprise SSO module and Concur PO system. The progect was developed using agile methodology.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The project progress was easy to track because of the weekly live demos. Moreover, all the project requirements were met in a timely fashion. Project was delivered within budget. Overall the project was a success.

Coming from a non-technical background, their team was patient and relayed the information in simple, digestible chunks followed by visual demos. The weekly demo made the project predictable and increased efficiency on both sides. The communication and the working chemistry between our teams was much better than expected.

Apart from strong technical, communication, and management skills, their willingness to immerse themselves in solving an issue was the most impressive trait I found about Captivix.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

None - not only were expectations met but were exceeded in many areas of the project.

We hire captivix to build our desktop based applications and web apps. Our goal was to build the entire software from scratch.

We found Captivix from one of our recommendation. Since Captivix had really good past experience in building software and applications, so we trusted them.

The scope of work was to build a solution that is extremely user friendly such that even a normal non IT person could easily use our application. The project step included a discovery call followed by filling ideas vs needs gap. The the agile project management method was used and a project manager from Captivix assisted us in guiding us to get this application built.

Their where 5 people in this project from vendor. Headed by CTO and a project manager. Plus 3 developer who helped us in assisting our vision to an application building.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We had a similar product earlier. We shared the same with the vendor and they entirely came up with our new app that was more easy to use. The step clicks involved in the overall operation of user to perform campaign was much better than what we had earlier plan. So overall the software is now more professional.

We used agile style. Communication was done through zoom call and also with in office meetup.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The impression was good. The unique part was their way the entire project was handled and the team was extremely dynamic in choosing a technology for the development.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

So overall we didn't find any block but just as a suggestion that they can reduce the number of one to one meeting since we trust our partner while choosing them, so weekly update was a good part but daily updates from project can sometime delay the process.

Founder - BevAnalytics. We are a digital survey company that provides data about how alcohol brands are positioned and placed in the bar/restaurant channel. We hired Captivix to develop the entire platform.

We hired Captivix to develop the entire platform, data base, mobile app and visualization tool. Our goal was to build an enterprise caliber and ready platform that would be a turn key add on to our target clients current technologies and ways of working.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Captivix came highly recommended due to their experience in building enterprise caliber software, database, and mobile solutions. They already had a lot of experience in this space when we hired them.

Scope was everything from ideation to final deliverables and on-going maintenance/improvements. We ideated the best solutions and received a detailed proposal for the effort needed. We proceeded forward and began developing the platform. Captivix enabled us to stay engaged throughout the process. We had weekly update calls to keep the project progressing and remove bottle necks. We built everything in MS.net and MS Power BI to be compatible with our clients technologies.

There have been approx 10 or so folks (probably more that I am unaware of) that have worked on this project. However the lead PM has always been our day to day contact. The CEO has also always been available when needed.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We accomplished the aim of producing enterprise caliber technology that fortune 500 companies would consider implementing within their organizations. We had meetings with 13 of the top 20 companies in this industry and progressed many conversations to near contractual agreements. The challenge was many companies wanted to either be exclusive which was not a good business model for us, and if not they wanted to develop their own internal solutions.

As a result the majority of our engagements ended up being with smaller clients. As a result we were not able to scale the business the way would had initially envisioned.

Captivix team was very good at explaining tech to non tech people such as myself. They had the patience to explain the typical technical challenges and decisions that we had to make along the way. They also were very good at documenting their specs and work. Throughout this process they have been very good at explaining difficult concepts to non tech people.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They certainly took ownership in the product. They feel like an extension of our team and we introduce them that way when they join us for client meetings. They also have been very good at proposing solutions that are very forward thinking. So that when we finish our dev we are far enough ahead of the curve where we aren't obsolete before even launching.

They also help us plan for the development that we should be considering down the line. This is a tremendous help when budgeting for this type of service because so much is unknown. They do a great job of helping us plan.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Looking back, we probably should have trusted Captivix even more. Meaning we should have trusted all their recommendations from the get go. However we often vetted out their recommendations with other tech professionals which usually came back that Captivix was spot on.

Getting 2nd opinions definitely took time and also had a cost associated. I'm glad we did because there is no buyers remorse, however it took working together for a while before we stopped vetting out all their recommendations. That would have saved us some time and money. However otherwise, they are a very strong, talented, and well run organization to work with.

We got a user-friendly SEO-optimized platform. The traffic is getting improved everyday with the kind of marketplace that was built by Captivix for us.

We had daily Friday followup with the Project manager over Zoom meeting. And project updates were shared on weekly basis. Google Sheet and Doc were used as a medium for sharing information and timeline.

The weekly follow-up helped us stay on a timeline that was a very impressive plus. The transparent communication from the CEO's end.

we found them overall good. But they can be better at choosing the communication tool to which the client is already adapted.
